I would highly recommend Reitmans at Devonshire Mall for their outstanding service. The manager and staff were amazing and went above and beyond to assist us with our spring shopping needs. They even put together outfits for my daughter, helping her look amazing. The selection of clothing is great and the customer service is exceptional. Thank you ladies at Devonshire mall Windsor! Cheers!
The staff judges costumer, Brockville manager is the worst, superficial and unkind, I went to exchange a product and I was ignored, no hello, how can I help you, goodbye, merry Christmas or happy holidays, nothing, I will never go back there again, I'm sorry, but if you don't like your job/life don't work with the public, got in touch with head office and I wonder how they'll react to complaints.

Ordered several items around nye, waited over a week of business days to see it shipped out, complained to support, order was processed immediately thereafter and a third of the items ended up cancelled due to no stock. How? How do you oversell an item? Isn't that what inventory is for? If I buy a unit that unit better be available to ship. Why did I get shafted? Wth? I'm so angry. Never had problems before, they need to get their stock and ecommerce in order.
I ordered another pair of jeans - a different cut, but the same sized as a previous order. When they finally came they didn't fit (were too big).
The store would exchange them for a larger size or not take them back, because the date was more than 30 days after order. But the order shipment was received late - possibly because of late shipping or caused by freight disruptions in BC caused by the massive flooding. Due to this delay the store would not take them back. I even phoned their customer service line, with no success.
I will not be ordered any further items from Reitmans - TERRIBLE customer service.
Tip for consumers:
don't buy anything from Reitmans unless you try it on first - and are in a position to take it back within 30 days from Purchase.

So when you purchase something online from Reitmans, you pay shirt price, you pay taxes and then on top of that you pay shipping and handling. But when you decided to return the item only price and taxes be fully returned but shipping and handling won't...? This is utterly so stupid a refund means a full refund not partial that means lesson learned not to shop from Reitmans online as you might spend 7 bucks extra but won't get 7 bucks when u return the item. Honestly not happy with my purchase...
Tip for consumers:
Beware....as you will not get a full refund back

Every Saturday a group of friends and myself used to meet up at the mall in limeridge. Most of out shopping was done at Reitmans. We used to spend a small fortune there, until a few years ago when they changed. We spoke to an employee who said they have started catering for younger people. Well to our surprise it looked like it leaned more to older people. We are very disappointed with the outdated styles and we have been taking our business elsewhere. I spoke to a few people who share our views.
These guys are fraud. I placed an order online, never received a package and contacted them so many times. No refund nothing. Never ever going to buy from them again.
I purchased an item online and when it arrived it was completely different than the picture shown on their website. I returned the item and wanted to write a review to let others know of the problem that occurred so they knew that the item shown was not the same as I received. However, after many attempts at trying to review the item, (the reply was always an error has occurred) I am still not able to review the item... very disappointed!
I ordered a pair of jeans online which were $54.90 but with a discount code of $10.98 coupon, I paid $43.92 plus shipping & taxes. Well I received the jeans which had a price tag on them of $54.90 with an orange sale sticker on top of $19.99? I understand they were obviously on sale and apparently not when I purchased them however how tacky is it to send them with this sale price on them.
To make matters worse, I emailed them to let them know how tacky this was expecting I would get an apology and what I got instead was an email asking me to send the info and I have 3 days to do it. I did it in minutes of reading the email. I also included pics of my purchase receipt and a picture of the tag which was a bit blurry but when I made it larger, you could totally see the price and the bright orange sticker over top of it with the $19.99 on it. Well after returning the info "Customer Service" requested along with pictures, I received another email the following day "Thank you for contacting us and for sharing those pictures.
In regards to your inquiry, please note that according to the forwarded pictures, the price seen on the tag is at $54.90. Could you please provide us a clear picture of the tag you mentioned showing the item at $19.99? This would help us assist you better. Thank you for your consideration and patience.
To which I responded "Sorry, I knew it was a bit blurry but was able to increase the size to see it. I hope you can see the orange sticker better in this pic.
Yes, I can also see the price tag with $54.90 on it along with the bright orange $19.99 on top of that price? Maybe you have a Supervisor that would be better to deal with this since you should be apologizing for such a tacky incident rather than going back & forth in emails?
Please have a Supervisor contact me with any further correspondence because your Customer service skills appear to be lacking.
The whole point was to let them know what happened as it's rather tacky but instead of an apology and a thanks for letting us know so we can look into this and ensure it doesn't continue to happen, I got emails like it was a game? I guess Customer Service is a thing of the past!
I used to get all of my pants and tops for years at Reitmans. I'd spend a small fortune on my dress pants and tops. Guess they are going for trendy and tight fitting over the business class they used to sell to. Over the last 4 or 5 years I haven't found one decent top like I used to get that were button up and could wear loose over the pants. Definitely no longer my go to store.
The Reitmans group has had the monopoly on plus size clothing in Canada since before I was a teenager and, although the Additionelle brand showed some promise towards the delivery of (albeit expensive) more up-to-date styles and decent customer service/support, all stores were closed in the late 2010's and (nearly) all shopping was pushed online and eventually re-absorbed into the Pennington brand of the Reitman group (as it was when I was a teenager).
Now, if you order online, if your items aren't in stock THE DAY you order, they will quietly cancel your order and not let you know. If you dare to reach out to ask what's going on, you'll get the cancellation email of your order, your payment method will then be charged (only to be refunded 3 days later).
Contacting their chat support will lead to getting a price match on your old order but only if you order the items again and supply them with both the old and new order numbers. Essentially, you're told to do this entire process for them and that they have no ability to re-process the order even if all items are in stock as of today.
Plus sized individuals already have issues shopping online, this is made none-easier by the Reitman group who clearly don't even pretend to care about their clients because they know we have no other options to turn to locally.
If you want to get price-gouged and told to fix it yourself with a little pixie dust, shop here!
Do better, Reitman Group.
I have been buying from Reitmans for over 50 years, they fit me and were reasonably priced. I have ordered on line several times and had no problem, clothes are lovely. I have just found out that they use slave labour factories in China and child labour in Cambodia. So that ends my long time love affair with this company. I will be now shopping at ethically sourced clothing stores, even if it means I pay a lot more.

