If you find a book that you can't seem to find at all or can't find affordably anywhere else, it's probably because it really isn't available. This is one of those weird laundering sites that just leaves items up for sale even though they clearly don't have them in stock...or even plan to get them in stock. I was literally speaking to one of their "representatives" as they explained that the item is unavailable...while simultaneously seeing the item still for sale on the site. No follow up email or anything after the initial order confirmation email, even after sending them a request through their contact link for an update...still had to use the lousy chat only to find out it was not available that way. Absolutely avoid this site unless you want your time wasted and your money floating in the ether for a few weeks!

I attempted to order a textbook through bigger books as it was the cheapest price. I paid for expedited shipping so I could receive the book in time. However, they decided to cancel the order and not send some sort of email or notice informing me that they canceled the order. No reason was given, just simply a cancellation. I only figured it out after I was wondering where my book was. I received a confirmation email saying they will send an email when it was shipped. I had to thoroughly dig to find out it was cancelled. I would never buy from this site even if their textbook was half the price of the next cheapest one.

Love the options of how long to rent for and also shipping estimates depending on how quick one wants their books. My book shipping turned out late and so in the end I cancelled.

I was told this site was legitimate and had textbooks at a reduced rate but I can't believe how wrong that was. I ordered a textbook a month ago and never received it, so I spoke to customer service for them to tell me that it was shipped and it's my responsibility if I never got it! They told me I can't even get a refund for something I never received! This is absolutely unacceptable, and I can't believe that there is no way for me to get a refund when I spent well over $100 on something that was never even delivered!

When I purchased the book that I needed for school, I did not get a receipt for the order or any sort of confirmation for the purchase. Then there was no direct contact number to discuss the situation. I reached out using their chat session. Thinking I was texting with a robot, I explained to the agent about not getting a receipt and after a few minutes passed, he located my order and emailed the receipt. He explained that there was a glitch with their system and apologized for the mishap. This was my first experience ordering from BiggerBooks. Not sure if I would order again but if I do, I will be sure to read the reviews with low ratings.
I had not received a receipt for the purchase of my book. The customer service experience that I used was the chat session as I could not find a direct phone line for the company. The agent was helpful and found my order and apologized that there was a problem with their system sending out receipts on that particular day that I ordered the book. The book arrived in good shape, but it is not what I was expecting. It is worthless for my research, so I have sent it back. There is absolutely no way to get in phone contact with Bigger Books, which I consider as a sign of lacking in customer care. Yes, I was able to "chat" with someone eventually, but even that feature was hidden. It was rather obvious that the representative really did not want to help me with my issue, but she reluctantly did in the end. I paid full price for the book I returned. Maddeningly, Bigger Books sent me an email coupon or notice of the same book being 50% off one day after I received it. All around, this was not a great experience!

The site had it listed as such and the price difference for the print was even higher than the digital versions. They sent me the digital copy anyway! I purchased a book for $40. I used the book for a 7.5 week course. When I attempted to return the book I was offered $4.40. However, their policy is the minimum return has to be $5.00. I now know why I usually use Chegg for my textbooks. This was my first and last time w/BiggerBooks. Beware!

I ordered from Bigger Books because they had expedited shipping and could get my order to me in time for a conference. Without any warning or communication, my order was canceled, and by the time I found out it was too late to re-order from BiggerBooks or anyone else.
They basically said the order looked suspicious and canceled it. I'm not sure I believe them 100%. Considering the specific book, and addresses, and credit card security I'm not really sure who would want to commit fraud buying this specific book. No effort was made to check with me, and I missed the mark with my customer. Please note that sometimes businesses have to put in the address strangely, because a lot of online ordering/web sites make no accommodation for business or warehouse addresses that need to include job names for receiving purposes, so we have to fit it in the best we can.
