MotionRC is a scam company that will rip you off if you let them. I purchased an expensive scale helicopter kit. The kit had parts that were missing, parts that were the wrong size and FINALLY the mechanical design was so bad I ended up having to machine my own parts since off the shelf parts were not available for their kludge helicopter kit. I contacted MotionRC and was told to pound sand.

Since MotionRC is blaming and naming me for every negative review they receive now I'm giving a item by item response to MotionRC's claims in their reply (Note that MotionRC changes their replies to suit their story often):

"Fred asked Motion RC for a full refund years after his purchase because he changed his mind and decided the helicopter kit was too difficult for him to build. We explained our return policy is 30 days"

I asked that MotionRC send me the correct parts for the knockoff/counterfeit Align 600 kit and MotionRC refused. I was then told by "Ed" (MotionRC Heli support guy) that the totally f up'd kit I received was one of many they received AND SOLD and Ed knew exactly which parts were either wrong or missing.

"We also offered to build the helicopter for Fred for free but Fred did not want to take us up on that either."

This is actually one of the semi factual parts of MotionRC's reply. I spoke with Ed and the story kept on changing to I pay for the build, then MotionRC pays for the build. Hmmm? Then Ed tells me to send EVERYTHING to him across the other side of the country at MY expense. That included my Spectrum DX20 TX/RX, Bavarian Gyro, all electronics and mechanics. Hmmm? If you're going to simply supply the correct parts and assemble the mechanics why do you need $3000 worth of my stuff? I had also heard that Ed did this for another guy and the tail drive shaft snapped shortly into the first flight because of the kludge design and Ed's assembly. I felt that all of my stuff was fixing to be held hostage and I declined their offer and bought over $250 worth of correct parts, redesigned the kludge knockoff and machined parts that were not available off the shelf. I assembled the helicopter, test flew it and did the detailing. The Huey is still flying today. To see a short video showing some of the kludge mechanics and problems simply Google: " Friends don't let friends buy from MotionRC!" The video is 3 minutes long.

MotionRC KNEW that these kits were defective and yet MotionRC CONTINUED to sell them! Their motto is to collect the money, get the crap out the door and then blame everything on the customer.

What kind of company will plant cookies in your browser that disable their chat support box, block your phone number and then denigrate your character over and over on the net? What kind of company dissociates their Google reviews from their.com url in order that all of their less than stellar Google reviews are no longer visible and no additional reviews can be written? What kind of company puts up fake reviews on their own product pages? Just look and see if you can find ANYTHING on their website that doesn't have less than 4.7 stars. What kind of company puts up hundreds of fake reviews of their company EVERYWHERE? BBB, Trustpilot, etc, etc... The answer to all of these questions is simple: MotionRC is the kind of company YOU DON'T WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH!

My guess is that MotionRC is going to end up in the same rubbish bin as Tower Hobbies and other online retailers that continued to trash their customers. The RC market is a niche market and there are only so many people you can abuse until you run out of suckers!

All I want from MotionRC is to own up to their crap and do what's right... I'm still waiting...

Tip for consumers:
Stay away from these Con Artists...

I have bought a professional edition panzer 4 f2. Arrived undamaged, nothing was missing. Wanted to upgrade it with more stuff to put on it, but many acsessory parts are out of stock. That is the only problem with motion rc, I think.
