“DON'T LEAVE YOUR PHONE IN A LYFT DRIVER'S CAR!”

Mary Rose L.
10/21/22

WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER! Short version of this harrowing ordeal: After hours upon hours upon hours of trying to contact Lyft's customer service (customer service-that's a joke!) to arrange to get my phone back, my mom and I had to resort to driving to the Lyft driver's house which is scary and dangerous for both the rider and driver. Thank goodness my mom has an iPhone and I share my location with her. So we got to the driver's house, which needless to say she was not happy to say the least! I wouldn't be either. But we quickly eased her fears that we were not psychos and just wanted to get my phone out of her car. As a good faith gesture, I handed her a $40 tip! Believe me, had it gotten ugly, we were prepared to contact law enforcement. Bottom line: Lyft gotta do better with their so called "Lost and Found"! In today's world, keeping your drivers safe with all the technology out there should be a #1 priority. Obviously, it is not... So sad!
