This is a scam website. The positive reviews posted here are all phony and are entered by the owner of that site to try to sucker more people to buying his invalid codes.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS CROOK.
I got scammed by this. STAY AWAY! The "codes" posted on this site don't work, plain and simple. They were stolen from somewhere else. And the article on their site claiming to be from the Wall Street Journal is FALSIFIED. This guy is a lying crook.
I'm not sure why the negative reviews. I was able to use my code for Wicked for last week's show and saved about $130 on a pair of orchestra seats. Worked for me just fine and I will gladly use again!
Crazy, I cant believe I just bought $69 Book of Mormon orchestra tix!
My friend told me about this site and it actually works. Very easy. Just registered and used the discount code for The Book of Mormon on Broadway by calling Telecharge and they mailed the tickets to my house. Best show I ever seen on Broadway! My girlfriend loved it as well :)
After seeing an Ad on Craigs List (http://newyork.craigslist.org/mnh/tix/*******302.html) I contacted them asking if they had genuine tickets to Book of Mormon show and was emailed back assuring me that they had many tickets to the specific show and that I just had to subscribe to their website and I would "unlock" the code which would allow me to go to a genuine ticket seller site and buy the tickets at a discounted price. I subscribed as directed, unlocked the code and when I entered it into the ticket seller's site (Telecharge), it said that it was an invalid code. I then contacted DiscountBroadwayNYC to get a new code but was not answered. I emailed another two times befire calling Telecharge directly who told me that the code that I was given was an old code from 2011 and that DiscountBroadwayNYC must have wanted me to subscribe to their site so lied. When looking at other codes on their site, it appears that they have been taken from a company which offers corporate discounts, Plum. I have alerted them to the fact that their codes are essentially being sold to the general public.
DiscountBroadwayNYC persuaded me to subscribe to their site by misrepresenting that they had access to discount tickets which they do not have. I, luckily, only paid one monthly subscription fee and have cancelled the rest of them and alerted Paypal to the scam. However, they also offered to have people pay a one off, larger fee, rather than the subscription which I am sure many other unsuspecting people have done.
