“They knew how to make games”

SeanLoi L.

I'm just thankful to the company for childhood, starting from their NFS video games series, ending with the Sims which I also admired playing back in the days. Unfortunately, they have stepped away from the development of the NFS and that's a pity, cuz these guys really knew how to create remarkable videogames. I wish I had at least one opportunity to play some video games from them which would be of the same quality, with the same thrilling plot and awesome cast as it was two decades ago.

“Corrupt Consumer-Neglectful Cooperation”

If I could leave a lower rating I would because Electronic Arts consistently and habitually prioritizes profit over any other business, game development, or moral responsibilities. If you ever plan to play any of their mediocre game you are required to have an EA account in order to access any online features which would not be a problem on its own if Electronic Arts did not routinely disable accounts without warning removing any online functions from their games as well as any future EA games to be released or bout out.

Tip for consumers:
If you previously owned or played an EA game, be sure you still have an active account before considering another EA title. Alternatively, avoiding any and all EA products would also save you from the headaches that myself and countless others have endured for a soulless remaster of the same game for the 40th time.

Why link an account to steam if I can't even use it? I've found this company to be garbage. I've tried downloading multiple games through steam that require an EA account and it doesn't not let you log in if your accounts are linked. EXTREMELY UNHELPFUL. Don't think these games should be on steam if they aren't going to work hand in hand. Take off the choice to link accounts if it's not gonna work.

Don’t use this site or give them you’re money

Not everyone has the chance to get an Xbox or a Play Station. Because you have to have one of those to get the Sims game. Then you would also have to get a TV a controller it's just really inconvenient. If it was on the Nintendo switch, I feel like a lot more people would probably play it. It would be a lot easier to have because I cannot get an Xbox or PlayStation but I already have a Nintendo switch. I've never played the game and it looks really fun. I just can't play it. I just really wish they would put it on the Nintendo switch so a lot more people can enjoy.

I bought Roaring Heights through the EA app for my Sims 3 game on 12/31/23. In my EA order history on the EA website, it gives me a code to register my game. The code does not work. I asked for help starting on 1/6/24. I've talked to 10+ people at EA now. They all gave me excuses but no one would give me a new code or a refund. Today I talked with someone over an hour and in the end, they told me the refund window ended so there was nothing to be done. I requested to speak to a manager, they told me they couldn't transfer me. I have sent everyone screenshots of proof that I bought the game and that the code doesn't work and now apparently, there is nothing to be done. Months of dragging this out, explaining my case to multiple people and no one could help me or at least try to make it right.

I have many other expansions for my game bought through the sims 3 store and the one time I try through the EA app, this happens. This is not user error.

Their response to consumer backlash for not liking $#*!ty bug riddled games is to talk down to their consumers and chastise them for not liking those $#*!ty bug riddled games. To add insult to injury, you have to install the EA Launcher and make an EA account to play their degenerate games even if you purchased the game from Steam.

EA clearly fired their in-house customer support in favor of a 3rd party chat company that is wildly unsupported, uninformed, and unable to assist customers. I feel bad for the chats they must receive by frustrated customers. They've basically made it impossible to recover old accounts by any means, destroying the chances of people with connected accounts of being able to use said accounts properly. The fact that this issue has been an issue for years and EA doesn't care to try to resolve says plenty about how little they care for their customers. They should be embarrassed.

Really annoyed, sat on the chat for support for a problem with my game for an hour and a half before someone was able to talk to me, and then that person clearly didn't know what they were doing and switched me over to another guy who told me to download something that will after downloading "stop the problem forever". Bare in mind i had to then sit and wait for this download to finish for 1 hour for it to not work. Completely disappointed. And no way am i going to sit through the queue again to talk to someone else who will most likely not help with my problem.

Improve your support because your games are quite decent at times!

I have played FIFA football since FIFA 2001 after moving from PES, but this EA FC 24 is by far the worst game I have ever played. To be honest I get depressed rather than find any enjoyment from it. The main reason is that it is not a realistic simulation game.
When I play against the computer their players are ridiculously fast, if you can tackle them you either fall over or the ball rebound back to them. They block every shot you make and the computer goal keepers makes ridiculous saves, almost 13-17 saves per game.
Your defenders either run backwards or just stand there.
It is obvious that EA sports makes the gameplay so bad because they want you to spend money on FUT.
Look how many complaints they get about their video games and EA FC 24, but you can tell they don't care because they don't do ANYTHING about it.
I am not going to buy anymore football games from EA SPORTS ever again, I only bought EA FC 24 because it was reduced in the black Friday deal, but now wish I had saved my money.

