Triund Hill website helped in my first solo trekking in Himachal, Dharamsala. I have almost done trekking to Kareri Lake, Triund, Laka, Naddi area, Indrunag and some parts of Bir as well. To summarize, the information in Triund Hill has covered all of the treks in Dharamshala regions. The admins are very responsive if you need some extra information about camping or hotel room bookings. The site sure has useful information and the owners really helped me hiring a nice guide for Indrahar Pass trek, the whole trek was tiring but it was of worth. Loved it.
Tip for consumers:
They have been on this business since 2011, as per the admins and the site itself is very old. So far, I personally met them in their place and came to know, that it's run by only two members. Most of the time they run the whole thing from home office and they are very responsive to the people who seek travel or hotel related information.
Well I belong to Dharamsala but was brought up North East India and lived there till now and this year we are back in Himachal. After going through this website, found that it has mentioned all of the treks available in Dahramshala, including the easy Triund trek. Contacted the admins over Facebook and got instant reply about the arrangement of the trek and camping. To be frank, they do refered us the best travel agent but charged no commission either from the agent or us. This resulted us as the affordable camping fees for us. I have read the whole blog and there are few treks, that I can do on my own.
This blog was a reference by a friend of mine from Dharamshala. Since, I'm from Shimla and wanted to do some trekking in Dharamshala on my own, so this blog really helped me in seeing the details of the trek and feel comfortable about my solo trekking to Triund and Kareri Lake. I've bookmarked this site for new and easy treks.
