I ordered a box set In 2019 and paid for it and was told it was on its way
It never showed up Carol answered me very politely said because of Covid things were held up etc etc
I still have not received anything or my money back
I bought a boxed set of DVDs from these people. A week later they said it had been 'shipped'. 3 weeks later it hadn't turned up - they said they'd look into it. A week later I emailed them again, they said 'be patient - it must be a PO or Customs problem'. 2 weeks after that I asked for a refund. They said, 'No problem, but it'll take a week or so'. 2 weeks later I was told that the money had been deposited in my account - but it hadn't. I threatened legal action, and about 10 days later the money turned up. Three months of endless hassle and frustration, for nothing. These people are POISON. They don't have any dvds - there is nothing 'direct' about them. And once they've got your money they're masters of spinning a line in order to keep hold of it. Avoid them like the plague.
Tip for consumers:
Have a look at TrustPilot. They've loaded it with favorable reviews, all concerned with how kind and friendly and efficiently they deal with cases where the product hasn't shipped - but if you filter out the glowing positives, there's a large core of disgruntled customers who had the same experience as I did, except that half of them never got their money back. It seems that threat of police or legal action is the only thing that persuades them to cough up
