Green Light Financial Services sells reverse mortgages. I thought a reverse mortgage might make sense for me to get a little more money for retirement, but after reading more about it I realized that the fees are high and there are problems if you are for any reason forced to leave your home. I have concluded that reverse mortgages should really only be a last resort when you cannot get money from any other sources. The cost of the money is so expensive I do not think it is mostly worth it.
I looked into one of these reverse mortgages for my mom and dad and did not like what I found. The fees are out of this world.
