Very impressed w/ orderly arrangement of products for sale, e.g., music, books, movie, etc. Makes sense! Also, the choice of sellers is easy to understand & navigate--I contacted one book seller Solr by email to find out if the used book they were selling was highly dusty (allergies) & they emailed back w/ details & evident concern. Alibris is now my "go-to" source for great prices, selection & quality of sale. Thanks for doing a great job!
Very Difficult to change shipping address. Had to quit internet browser and log back in again. Shipping choices limited. I know from past purchase that independent sellers can take their sweet time shipping items and often do. Why does alibris appear to charge at 1st class parcel rates and deliver at slower and cheaper media mail rate? Delivery window excessively wide.
This one was simple as always. Had an issue or 2 during a Dec. Order. Was refunded for an LP I didn't order. But never recieved the cd of Silver Morning from. For some reason when I reviewed details. That says returned as well. So I lucky found another CD for Silver Morning and placed the order. This should run smooth. Service has been great but you need to be patient when an issue arises. They will take care of it just tales a little longer than expected. Thank you!

Problem Is with last order. Oredered 2 CDS by Kenny Rankin one came as described the other CD descried on my order came as a vinyl. I have no use for this and the CD was to be a gift in a few weeks. This is the first error that has happened with HPB-Ruby in Texas which I gave high marks until now. Not sure as to how this will be handled since they are showing no more CDS of Silver Moon in CD version available. This was to be a gift to my 89 year old mother. She heard my copy and wanted one
To see if they can help with this is. I'd like the proper cd but if not possible refund for album $22.65 7% tax, shipping and not aharges to me to return thhis album I NEVER ORDERED.

Noticed the email notice of end of sale. Thought it had already ended and had missed it.
Significant defacing of the book with ownership paraphernalia found on the dust jacket back edge, both sides of the front endpaper, the title page, stamps on the front, top and bottom edges, etc.
I suppose the Texas State Technical Institute library must have anticipated this would be a highly desirable item given the steps they took to help identify their ownership. However, in this was the case, why did they ever give it up?

I wanted to order a book for a friend who had asked to borrow a book from me upon my finishing it. As my friend is my fantastic Sunday School teacher I wanted to give her this book for her own. I didn't think about this book published in 2012 being out of print now. I was so happy to find this book (Simple Understanding Revelation) at this website. I was even more pleased to receive it timely AND in mint condition. Thank you Alibris for being such a reliable business.

Alibris is the only used book website where I order books. Since I rarely buy new books, that means a lot of books for a given year. I have a library of about 2,000 books and have only been disappointed once in the past many years. I began ordering from Alibris after half.com discontinued service. The communication from sellers is very satisfactory and the way Alibris keeps me informed when books are shipped is pleasing. I'm a satisfied customer who looks forward to continued satisfaction.

There is a very big choice of books and I am, as an avid book moore, can't bypass this online shops. I adore reading fiction and there's a great collection of fiction books. Plus, I ordered a couple of ones for my children and they were quite delighted receiving these books.
So far I am reading my second one from here, and i like that I didn't pay much for them and at the same time delivery was strictly on time.
Such a level of service is enviable for many companies, props!
I have used Alibris for many years to purchase collectible books and lesser quality books for reading. I love that I can select a rare book or a paperback... select the edition... the condition of a used book... often the price... and even select the ship-from location if there are several sellers.
One thing I am very surprised at, is there is no t an APP for Alibris, unless I am overlooking it.

Clear descriptions, reasonable prices. Very workable format altogether. I buy from Alibris whenever I can, not others. Lower prices than Amazon are a major factor.
The verbal description paragraphs are very influential in making my decision. If there is none, I skip the selection.
I wish there were more books featuring middle-aged and older men.

It's very difficult to move down a page when the sidebar disappears. Fix this! Also, "gay" books are often written by women. What do they know to equip them to write about the emotional and sexual experiences of gay men? Leave them out! Also leave out any book by an author whose last name is Gay when the search is about gay fiction novels? Your search formula needs a lot of editing, esp if you don't want to lose gay male readers.

It is very aggravating and frustrating to want to move to the next page but there is no cursor next to the right hand margin to use. I had to go back to start to find a cursor. Then I had to repeat this process three times. Fix your system so that the right hand cursor is always there.
I do NOT wish to have to agree to your using my comments on public websites, in order to place an order. Give us a choice. I do NOT agree to your using my feedback on public sites. One of these days I will stop ordering from Alibris, because of the forced agreement and the problem described above, and go to other websites to order books---unless these problems are fixed. I'm sure I'm not the only one to complain about this.
Often the slide at far right used to move down from one book to another, or from books reviewed above, down to books not read does not work. The only way to move on down appears to be, sometimes, to click on the bottom book. Please fix slide so one need only slide the bar down to go on to the next books.

