Opentable.co.uk

In your own city, Opentable can be OK... you know the neighborhood, so it is easy to pass by restaurants that are farther than you're willing to travel. And, you know most of the restaurants, so it is an easy way to make a reservation, even grab a reservation while you look further since you can cancel one for another at the end of the session. But, if you're going to a city where you're not very familiar with the neighborhoods or the restaurants, you waste SO much time. Here is what Opentable is lacking.
1) You can't specify restaurants with x distance from your hotel.
2) You get a choice of neighborhoods, but some are 50 miles from your location. Opentable does not provide you with a map of neighborhoods to allow you to get a quick overview and choose the neighborhoods you want
3) Choose restaurants serving particular style of food. Their sorting is a joke.
4) You want a reservation at 7 pm. Why do I need to see a restaurant that has no reservations within 2 hours of that time... or, why not set the time window you'll accept?

A modern software program could have these features. Come on, Opentable, get with it!
