ALL BULBS TO BE FITTED BY QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN Apparently made.com customers are incapable and have money to waste. We bought 2 globe light fittings. Fitted the bulbs but 1 was the wrong colour. Tried to remove it, it is stuck. Asked for help and that is what we were told! All the other bulbs can be removed and replaced. Will not be using made.com again

MADE. COM refused to collect this broken item and therefore refused to refund it.

Blamed the refusal to collect the item on the CORONAVIRUS.

Taking advantage of the CORONAVIRUS to refuse returns and refunds.

This is my MADE story and why I will NEVER order from them again. After ordering a new bed for my daughter, we received only 1 out of 2 packages. Trying to get help via their telephone service was impossible. I wasted more than 2 hours of my life over 4 phones call, but no one even picked up the phone. Then I tried emailing. Finally, after 3 WEEKS of emailing, I am told that the second package will arrive in 8 to 10 WEEKS. Incredibly bad service and I will never order from MADE again.

DO NOT BUY FROM MADE.COM! Shoddy products and shoddy customer service.

Bought the Margot chaise longue but it very quickly (within 2 months) became very uncomfortable, I rarely used the chaise as I have other daily use sofas and I treated it more as an occasion chair. I spent 3 months arguing with Made.com about its poor quality, the padding had clearly deflated and I could feel the frame beneath me. Highly uncomfortable.

They sent two "independent" Home Serve engineers who both agreed with me that it was very poor quality, my TK Maxx sofa I bought 6 years ago is better! But neither of these agents wrote what they had told me into their reports, just said no technical fault.

I took my complaint to the Furniture Ombudsman (a body that retailers like Made.com have to pay to be part of... hmmm... of course they will side with people like me who pay them nothing over their paying members, right!?). They also sided with Made.com (what a surprise!), saying that there was no technical fault. I never argued that there was, I consistently accepted that there is no technical fault, my issue was with how poor the quality was. Around 15-20 friends and family members have sat on it and been shocked at the poor quality.

Will never buy from Made.com again.

Anyone thinking of buying a sofa from Made.com I would seriously urge you to reconsider. I wish we had done more research and read some reviews before we did. A very expensive mistake.

We decided to change our 10 year old (DFS) sofas for some brighter ones. The DFS sofas were still in full working order even after a decade of use.

We order online a Karson two-seater and three-seater sofa, both in marine green velvet. Both were delivered in June.

In September we noticed both sofas starting to sag. Which got progressively worse to the point it is now uncomfortable to sit on those sides. We complained and they sent out Homeserve to check it... on arrival the guy looked under the sofa and said the 'springs' are intact and it is not a manufactures fault!? I ask him to sit on the sofa to understand the full extent of the issue - he said he could see. But as the springs are fine the problem - IS THE WAY WE SIT ON THE SOFAS!

That would have been funny but he wasn't joking. Our previous sofas of 10 yrs never had an issue. These ones made by Made.com were a dud after less than 6 months.

So the report back from Homeserve were due to wear and tear? I'm at a lost how we could have sat on both sofas wrong.

If anyone is in any doubt I will happily take pics of the sub standard sofas we bought.

As the title says do not by anything from Made.com. We did and regret it every day. DO NOT make the same mistake.

Responding to a damning article on econsultancy.com headed: Made.com: a case study of customer service hell?' Made's then CEO pledge[d] to greatly improve service levels'. The article was published in 2012. Seven years later, every review site, with the mysterious exception of Trustpilot, indicates how far short he fell of that ambition. The experiences recounted on these sites closely match my own, with reports of delays, empty promises, lame excuses (warehouse issues being a favourite) and non-existent customer support, (though you can be assured of bringing them crawling out from under their stone with their mealy-mouthed platitudes by posting a critical review on Trustpilot). After a four-week wait for the item I'd ordered to reach their distribution centre, it spent the next three weeks supposedly being prepared for dispatch'. When I chased this, I was fobbed off with an obviously copied-and-pasted reply offering a new dispatch schedule. Three subsequent emails were simply ignored, and the estimated date for my order's dispatch remains unchanged 12 days after its expiry. I'm now in the process of securing the return of my money for services not rendered. Hilariously, in a 2017 interview with The Guardian', Made's founder stated his ambition for the company to be the new Ikea'. Well, we can all dream. Meanwhile they must content themselves with being the dotcom Acorn Antiques.

The website looks very professional and the items very beautiful due to quality of the photography and Photoshop Retouche. Once you get the items you see that is a leg of quality and fabric and colors.
I ordered a rug and mugs. The monks were broken due to bad packaging and the rug looked nothing like it's item info. Lost four hundred euros.

I would never use this company again the quality is not great but the customer care is even worse. I will chalk that down to experience and will never use again. Once I have eventually got them to pick up the really poor product.

Tip for consumers:
Aviod using there are many better furniture supplier out there I went to Dwelll who were in a different league. So much better customer care and better value for money.
