This purported billing site runs scams. I got a call from the Fraud Center of my bank advising me that the site had attempted to bill my debit card. I told the bank I had made no purchase in the amount indicated and they put a hold on the payment. After I learned the identity of the site I went there to check it out. It was straight "http", not "https" as one would expect from a secure billing website, and every request for information from the site required you to enter you credit card number. It doesn't even deserve 1/4 star - it is a fraudulent site!
Taking money from peoples bank account without permission is fraud. This site, starts with the same amount every time it seems $29.99 then increases it to $39.78. Nothing big so you would notnotice it.
Many people have been ripped off by these criminals, but nothing is done to stop them, so be aware.,
This fraudulent site is a scam operation. I received a fraud eMail alert from my credit card company. The account affected had a $0 balance, and tpsitehelp.com, I was informed had accessed my account and initiated (2) charges within a 4-day period. This should be prosecutable, and I will follow-up with my state's Atty General office.
Another important thing I forgot to mention in my yesterdays review (or better said complaint):
Which services do regulary bill you? One of them must have be hacked or have a leak.
I am monthly billed by the following companies:
easynews.com
bigfishgames.com
t-mobile.at
And occasionally billed by
amazon.de
kopp-verlag.de
lufthansa.de
airberlin.de
If anyone of you is a customer of one of these sites, please let me know here, because
If there are congruences, I could tell them to search for a possible hack or leak in their
Securitysystem.
Thanks in advance
Love to all
Karl
They charged my card for $29.99 so i called my bank to block them from access to my account. The dialog with the bankers was simple:
- what are last 4 digits of your card, and what is the amount in dispute?
- $29.99
- tpsitehelp.com?
- yes
- we will credit the full amount back to your account, thank you for calling.
I just received a call from my credit card company... TPSITEHELP tried to bill my account 39,95.
I have not entered my credit card information for a long time online. I havent even used my card lately. I have no idea how they accessed my account.
The people in charge of Tpsitehelp NEED TO BE PROSECUTED. This is a blatent theft and criminal act. SCUMBAG SCAMMER.
I just got stung by these guys too. I've no idea how they got my credit card number but I do shop online a LOT so I guess it could've happened somewhere. They billed my card for US29.99, which I didn't notice till it had processed. Then when I rang my bank they said they had another, larger charge (I think it was US39.99 or US49.99) pending from the same guys. Obviously the first one went through so they thought they'd try a larger chunk. Only solution apparently is to cancel my credit card number and get a new one!
Scary stuff. (And a complete pain in the $#*!.)
When I visited the tpsitehelp.com website, it asked me to give them my credit card details to challenge the payment! Very fishy. Also the registered business address at the bottom of the page is "Amory Building, Basseterre, St Kitts, East Caribbean" - not exactly what I would've thought to be the hub of the world's most legitimate traders...
