The company replaced three parts - capacitor/contactor/compressor saver-of my AC unit and charged nearly $1,000 (see invoice attached). I made inquires about similar jobs to other AC vendors and they quotes significant lower than CoolToday. I first emailed to their customer service about warranty on the repairs/parts, but waited for more than one week (8 days to be accurate) - no reply! I had to call them this afternoon. The two ladies who talked to me gave me contradictory answers - one said there is no warranty on parts and service, but another told me warranty service is totally up to management discretion. I paid nearly $1,000 for the job but cannot obtain warranty on the repair due to manager discretion. My question is what is the company's threshold for warranty, the $2,000 repair job, or $5,000 one, or $10,000 one? My encounter with CoolToday is absolutely a shock and cannot believe there exists such an unprofessional, arrogant and arbitrary firm in Tampa FL. This seems to be an expensive and meaningless mistake that we have learnt in a hard way.
