Basepoint.co.uk has a rating of 1.0 star from 2 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases.
•Mid contract price increases
•One member of staff onsite (occasionally), who offers little to no help, and refuses to offer an alternative contact.
•Lift is broken more often than not
•No security. Gate is often left unlocked overnight and break-ins are a regular occurrence.
•Regular failed attempts to introduce new hidden charges and fees for services that aren't requested or even offered.
•Unwilling to negotiate any kind of exit clause.
•Unjustified and extortionate fees at the end of contract for 'refurbishment' charged per square foot of the office space regardless of the condition it is left in.
•Will not discuss return of the deposit before all exit fees are paid.
•Once all paid and left they still won't pay back your deposit.
We rented hot desks and attempted to upgrade to a office. We were not provided a contract for the office space, so after hearing the office reception and community managers screaming at each other in the main reception, decided we were better off leaving.
They billed us without authorisation for the office anyway, illegally debiting our business accounts. Fortunately we were able to get it back but not before it impacted our business.
We are now fighting to get our deposit back, they are attempting to try and keep %50 of that too, which makes no sense what so ever. The customer services are in a foreign country and the office staff act like they have no authorisation to help customers. Truly a awful place to rent, Beware.
Tip for consumers:
Their terms and conditions are not provided in advance of billing, and they are unfair once you are committed. Zero integrity at this business.