I sent to purchase some items for my daughter; The associate was rude from the beginning. Upon bringing the items to the till and telling her they were tax exempt (for my 11 year old) she took over half and hour ringing in each item 8 items only thank god and was snippy and rude the whole time, never said thank you, goodbye, offer a bag or tell about returns. On top of it I had to sign 8 separate receipts because she didn't know what she was doing. She never offered help in the dressing room, and at the till she was an absolute bag. I will not be back to Prince George BC Reitments after my gift card is done. I will tell my husband to NEVER buy a gift card for this store again.
Reitmana is improving with trends. I would give them 5 stars if they improved their trends a bit more ans have better option for plus size. Now that Additionelle is closed I'm hoping reitmans. Pick up.
Very poor and disgusting service by the manager verdana, should not have such manager in this business.
I was in your location in Waterloo and the one girl was very friendly and helpful, great customer service.
When I got to the cash, the young girl was rude and condescending. I made a comment about the size of the bag given as I didn't want my sweater to be wrinkled after the first lovely lady steamed if for me. In a most disrespectful tone the young girl at cash replied "well, we wouldn't want that now would we"! Anyone would have caught her tone.
Then my husband was looking at clothes on a rack, where she rudely said "those are for other customers" and I replied "yes, we see the sign, we were just looking at the lovely colors"...upon our exit she said BYYYEEEEE. I will never shop at this store again and only wished that I asked for her name. It's a great store, but staff such as I encountered on June 5,2023 should not be tolerated. She is in a customer service industry and I was neither agressive or rude, just simply made a comment about the bag size and looked at clothing on a rack. The salesperson # on my receipt is ******* which is probably useless to identify the rude individual.
I returned a pair of slippers today. I originally paid $19.72, $5.12 of that was from the balance left on an old gift card. The young girl behind the counter had to go to the back to ask for direction to give me my refund 2 times. There were only 2 staff in the store and about 12 customers. There was quite a line up and finally the other staff member came to the front. Because neither of the staff listened to my final directions I ended up with a gift card for $19.72. Who would ever give a gift card for that amount. I was very angry to say the least. There is always a lack of staff and a lack of customer service in this store. That is why I usually don't shop there.
Placed an order for 18 items...received items, 1 and 2 at a time in different parcels. The remaining 8 items have been received and showing to not leaving Quebec with an undeliverable attached to it as of Jan 25... My frustrations with trying to reach both Canada Post and reitmans to solve this issue has been frustrating. Today I finally find a customer service number and call reitmans to forward Information from Canada Post. I have now been asked to wait another 10 days for them to look into this matter. Asked for the remaining items to just be refunded and am told that is not an option. So I have paid for items that I am most likely never going to receive. Thanks for your superb customer service Reitmans! Will be sure to cross them off my list of store to shop from both in store and online

Think twice before purchasing online from this company
I went to the store in Sudbury, Ontario on May 12th at 3pm, to return an online purchase. I had a copy of a barcode I printed from reitmans.com, which instructed me to show it to the cashier.
The store clerk was rude.
She dismissed the bar code document I brought. Told me she had never seen it and told me to take it up with corporate when I questioned why the online return instructions were a surprise to her. She refused to give me her name and wore no name tag.
When she finally processed my return, after I had to scour my phone for an email to give the date of purchase and order number, she refused to send the payment to my PayPal account. She kept asking me what card the PayPal account was "attached to". When I answered "a bank account" for the 5th time, she started to cry that I was rude, and she went to get her manager and made a huge fuss.
1. She is extremely incompetent and unprofessional and clearly unhappy in her job and with corporate
2. My PayPal is attached to a bank account for which I do not have a card, your website states my return goes to my method of payment
3. Why does the store staff not know how to return an item bought online? She was very quick to spit out "complain to corporate".
If OldNavy can reimburse a paypal account, as can Walmart, so can you.

