I ordered a sink which was supposed to come with a drinking water faucet. The sink arrived without the drinking water faucet, instead it had a soap dispenser substituted by the manufacturer who failed to update the ad. I called Amazon customer service and in about 5 minutes they gave me the $280 sink for free and I bought the water faucet for $32 That's above and beyond. Amazon is a fantastic company.

Basic reasonable service for all customers spending their hard earned money on this site? No. Amazon literally looks for ways, to penalize those who don't have their prime" subscription. Also would have just gone to walmart had I known this would happen. Placing a simple order for non custom items, then having to wait a week before arrival is unacceptable.

Pathetic customer service, originally ordered around thanksgiving and got multiple updates on the delivery dates and never received it. I was promised that a replacement will be sent to me at no cost in Dec last week and the pattern repeats, as the order has just the label generated with nothing shipped out yet. Horrible call center reps after numerous transfers and digging into this order they are not even cancelling the order and returning my money.

The manufacturer substituted a soap dish for the drinking water faucet. I asked Amazoncustomer service for a free $32 drinking water faucet. They refunded the $280 sink and told me I could keep the sink for free but I would have to buy the $32 faucet. That's above and beyond.

Out of 6 4k uhd blu rays I bought 5 where used and re shrink wrapped, and purchased directly from Amazon.i tried to leave a review about this on amazons website and they repeatedly got taken down!

They are literally re shrink wrapping returned movies and selling them as new! If I was a lawyer I'd start a class action lawsuit.

Order movies from best buy same price and actually brand new

Writing reviews of a product has to be perfect for this company or they will email you threats. Avoid this company at all costs. 1 star is entirely too many.

No need to reiterate. Amazon is the world's most successful online shopping pace. Their customer service reps are knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They make you feel at ease immediately knowing that they are fully trained, well-mannered, and completely doing everything they can to resolve your issue. Their choices of merchandise are ample. It is easier to purchase from them than from anywhere else.

Tip for consumers:
It is easier to use Amazon's website for purchases than from any other place. I always used Amazon as an example to comment on
other company's shortcomings when I was frustrated with the difficulties shopping at their websites or dealing with their customer service reps.

Wow - can't believe how terrible amazon.com has become. I ordered a product - the tracking number on the website said it was "delivered by amazon" but it was not. I spent well 2 hours on the chat and a phone call with them telling me the item had been forwarded to a "freight forwarder" and I was to contact them to find out where the package was. BUT crucially, they did not know which "freight forwarder". How am I supposed to follow up with a mystery company. Beyond ridiculous.

Made one large purchase of several items, Amazon breaks it down in multiple orders which is very confusing and done this way to add extra fees I believe, than one order gets cancelled for whatever reason and I'm stuck waiting on a refund, can't just resend item have to go through the whole process of reordering and repaying, I will never use this company again!

Don't purchase from amazon.com they're just a bunch of thieves! They won't provide you a refund for a lost product for 6 weeks after the purchase date! No notification that you have to wait 6 weeks to be reimbursed when you place the order! Just a bunch of lying thieves! Save yourself some frustration and make your purchases anywhere else but amazon.com

I am keeping this review short and sweet. I often have many bad experiences with retail companies and their poor customer services, but Amazon always comes out on top. Their excellence in customer care makes me favour shopping on their site over anywhere else.
The shipping times are super fast and even on a Sunday too. I have never had any issues with opened or stolen packages from the couriers. If items have been faulty, the incorrect size, or not to my taste, it is free to send back on a majority of items.
The products are packaged really well and I re-use all the boxes to store or ship things.
The staff hired to take calls are very charming, knowledgable and empathetic. I cannot fault the company or suggest any ways to improve.
No other company can compare!

This company and its customer service reps are incompetent, I guess that what happens when you contract to India. Can't understand anything. Orders not showing up. They push the shipping dates out by weeks in their own and you can't get a refund until that day passes.
Thieves is what they are. They will lie right to you just to shut you up instead of using common sense and customer service. I feel like I'm talking to my grandchild just learning English. I guess that's what happens when the ceo and owner is a thief. It trickles to the rest of the company. These two items never showed up nor will they. But yet I'm stuck with over 400 dollars floating in the air. BE WARE THESE IDIOTS WILL RIP YOU OFF!

