Bought a couple of cymbals in the sale (absolute bargains!) Website descriptions were clear and detailed. Delivery date was unexpectedly going to be later than advertised but they emailed in good time to let me know (these things happen, can't fault them for that). Would definitely buy here again

I have written this on trustpilot but willl write it here too. Bought a squier classic vibe 50s Stratocaster from Bax Music after not being able to find one anywhere else at a reasonable price. All other ones in the website were sold out apart from the Sunburst. I was out when it was delivered but when I got back a few days later and opened it up I found a defect on the headstock and two reasonable scratches on the bodywork. I got in touch with bax music to ask them what could we done about this and if I could get a partial refund. They responded saying we can offer compensation in the form of a voucher, but we need to see proof of these defects in a photograph. I sent through two photographs, Which was days ago and have heard absolutely nothing since Very disappointed in the service, probably would not use again Update: I also went through the official channel for return on the website, stating exactly the same and that I can't send it back and instead require either a refund or compensation. I have heard absolutely nothing! I'm disgusted at this level of customer service

Bought a guitar (Recording King Dirty 30s Parlor). Excellent service, beautifully packed and arrived in excellent condition. Needed some set up and new strings but that's normal. Bought some strings which arrived in a huge box that meant I had to make a trip to local post office to collect (see photo). Decided to find it amusing rather than annoying. Would definitely buy instruments again from Bax, but might look elsewhere for guitar/banjo strings that will go through letter box.

Just built my second bax guitar blank kit Stratocaster looks great and sounds great, after my son bought me one, telecaster as a gift, great fun to do good quality and very reasonable price, would recommend it if you're thinking of giving it a go at building your own guitar

Arrived rapidly👍 the guitar is lovely, the build is to a premium spec and amazing for the price.
The set-up out the box was perfect for me, the action was bang on and its tone is great, I love playing it. I have Taylor guitars gs mini, ad22e and ad17 and the ibanez size wise sits in the middle of the ad22e and ad17 about the same size as a Martin 000, exactly what I was after. The service from Bax was great and their range is vast (especially being left-handed) I'll will be checking them out in future for sure 😀.

I returned a Zoom UAC-232 interface on 27 March 2024 and today, 19 April, I STILL have not received my refund. Useless customer service - you've lost me, Bax Music, forever.

Tip for consumers:
DREADFUL company - please AVOID!!!!

Product ordered as specified and exactly what I needed. Easy to order and arrived in good time. Only disappointment is the crazy size of packaging for such a small item - the postman had a good laugh - thought he was delivering an empty box!

As usual, the best price I could find and good, timely communication to let me know when items were in stock (true to estimates) and dispatched.
My only wish is that Parcelforce were not used for delivery due to poor delivery drivers at my end - definitely NOT Bax's fault.

Shipping is free above a certain amount.

Ordered a Flx6. Best price anywhere on the internet even cheaper than some second hand sites. There was a delay with the order but Bax made sure to keep me informed and gave a very accurate time for delivery.

Ordered guitar in November 2023. Got regular emails saying the order is being delayed another week. Now, 2/2/2024, I've just had an email saying they can't fulfill my order. I'l have my refund then.
Do not use these scammers.

I was not given any information regarding the delivery date and had no opportunity to change it. The guitar was left on the doorstep, luckily my partner was at home

My first experience of buying a product from Bax. And a first class experience it has been. Superb communication and super fast delivery. Very pleased and impressed! Will definitely use Bax again in the future. Highly recommended!

Ordered the guitar: a Takamine P Series. I received an email a few days later to say that the model had been discontinued - despite being on Takamine's website - (It hadn't; I placed the order instead with my local guitar shop). Then ten business days to refund the money? And needlessly cold and unhelpful customer service. Even if they offer you some marginal savings, it's much better to get the support and helpful service from a shop - or even other online sellers such as andertons or gear4music tbh. Whom I've only had good experiences with.

