“I deleted their software to change to another, and...”

I deleted their software to change to another, and this created a virus that prevented me from doing this. I had to buy their software ($40) and then subscribe for a year to an "affiliated" service to remove the virus. Cost of that was $144. Alos they advertise free tech support but I have never been able to contact them