A little trick I learned calling over 100 times is if you get someone on the line that don’t speak English just keep asking for a supervisor eventually you will get someone that speaks english

I don't understand why I keep ordering from Amazon. They are late every time now. They were top of the game with the 2 day delivery. I didn't mind paying a little extra for it because I got it in 2 days. Well now you order something that says 2 days and it doesn't show up for three or four. I could have got on eBay and ordered the same thing $5 cheaper and they say it'll be here in 3 or 4 days instead of lying just to get you to buy it. This used to be a great company. They have just been going downhill.

Ordered Acer computer and warranty and 2 other items. Computer is defective and other items bad. Couldn't print a label to return and couldn't make the ** understand that I need them to give label to carrier to pick up computer. Over 8 calls to Amazon, 5 emails, and 2 letters I am still waiting for them to do this! Had this defective computer for over a month, finally disputed charges on my credit card.

When I try to verify my account via my phone logging in, the code never gets to my phone and I'm taken to a customer service page with a question that doesn't have my answer in the drop-down menu. And eventually I'm right back where I started! Now I can't even log into my account VERY INFURIATING! THANKS!

terrible experience with cust service supervisor! I only wanted her to send a replacement, not refund me. she wouldn't do it; was not helpful at all, actually I found her to be condescending! I have been an Amazon Prime member for years and order many items for gifts, pet supplies, household needs, etc. and I am finding that they are just. not the company in terms of integrity, cust service, keeping the timeframes for deliveries, etc. they used to be, need to start looking for another company

I have a picture to prove what i am talking about. It would've received 4 or 5 stars if it wasn't for this issue in particular. Not sure what happened to Amazon. I was their biggest fan! I loved how they solved all my purchasing problems and helped me return everything so easily. They were truly customer-centric which every company should emulate. That was Mr. Hyde. Then Dr. Jekyell showed up Jan 2024. Amazon downright refused to reimburse me anything for knocking over my mailbox! That is their ARC team, saying nonsense that will never stand up in court. I guess they were bullying me. Customer service is definitely out the window. Then to top it off, on another item, Amazon said they delivered a Dell computer costing over $1000 to my door. When I asked them if anyone received a signature or took photos, like they always do, Amazon said no. Whaaat? When I told them I did not receive it, Amazon said I should contact the police! He actually even sent me an email to repeat that I should contact the police and get a filing before he would do anything about it. I am just amazed! I would never have imagined they would come anything close to saying that from well over a decade of customer-centric experience I had with them. It is a change of policy coming down from the top. It is so surprising and alarming. They changed their tune so suddenly like a company that is going bankrupt. I am on my way to selling all my Amazon stocks. Something drastic is happening to them. I am sure others will see Amazon's true colors soon enough if they have not already. No more Prime for me. By the way, there is no reason to call the police on an item they never sent. My credit card company already gave me the money and will deal with them. My lawyer will deal with Amazon on the house damage. Jeff Bezos may be right much sooner than people think: he predicted his company would go bankrupt. I have to agree with the smartest man from Amazon.

I bought an item from an Amazon third party seller who used Fed Ex to deliver the package. Package was hand delivered to me on my driveway. After the Fed Ex truck left, I noticed many deep gouges on my driveway corresponding to tire track. It covered an area of 20 x 20 ft. Fed Ex is ignoring me despite all the info they have.
Amazon is adamant in NOT helping me. Never mind that I have bought it though Amazon. They parrot, "it is a third party seller so we can not talk to Fed Ex or do any thing". I have spoken with four reps, two supervisors (Kelly C was the worst) and the head quarters. Marina from the transportation dept in Seattle, after interrogating for 5 minutes to verify my identity, rudely told me the only person I could air my grievance is Jeff Bezos and gave me his email address! What an irresponsible company Amazon has turned out to be! What a departure from the friendly company I thought it was. This is a service matching the companies that have since disappeared. It was a rude awakening.
MORAL OF THE STORY: Do NOT buy anything from Amazon's third party seller since Amazon will not help you if there is any issue with delivery.

I bought an agitator assembly, container bottom, and sealing ring for an extra Oster blender jar that came with a new blender. The order shipped fairly quickly, but when it arrived, there was no sealing ring. I contacted customer service, and they submitted a refund without offering to send the missing part. I requested a refund for the whole lot and was told I'd have to pay the shipping cost which was over $6. I will use Amazon next time!

It can be convenient until you need to make a return. I wouldn't trust the estimated shipping dates. They tend to be inaccurate. They do have a wide variety of sellers and products on there so it can be easier than ordering from a few different sites or driving around trying to find everything.

Tip for consumers:
You may get a refund once item is returned. Shipping is not always great so order about 10 days ahead just in case. I would only use it for harder to find items in your area. if you can get it at your local grocery store save yourself the hassle.