Like many here I have suffered a catalogue of issues and seem to be nowhere near sorting them out.
Briefly, I bought a PA, it wasn't fit for purpose at anything over one-third volume. Returned it. Got a brand new one which was exactly the same. So asked for a refund as it wasn't fit for purpose. I was offered a 3rd, refused, and spent many weeks back and forth before finally getting help after writing to the UK CEO. It was accepted that it wasn't fit for purpose and I was offered a credit to the full amount.
Was then asked to pay for the return, before finally getting a pre-paid label. Returned the item and some 6 weeks later it turned up back at my door, as 'repaired' despite the agreement in place. So that has now gone back again and now they have emailed to say they are knocking £25 off any credit, no reason and when asked they couldn't provide one and are still searching for the reason.
The customer service team does not appear to record anything or check the statuses of orders and simply sends out wonderful generic emails which only make them look worse.
I have had enough, no more credit notes, I want my money back and I can then draw a line under this debacle.

Worst. Customer. Service. Offering. Ever.
Semi-acceptable if you are simply buying stuff and dont mind their ludicrously random estimates of delivery times.
For anything else - like if you need to rejig an order... it is utterly bizarre how bad it is, the whole thing has clearly been DELIBERATELY designed to annoy people, obstruct them, frustrate them, vow to never use them again.

I bought a flight box case, they sent two by mistake, but one was sent elsewhere.
I received ONLY ONE and they are chasing me saying I got two, threatening me to pay for something I haven't received. I will have to take legal actions as I am out of the country and they are causing me a lot of stress.
Impossible to get through to them. I am just getting emails from someone asking me to pay for a box I DIDNT RECEIVE! Awful company.
I truly recommend you not to buy from them.

Do not use Bax Music! What a waste of time and money it has been. We ordered some DJ Truss for a show in November 2023 that never arrived. When we requested a refund for it, they sent us a partial refund for some odd reason (even though the product never arrived). Since Nov 2023 till now (end of March 2024) we have been going back and forth in loops requesting the rest of our refund, and they keep taking the piss by telling us we haven't provided the bank details, then the confirmation number, they even went as far to say we weren't emailing from the original email we had been communicating on (even though it was the same email thread and clearly the same email address). We have holded off writing this review for a few months to give them the benefit of the doubt, but it's seeming clear that there's something else going on. Avoid at all a costs!

Stay away from this company. If you ever need costumer service is a joke. Been having problems since LAST YEAR.
Imagine this:
-You buy a product
-Half comes faulty
-Bax officers to replace only faulty part, specifically saying keep the rest, send only faulty part.
-No contact
-I contact, apologies but please send the full product for replacement, costumer service made mistake.
-goes back to print label and back to post office.
- waits, no contact. Weeks.
- calls, things take time. Reply from bax.
- email from Bax, no longer have my product available. Offer refund or replacement of faulty part and return of my old half of bundle. (Back to the beginning)
- wait weeks. No contact.
- call bax, no one knows anything. Rude costumer service hangs up after saying "we don't know where your old interface is, is probably lost" and hangs up
- call again, explained costumer service made mistake, they can't send any of the equipment back or replace. But will contact me back. Also request to talk to manager due to previous ruse experience. No manager is ever available, only through request.
- days, no call from manager but email saying found solution. Upsell to better model for extra 100 pounds.
- reply asking for a better solution.
- silence.
- keep emailing.
- silence.
- try to get CEOs attention
- ignored, comments deleted.
- still no contact.
- still no equipment.
- still no solution
- you are keeping my money and equipment and dragging for months. Costumer service replye again after last call... "We don't know, we work from home, you have to keep waiting for a reply"

This is where I'm still. In Bax shop limbo.

This outfit took my order on 7/2/24 and said there was a delay of 2 to 3 weeks. They charged my Credit Card immediately, but I trusted they would deliver before end February. I then got a further e-mail saying delayed by a further 4 weeks and then on 7/3/24 another e-mail to say yet another 3 weeks delay on top - it looks like around 8th April is when they now expect to take delivery. The product is available elsewhere and in view of the latest delay I have 3 times asked for the order to be cancelled and my Credit card refunded urgently, so that I can buy the item elsewhere. So far, they have failed to respond at all and I am really worried that they may not be genuine. Looks like I will have to contact my Credit Card people to get my money back, as I no longer trust Bax!

very unhappy with the attitude of Bax

I had to return a guitar and Bax were very quick in issuing the refund (thomann made me wait 7 weeks!) The replacement guitar arrived a few days after I ordered if and was perfect. I'll use Bax over Thomann if I can in future

I wanted pair a pair of speakers stands. I chose to go with the K & M *******.
The Bax Music shop offered the product at a very competitive price. I chose parcel force as the delivery courier because it was the cheapest available and, there wasn't an immediate need for the speaker stands. I placed the order on the 12th of March and it arrived on the 14th of March.
The product and its packaging came inside a Bax Music box. The products arrived in excellent condition and, I had no issues with Bax music.

