"If you're looking for a guaranteed awful experience, then HostSailor web hosting company is the perfect choice for you. Frankly, I have never seen such a blatant disregard for privacy as I have witnessed with this company. First and foremost, there is absolutely no concern for privacy here. From the very first day of using their services, there was a continuous problem of leaking my personal data. Regardless of the precautions I took, every time I logged into my account, there were new threats to my privacy, as if they were sharing my information with the world mercilessly. Secondly, it seems that customer service at HostSailor is severely lacking. There was no effective response to the complaints I lodged regarding privacy issues. When I reached out to them, I was completely ignored, as if they consider privacy issues something that can be brushed aside. Lastly, in terms of performance, the service was unbelievably poor. There were long periods of downtime without prior warning, which negatively impacted my website and business overall. In summary, if you care about your privacy and the stability of your online presence, I strongly advise against HostSailor. They do not respect privacy, they do not provide good customer service, and they fail to deliver reliable performance."

I am using hostsailor service and happy with it. Everything is smooth! Also I love the flexibility of prices and tariffs. Yeah in the beginning it asks a lot of information from you like address and phone number but it's all safe and does it job well! And what important is that the support is always there! Thank you very much!

I used HostSailor's services to host my website based on some recommendations I read online. Unfortunately, my experience with them was unsatisfactory, and here are some reasons why I am writing this negative review:

Poor Customer Support: One of the biggest problems I faced with HostSailor was their customer support. The responses were slow and unhelpful. I had to wait for hours, sometimes even days, to get a response to simple inquiries, and often the answers were unclear or useless.

Frequent Service Interruptions: My website experienced several unexplained outages during the hosting period. This was extremely frustrating as it negatively impacted the user experience and the site's performance on search engines. When I contacted technical support for an explanation or solution, the answers were always insufficient.

Slow Loading Speeds: I noticed that the website's loading speed was very slow compared to other hosting companies I have used in the past. This slowness affected user experience and increased the bounce rate on the site.

Billing Issues: I encountered billing issues, where additional amounts were deducted from my account without clear explanation. When I tried to recover the overcharged amounts, I had a hard time communicating with the accounts department and resolving the issue.

Unintuitive User Interface: Their control panel is not user-friendly. It took me a long time to understand how to manage the various resources and services, and I couldn't find any helpful guides or clear support on the site.

In short, my experience with HostSailor was very disappointing and negatively affected my website overall. I do not recommend this company to anyone looking for reliable and fast hosting with effective customer support. There are many other companies in the market that offer much better services.

Trash, not hosting. I used their services for several years. But the last six months have become hell. They have a lot of overselling. They regularly fall all the infrastructure. Even their own site crashes. In these periods it is impossible to create flows. They turn off the VPS for false reasons, without evidence, without notice. Support takes a very long time. Support is not competent.

They provide VPS servers at an unbeatable price. I'm using their server for 3 months. Unlike some cheap VPS providers, their support is also active. So far happy.

It's a good service for a really good price.
Their support always responds quickly.
I recently upgraded my VPS hosting plan and after the payment in less than 1 hour, my new plan was already active.

However, at first when I wanted to upgrade my plan, they offered me some discounts and I opened a sales ticket just to inquire about the opportunities. I clearly wrote in the message (also in the subject line): upgrade my plan. And after the third message, they told me that it's only possible to use discounts if I order a new plan. It should have been more efficient if they would just say me this information in the beginning.

But overall I'm really satisfied with the service.

I am a network researcher, the server is very good, very strong performance, the current experience is not bad, it is said that this can open ip forged features, I am contacting the staff opened, hoping to get good support, if it is easy to use, I would recommend my friend to buy it. In addition, the time for the dedicated server to be on the shelf is very fast. It would be better if the background panel can provide a customized system image.

I am hosting my sites on hostsailor from last 4 months. One day, I received a mail from cloudflare that there is a phishing url on my site, I logged in to cpanel to check it and found that there were lot of suspicious files in my directory. I don't know where these files come from. May be hosting was hacked or there may be a security breach in their server. I deleted all the suspicious files but some files were re-appearing again and again even after deleting them. So, I contacted their support team and asked to delete those irritating files and they deleted them successfully. But the very next day, they suspended my account due to phishing url. I contacted their support staff immediately and explained them very clearly that I never uploaded such phishing files. They asked me to contact at *******@hostsailor.com. I sent an email to *******@hostsailor.com explaining about the whole issue. Now, more than 4 days have passed but they are not replying nor restoring my suspended account. My company site is down and I am unable to receive business emails. I again contacted their support team that I am not getting any reply from *******@hostsailor.com. I also asked them to send me the backup of my website, so that I can host them on some other host, but they refused by citing the reason that They can not restore the suspended account and send backup of the files as matter relates to abuse department. Now, the problem is that abuse department is not replying and my company website is down from last 4 days and files are stuck with their hosting. So, it is not a reliable hosting and they are so unresponsive.

-ToS 14 days refund policy is a lie
-VPS are shut down without your permission
-You're immediately forced to purchase upgrade, because they limit your VPS due to "excessive CPU usage"
-Dashboard information is deliberately misleading (including bandwidth usage)
-Customer support is limited to "please send email to %differentdepartment%"
Purchase at your own risk.

1 thing I like from the hostsailor is, they quickly answered all my complaints

Although there are a few technicians who are less responsive but for the whole their service I am quite satisfied with their performance

Scam company. It treats their customers like a garbage.
On May 1st in the evening I ordered a VPS.
In the morning on May 3d I got a service suspention notification. Reason: "Hosting Child Porn". But I didn't hosted any porn on my server! Then began a fully stupid and futile conversation with support and abuse department. All my afforts to prove my innocence ended in failure. Support could do nothing and always refered to abuse deparment. I sent three letters to the abuse department:
3 May evening. Me: explain to me suspension reason. Abuse department: ignored my message.
4 May morning. Me: request for fully abuse report. Abuse department: fake and inadequate response. (see below).
4 May. Me: this porn site is not on IP of my server. Provide me with full abuse report. Abuse department: ignored my message.
Today 5May, server is still banned. Abuse department doesn't respond.

The most wonderful was the answer of the abuse department. THE FIRST: they just threw me a link to some porn site and they said that this site had the IP adress of my server. But it is not true. This site is hosted at another IP, not on my server! THE SECOND: they noted that the abuse report was sent before 30-4-2018. But on 30 April my server didn't exist yet! I ordered it on the 1 of May in the evening. It's really incomprehensible.

My conclusion: anytime this hoster can just rip-off you and you loose your money and data. They don't care about their reputation.

Due to the nature of this matter, our abuse team do not take chances on such cases and therefore must take immediate action, at this moment after further investigation we did receive an abuse report from a Dutch authority on the 2nd of May 2018 which was a valid date and matched your account, therefore our team had to shutdown the access to the service until the investigation is over, at this moment I suggest you speak to our team as they have been trying to contact you.

I did a lot of errors when i was running VPSs &@ billing. Support was very active and completely solved all this errors.