EA has no support.
Games do not work, and they do not fix issues.
Example is Star Wars Squadrons Anti-Cheat simply will not work.
All other game sellers have fixed issues, but EA has not.
I will never buy a game published by EA again, and will not recommend to anyone.

I was loading up Battlefield 4 when the EA Black Friday sale add came up, so I made the mistake
Of clicking on it as it was offing all the content that you don't have... so I ordered the lot thinking I was getting the UCAV, but to my surprise they sold me all the content that i already had, and no UCAV (the only content I got that i never had that the SCAR)
So i asked for a refund as how can they sell me content that I already had.
I did offer that if they could give me the unlock for the UCAV they could keep the $70, but all I have received is a bunch of BOT REPLIES asking the same questions over and over again, It's now January and I still do not have a resolution just heaps more BOT REPLIES...

By far the worst experience I've had with any sort of app before. Every single time it takes me 30 minutes to an hour in order to actually play anything. The app won't open the game even though Steam says it's running. It constantly crashes and disconnects and logs me out even though I always select keep me logged in. I have to go through trial and error to just open the app and then go through it all over again to actually use it. Awful. I know nobody at EA actually gives a damn about customer dissatisfaction but nonetheless I am severely disappointed.

Some good content, can't fault them on that but cash grabbing much. The fact that a series like the Sims 4 came out in 2014 and is still expensive to this date would be justifiable if it followed the same trend like it's predecessors, which had a large amount of content within each DLC and base game. What is now currently split into two or three separate packs was once one pack for it's predecessors... why?... Cash grabbing that's why.

Yes business wise it makes sense, split them up to increase potential revenue, but where's the appeal if you sell them for the same amount as the predecessors with less content or requirements to have all three to get the same content as one. That will just P*** off you cliental, already your company has this "reputation" why ride that train if it's going to crash and burn one day, wouldn't you rather get off and get on a new train that ends up in a better location long term?

It doesn't mean change everything and all at once, it means develop a strategy that encompasses your cliental in the bigger picture, source outside ideas and use a dying system and poor reputation as an opportunity to create a new model and better company reputation that will last.

But what would I know... I'm only the consumer

I am furious with the service I've received from EA help.
My account was deregistered because I had not used it for over a year. All I get is a response that the issue is being investigated.
Actual email below sent

Thank you for contacting EA help *******

EA games took it upon themselves to delete my account because I hadn't logged in for a few years while I was without a computer. I remember my logins and password, but they require you reset password. Unfortunately the email account I originally signed up with is no longer active and cannot be recovered, so there's no way to reset password through my email address even though I did know my old password.

Instead of offering other ways to recover the account, such as verifying through phone number, security questions, etc. they just delete your account and tell you to repurchase their games under a new account. Talk about corporate greed. I had hundreds of dollars worth of games under my old account. "Just buy them again!" is the only solution this money grubbing company can come up with.

Bought BF3 three years ago. The game seems to need some patch to work (it now cannot connect to the internet while clearly the rest of the computer can.) They told me (after just ending the chat without reason 3 times) that maybe the "game studio" guys would email me, but probably not. That is now 3 weeks ago. I waited patiently but now I just HAVE to write this review, only to discharge my anger somewhere. EA games is EVIL. EA games is HORRIBLE. EA games is RIPPING OFF PEOPLE. EA games is the worst gaming company in the world, wait, in the universe! F*ck 'em, f*ck 'em in their stupid faces.I hope they all die from c*ck and c*nt rot in that sh*thole.

After playing their stupid games for more than 20 years, I get a random "verification" for an email that doesn't exist anymore. It hasn't existed for more than a decade. I'm completely locked out of playing any EA game. And of course there is no help whatsoever in resolving this. I guess it's my fault for continuing to spend money in a company that clearly does not give a damn. I've learned my lesson. $#*! this stupid company and every single person that works there.