Ordering a like-new, preowned, hardcover book was a smooth and efficient process. The picture and description of the book was clear and informative. Upon the quick arrival, the book was in great condition, without any damage or defects. The entire experience with searching, finding, viewing and reading the offer, purchasing the book, all went well, despite a somewhat awkward procedure to make payment via PayPal.com.
Alibris was chosen in part due to past experience. Past purchase transaction were good. There was confidence in selecting this vendor. Also, among those online vendors who were considered, Alibris had the sought-after volume, in great condition, with a favorably competitive price.
This shopping experience went well despite not being able to return to print the listing page before placing the order.
We live in the country and getting books that you want to read is pretty much impossible. I adore book stores and to get to one I have to drive over an hour away. So, Alibris is wonderful for me to find books I want to read on a certain topic that I am interested in, a craft I want to learn more about or cookbook writers that I want to read about and try their recipes. I always get the books and they are as they were described in good condition.

From my experience, you are using Alibris because you are looking for a product that is hard to find and the price of the products I have ordered have reflected that. What I have purchased are basically full price or even over full price but the quality is excellent and the shipping is crazy fast. Great experience, great product, great service. If you are having a hard time finding a product and you see it on Alibris, you will get a great product through this service.
Alibris has the simplest navigation tool of many online fora that gives customers great flexibility in making changes to billing, shipping, address changes, etc. I wish it would automatically include whatever coupon might be available, but one can't have everything. As it is, it is much better than other sites that I end up frustrated with.
The price was sixty dollars less than what another site wanted for the exact same thing.
I was disappointed that that the audio CD's that I had ordered for Teach Yourself Irish were not actually for the book Teach Yourself Irish but for a watered down conversational course on CD's. I was also disappointed that when I order the Teach Yourself Irish Complete Course withAudio pack what I received was only a book in the mail and no audio tapes on CD or cassettes.
I have had a good experience in the past, so I thought I would continue with it despite the recent trouble getting precisely what I wanted and thought I ordered for Teach Yourself Irish Complete course with audio pack, the old one, which is much better than the new version created.
So far, the shopping experience has been fine, but I hope the audio component is with the book; otherwise, how will I ever pronounce the Irish correctly.
It is difficult to find Irish and Gaelic material, either Irish or Scottish Gaelic, but Alibris seemed to have the book and audio component to it, though I've been fooled before and got only the book despite an advertisement that said "with audio, etc."
I like dealing with Alibris because I am not constrained by multi-factor identification using a text message since I don't own a cell phone, iPhone, smart phone, etc., as my landline from 1982 still works just fine.

I do not own a cell phone, so alibris system of payment that does not require me to receive a "text" or something on a "tablet" works best for me since I can no longer use those services requiring "doube-identification" since my phone is a landline installed in 1982.
I wanted to buy the British series Teach Yourself Welsh with either the CD or cassette audio components included so that I could actually hear how the the words and sentences are pronounced, but only the book ever came up with no indication of the audio. One other time it mentioned audio on the description and I received a book with no audio, so I like to make sure so I don't waste what little money I have on something I cannot use.

Terrific sellers! They were very responsive, and answered additional questions I had about the listed item without delay or hesitate. Even seeing photographs, the condition of the book exceeded my expectations.
Alibris is one of the selling platforms that I use for my own book business, and there was a copy of the book here that met my needs.
I've ordered with Alibris a couple times and each time my books arrived on time or before they were promised, and the condition of the book matched their description (or was a little better). I consistently find the lowest prices on Alibris of pretty much anywhere I look. My only gripe is shipping costs as you often can't find multiple books that you want from the same seller, but I also think that I've been spoiled by free shipping from giant corporations which shall remain unnamed.
I enjoy using Alibris. It gives me the chance to locate older or out of print titles that I've been looking for--sometimes for years. The last order was the first where a title I had selected was canceled. I found another bookseller with a similar edition and placed a second order. It and the other books in the original order were delivered as promised. I'm happy. Thanks!

All is good, but I am a bit perplexed as to how you can charge a book to my 'PayPal account' without any input from me (going to PayPal, and clicking on the verifications to make sure it's me). Not that I'm complaining (EZ peasy)... but this is not how I purchase on Discogs or Amazon or ThiftBooks. Note: I'd give you five stars-- but with my question, I bring it to a four-star. If you answer me back, we'll be up to five stars on the next order! Thank you.

Was sent a reminder for a coupon in my Email. But I did not use the coupon (the purchase requirement was too high -- $5.00 off for $125.00 purchase. Still, I bought $14.00 worth of books I wouldn't have if I wasn't reminded by Alibris through my Email.
Lost my coupon discount because I wasn't sure when to add the code (I missed the point at the end, right before purchasing). Tried to enter the code beforehand, but code was rejected. Lost a $4.00 discount...(sigh). It would be nice if you could credit me on the $4.00 coupon...(at least that is what I would like!).

I've been an Alibris customer for over 10 years. I've always been pleased with the condition assessments and prices. I've kinda come to think used book dealers are more honest than they are dishonest. It's a shame fewer people desire paper books as opposed to digital books, generation gaps exist... I'm doing my part to preserve the heritage rolled up in paper books!