Tip for consumers:
There is free delivery however, it requires spending a minimum of £199.

Purchased a B stock guitar, didn't mention anything on the description about the problems, all it said was it was a customer return, may be signs of use and packaging damage, the guitar wasnt checked properly, the volume and tone knobs were very loose and easily came off when turned.
The pickup height was low so I tried to adjust them, when I did they just came loose, they were pretty much screwed directly to the body, because they wouldn't go any higher they just sounded very weak.
The bridge pins were loose so when I used the whammy the posts holding the bridge would come out making the guitar constantly go out of tune.

I've also had nothing but trouble trying to send it back, customer service is absolutely terrible, takes days for them to reply and no one seems to have a clue.
I explained to them that I was disabled and couldn't get out to drop the guitar off at the post office, I asked if someone could collect it instead, days went buy yet again and then a message saying they would send a courier to collect it but it would cost £24.95, what a joke, I told them no way am I paying that, I said I would try and find someone who could drop it off for me, I said I didn't have a printer to attach a label, they said it was ok because the post office would print one for me, so I got a neighbor to take it for me only to find out when they got there that they couldn't print a label and that they would need a printer to print the label, obviously my neighbor wasn't happy, I felt so bad they had gone out of there way only to be turned away so now here I am back with the guitar and not knowing what to do with it, my neighbor didn't have a printer and I have no one else to ask, I can't believe they were going to charge me £24.95 to have it collected, they only changed me £6.99 I think it was...Still waiting to here back from them, I told them I'm going to take this further and speak to ombudsman and see if they can help me sort this, I just want this piece of crap guitar sent back and my money refunded.
I really wouldn't waste your time buying with this company, it's been more hastle than it's worth!

Absolutely appalling customer service.

I'll keep it short and sweet.

Bax received my faulty return 21 days ago and they still have my money. Today I will be contacting my bank to chase my funds back as Bax don't seem to be interested in giving my money back themselves.

I've had a total of 3 orders with Bax. The first was for a Les Paul. The price was very keen and it was dispatched from within the UK. It turned up fairly quickly but I thought it could have done with some packing material to stop the inner manufacturer box moving around inside the outer Bax box. The packaging inside the Gibson box however was very good with air bag caps around the top and bottom of the guitar case.

My second order was for a Jazzmaster. The price was reasonable and the Bax packaging seemed OK on first inspection. There was some cosmetic damage on the headstock caused in part by Fender not packing the guitar thoughtfully enough allowing the plastic bag with Allen keys and tremolo arm to bash up against the top of the headstock. However, if the inner box could not have moved inside the outer box, this might not have been a problem. Bax customer service were apologetic and offered a reasonable resolution.

The third order was for some guitar accessories paid for in part by the resolution to the second order. Good value items but the problem was the Parcelforce delivery. When it was overdue I phoned Parcelforce and they thought it hadn't been picked up from Bax yet. I then phoned Bax and got through to a computer that recorded my message but on first attempt it cut me off before I could explain the problem due to background noise at my end. On second attempt, I was able to say enough so that the customer service people unlike Parcelforce could look up where my parcel was and get back to me by email. It had been delivered to a neighbor days before but the Parcelforce tracking hadn't updated and no card was put through my door. I guessed which neighbor it had been delivered to and went to retrieve my stuff. No problem there and the items are good value.

As a comparison, I've ordered from DV247 before and their packaging, in my opinion, was superior because thick brown scrunched-up paper was packed around the manufacturer box inside the outer box preventing the product sliding around. However it did take 2 weeks to arrive from Germany. I wasn't aware that it would be dispatched from outside of the country. In the end this wasn't a problem but I was concerned that I might be erroneously charged import taxes/fees etc.

Overall I would recommend Bax due to good customer service, keen prices and relatively reasonable delivery times. The main improvements I think they could make would be using a different courier as standard - if any of them are any good and using packing material inside the outer box.
