This lab service was recommended to me by a local hospital in Albuquerque where I was to have surgery. A Covid 19 PCR test was required 5 days before surgery. After contacting PCNM several weeks ahead of my test to plan when and where I was to give my sample for the test, I then contacted them a week ahead to confirm an appointment (which they had promised I could get). However they said no appointment was necessary but I couldn't come on a Saturday that they previously said would be a good time. So I planned on a Friday. Then then they changed the time I could arrive first thing in the morning and then later said they weren't open on Friday after all, but I could get the test the following Monday. The time required to have my lab results was getting very tight but they said they would get them to me a day or two before my surgery. Finally I went on the Monday and no one was present at their mobile collection location! When I called them, they said, "Oh sorry, we won't be there until tomorrow"! Really? They didn't even bother to let me know after I had texted and talked to them about arrangements for nearly a week.
Desperate, I made an appointment at my local Walgreens who collected my sample that afternoon to be processed by Lab Corp. I had my results in less than 30 hours! I would never recommend PCNM unless you don't mind them changing their schedule every time you talk to them about when and where you can give them your sample and then not show up anyway. If you're on a time line for work requirement or surgery, forget PCNM for timely (if any) lab results!
