We booked a flight through Kayak to Alaska, who then booked us through SmartFares. I was a little confused but so far the experience has been very good. I had a question and contacted customer service at SmartFares and they were very helpful and patient as I tried to correct a mistake I made with travel date. Email confirmation and communication has been good too. Hopefully, the flight day experience will go without a hitch.

When I saw the ticket was cheaper than other sites than I was little skeptical and thought it may be a scam site or may be like other site who advertise cheaper fare and when you ready to book fare will jump by few hundred bucks or like they will charge extra credit card fees, but I was wrong it was smooth experience. Received the confirmation email right away and ticket number and confirmation from airline in 5-6 hours. Also they called to see if I need any other services like hotel or car. It was pleasant experience.

Switch and bait practice going on here. I saw prices in Canadian dolllars but then was charged a US Dollar amount with came out to $31.00 more than the price on the screen. Customer Service (chat bot) said Oh the extra charge was from your bank. I tried to explain that the issue was with their website conversion program and well, they just did not acknowledge the issue. So buyer beware if you are in Canada. The price on the screen is NOT what you will be charged. Like I said, bait and switch.

I ordered tickets for an international flight, and I got tickets. Just one thing that would be nice to see is some control over the currency that's displayed. This would be a nice addition. Thanks.
This is my first experience with SmartFare and I was led to you via an online brokerage.
Terrible. Overcharged me and blamed my bank. Called the bank and they confirmed this to be untrue... Super suss then canceled my booking because the price "went up". ALL WITHIN 45 MINUTES. Then asked me how much am I willing to pay? Huh? Got the agent to repeat after me. I am not purchasing anything so I will be getting a full refund. Waste of time.

Quick and easy throughout the process. When the selection listed give airline a seat preference for window or isle, there was no listing of a price associated (other choices had fees visible). At checkout there was no final price given before confirmation. After finalizing the purchase, then I saw a $90 fee for requesting a window seat without any actual seat assignment. Thankfully I called and was able to be assured they would refund that $90 within 48 hours.

I was on Kayak trying to book a ticket as I've done many times in the past. When I finished I was super surprised to see an email from SmartFares as this is the first time I've purchased anything and received an email from them. I guess it's no big deal, and I'll have to wait until my trip to see if there are any real problems. My concern is that if I need to find my confirmation information, I'm not going to remembered to search "SmartFares" to find the email with the information in it. Just more for me to remember. Lo que mejoraría es que haya un detalle de lo que comprende el pasaje (ej si incluye o no maletas, si es reembolsable, etc) el paso antes del pago ofrecen productos para agregar pero no detalla lo que hasta el momento se eligió.
El Billete electrónico tampoco llega al mail, si queda habilitado en la pagina el chat online, la persona que te atiende te lo manda pero no seria algo practico.
Fue la pagina que encontré para poder hacer la compra de pasaje en la aerolínea de Uzbekistán. Es sencilla de usar.

I used this site once for international trip, and because of its failure, some letters were deleted from my name, which caused me to lose my reservation and money. When I tried to contact them to help me, they did not interact in a professional manner and asked me to book again and pay again. So I contacted the airline company and the problem was solved directly with them as well. I later discovered that the duration of the trip I had booked appeared on their website as 33 hours, but in reality it was about 43 hours.
Conclusion, it is the worst website I have ever dealt with in my life.
