We were informed of flipgive to use as a fundraiser for our kids' sports teams. Last year we used for my daughter's volleyball team and it seemed to go smoothly. This year we again used for my son's team. While the purchases of gift cards were legit, we have been having difficulty obtaining our team funds from the sales. It's over $300. Manager sent in the request for payout in May (end of season). We had to reach out as by mid July had not hear about the payout. Received an email July 30 saying they had a backlog, email July 31 saying the cheque was on the way. 3 weeks later still had not received a cheque. Have tried reaching at least 3 times to try and get an answer and now no reply on any of our attempts to contact. Yes people received their gift cards as purchased but the Manager is now out over $300 as they fronted the money to use for year end activities including the coaches' gifts. Would be hard to go back to the parents now and ask for $$. After this experience, DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND USING FLIPGIVE as a fundraiser.

My son's baseball team was using this site as a fundraiser. I made a pourchase that was supposed to earm 4% to the team. I received an email from Flipgive saying I had earned the 4%. They then only credited about half of that tot he team. Makes you wonder where the rest of the money goes. Not legit, they send you a list of things that "might have happened" as to why you were not credited what they told you they collected. They credited the team $36 out of the $66 that they should have.

While in concept, this sounds great, it's a scam and they keep your money and do not give you credit where credit is due for shopping trips, and to make it worse their help is nonexistent.