I made an order online on Sept 15,2023. The full order amounted to $48.84. I was charged $7.95 shipping. I was short the required $49 purchase to receive free shipping. I was 16 cents short on my order to receive free shipping thinking the shipping was free. I made a call requesting a credit for the $7.95 shipping charge. I did explain that I thought it petty of the company to have charged me this. I had just made a purchase of $298.22 on Sept. 23. Because I was refused the credit I asked for I will
Return all of the purchases I made this month. I don't need anything bad enough to keep the merchandise after being treated this way.
DO NOT PLACE AN ON LINE ORDER. I've been an instore shopper for years with no problem. Due to COVID place an online order June 6,2020, waited one month for delivery. Returned one of three items July 2,2020. We are approaching end of September 2020 AND STILL NO CREDIT. Phone lines no longer working due to COVID. I've sent several e-mails no response. Will never place an online order with Reitmans again and will never go into a Reitmans store again. I understand times are difficult but this is absolutely terrible customer service. I've returned items bought in the States with no issues whatsoever. Think twice before placing an order!
I Have always been an avid Reitmans shopper but recently had an experience that will likely be my last shop at their store. I ordered matching pajamas for 9 girls for an event. I ordered and paid for everything correctly and unfortunately one item was missed. I quickly messaged the customer service who got back to me within one day saying they'd do an investigation. At this point it was one week until the event. I called customer support and was told, I would get a tracking number for the item that day. Nothing came. I called the next day and was told that they needed to investigate including checking cameras and weigh scales to prove that I wasn't lying. To be clear, I was asking for one 20 dollar item that I had paid for in a $410 order.
After two more phone calls and multiple emails, the item arrived 3 days after the event. I was told that I was welcome to retuned the item.
Poor service in a situation that easily could have been remedied by either just trusting me or by at least offering to discount the item as it was no longer useful to me. Unacceptable service.
Tip for consumers:
Don’t expect the customer service reps to do anything but provide politically correct bogus.

I love shopping at reitmans in store.
My online experience was little to be desired though and i wouldnt do it again!
I entered an additional coupon code and it accepted it come to find out they withdrew the amount of the charge prior to coupon. You have 48 hours to despute a charge, within my time line i did this via email as their line was to I busy to get through. Then i get an email saying issue resolved no explination, no difference refunded, so i make the dreaded call 20 minutes on hold, to be told someone is working on my case, and I should recieve a call that day, due to my account being notated and by him intersepting would just further confuse things. Not happy i disconnect the call.
I never recieved a call re my dispute nor was I credited back a refund. Customer service for online is absolutely horrible! Dont do it the experience is anything but easy or professional.
I used a prepaid Mastercard for online shopping. I have done this for years as it is more secure than taking the chance to use my personal credit card. I ordered 3 times in 2 years. The dirst time she insisted I had to refund on a store gift card and I agreed. Big mistake as it took so long to use up the card because their clothes are oversized and not as advertised. Last week I ordered 2 separate orders using the same prepaid card. Over 100 for 5 sale items. I had to return every single item because large fit like a size 18. The sales clerk at the Young and Sheppard store told me I had to return the items to a Reitmans Gift card and I said NO. I do not want to shop at Reaitmans again. I want a refund to the prepaid gift card. She argued with me that it would not go through and that they were not responsible if I did not get a refund. ( I have done a refund on various prepaid cards many times with no issue)
I kept telling her I never had an issue before and she kept trying to push the Reitmans gift card for my 100. Refund. I refused many times. She then tried to get me to look around the store to buy something. No again. She put it through and it said accepted. I said look accepted and that was the end of the conversation. She simply dismissed me and went back to talking to her coworker.
Do these women get commissions for sales? Or are they just to dumb to put a refund through on a prepaid card? It was not a plesant experience and I will not be back.
Tip for consumers:
The clothes are very odd sized. I bought a 34 waist Mom jean and it was at least a size 18 or 20. I wear 34 waist and am a size 12/14.
The top was advertised as large which is my size fit like a night gown and did not look like the photos.
The dress was lined and good quality but again false advertisement as far as fit. The bust was so big a woman with size z breasts would have fit a size large.
The 2 knit sweaters were rough and big.
