A Roleplay Graveyard
October 19, 2025
Updated review

If you're looking for genuine, story-driven roleplay, this site will likely disappoint you. It feels more like a relic of mid-2000s social media—crowded with attention-seeking users and repetitive, cookie-cutter profiles using actor and actress photos. It often feels like the same handful of people are just creating hundreds of accounts, all with the same tone, writing style, and recycled drama. Many users vanish after a week or lurk in the status feed stirring up petty conflicts. Promises to reply or roleplay usually go unfulfilled, replaced by constant chatter and self-promotion. Despite its supposed "Christian" theme, the site is anything but wholesome. The community is overrun with fetish-driven writing, sexual content, and a strange number of suspiciously similar female profiles—many of which seem fake or managed by the same individuals. The overall environment feels hollow, built on attention rather than creativity. If you're serious about storytelling or meaningful interaction, you'll find this site frustrating, repetitive, and ultimately not worth your time.

Where Roleplay Goes to Die
June 19, 2025
Previous review

Despite what the name might lead you to believe, this is not a role-playing site. It's more like a glorified daycare for emotionally stunted adults who treat the platform as a stage for petty drama, attention-seeking, and ego boosts. The overwhelming similarity in user behavior is telling—chances are, multiple profiles are run by the same small group of people recycling the same tired antics. Expect a flood of profiles using the same few face claims—particularly Nina Dobrev, who apparently has more doppelgängers here than in The Vampire Diaries. Variety? Forget it. Originality? Non-existent. It's a popularity contest disguised as a writing community. Communication is practically a myth. Unless you're content with empty banter in public comment sections, don't hold your breath for a meaningful message. DMs are a graveyard—you might get a token reply to your greeting if you're lucky. Call someone out for ignoring you, and you'll get the usual laundry list of excuses, even as they continue liking posts, replying to comments, and clearly staying active. The irony? Some even claim it'll take two weeks to respond—while logging in daily. It's theater, and not the good kind. This place is basically a collection hub for "friends" no one actually talks to. People collect connections like trading cards, but act like mimes when you message them. If you're expecting mature adults ready to write, think again. You'll find grown people with the emotional intelligence of middle schoolers clinging to this site for validation they can't find in real life. And if by some miracle you do find someone willing to write, don't celebrate just yet. The quality is abysmal. Most of the guys here are overgrown teenagers trapped in virgin brains, eager to derail every scene into some bizarre sex fantasy. If you're looking for actual storytelling or creativity, your odds are slim to none. All in all, if you join this site, your account will sit untouched, your inbox will gather dust, and your time will be wasted. It's not a writing community—it's a digital echo chamber for narcissists and fantasists pretending they're authors. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.

2025 update.
July 3, 2025
Updated review

So, I'm not going to turn around the topic, this site remains very dangerous. Not only for minors but all innocent people, and I can tell you that for me it was hell. I talked about pedos, yes, this site has a lot of them. I was stalked by a very strange woman who made vile advances to my character in my DMs, I blocked her, she deleted her account and re-created her account with a new character, she did it to me again, I reported it, no answers, I blocked her, she deleted her account AGAIN! She fed me so much that I reminded her that I am NOT attracted to women, that if she continues, I will report it to a commissariat, I did it but they didn't help me, and it is "normal" for a woman to do this... Yes, stalked a roleplayer, did not accept the rejection, continues her madness as if everything is fine! It's NOT fine, I did everything by myself, and in the end, it was me who deleted my account, besides, the "friends" didn't help me at all, on the other hand, as soon as a "queen" complains about her job, EVERYONE supports her, what is this discrimination? Ah also! One, two or three Batman roleplayers misbehaved, according to their logic, it also concerns the Batman RPers who have done nothing wrong and are being dragged as guilty by people with whom they have never interacted with. Stalkers, discriminations, p3dophilia, hypocrisy, doxxing, harassment, people who complains about their jobs on the stream... How can this site still exist in 2025? I do not see a single thing that is positive, because such thing doesn't exist. If you sex repulsed or a minor, do not join it, the userbase can't take no as an answer.

That site contains all the people you will possibly refuse to hang with in real--life,
The perverts, the drama-seekers, the pedophiles.

A lot comes from Tumblr and spend so many times catering at what an "hate-blog" said about them, instead of ignoring the whole matter.

Suddenly, when i suggested they should learn to roleplay, because their behavior is something that shouldn't exist, i am worse than Hitler.

Those "adults" are easily comparable to children who were never educated properly. Constant need for attention, toxicity, perversion.

They use the exact SAME faceclaims, you must be popular, no room for the rest, no spotlight.

It's all they do, and it's pathetic.

Avoid the site at all costs.

Do not let your children using it too.

A dramatic website
September 13, 2024

This site is full of drama and guys pretending to be girls with profile pictures showing their asses. No one actually roleplays. Just people trying to inflate their friends list because they don't have any in real life. It's always the same playbys. The girls are always lesbian and bisexual, so that means they're most likely guys with a lesbian fetish. Do not go to this site. It's also full of men trying to get laid and fulfill their fantasies.

Waste of Time
December 1, 2023

What's up with this site and its users? They create profiles, don't do much, and then vanish. Is everyone so bored that they make roleplay profiles for no reason? If you're expecting serious roleplay here, forget it because most people are just messing around and wasting time.

Let me give you an example: about six months ago, a user said they wanted to roleplay, but then they went silent and left the next day. Now, this same person came back with a second profile, same character and name, claiming they wanted to roleplay again. But guess what? They did the same thing, disappearing after one day. It's not just them; I've seen it with others too. It's strange – creating the same profile repeatedly with the same name and layout. Apparently, having 10 profiles of the same character is a thing here.

This site is terrible for roleplaying. You might get responses to your greetings, but try planning an RP, and people agree but never follow through. Also, be ready for everyone to claim real-life issues as an excuse for not responding – it's a common theme here. I genuinely don't get why people stick around because not much happens. It seems like it's mainly for immature folks with a lot of drama they want to bring into other people's lives.

I've been on and off of the site for years. I've managed my own websites, and acted as co-admin in others and seeing the gross way this site is managed constantly leaves me disgusted. I've been writing in rp environments for over fifteen years. The way that this website is constantly mismanaged is honestly outstanding. It is constantly flooded by pedophiles (in which the admin claims are "taken care of quickly" — they aren't) and bigots (anything ranging from good ol' boy racism to stark hypocritical sexism) and the owner thinks it's a decent outlet to shove their religion down their users throat while claiming it is a "family website" are really just the tip of this sewage water iceberg.

Reporting users does nothing unless there's a woman somewhere in the picture that might have nipples. Theft of original content runs rampant on this site. If you're looking for plagiarism and someone to rip-off your intellectual property, roleplayer.me is the place for you! Especially if you don't have a copyright attached to it...and I'm betting you don't! What really adds to this cesspool of noxious mental illness and blatant disregard for others is the abuse of other members all the way from doxing to verbal abuse and slander. Yet, the owner still won't ban users' IPs or DNS.

The ads are incessant and uncontrolled on this website, predictably because the owner actually has no idea on how to run a website and wants their pockets lined with whatever feeble coin might be tossed their way just so users feel that the site is accessible and user-friendly.

After paying for ad removal, a person tried to add me with my real name and had my location on their profile. I tried to submit a complaint about it but the owner only assured me it a coincidence. People, despite the roleplaying restrictions tend to add and request things I don't play, espeicially erotika accutns. Not safe for children to play on this site. It is def 18+ kind of site.
