My advisor Mandy is extremely competent and professional, yet she brings personal and caring touches into play. Working with her is like having a trusted friend who happens to have great resources at her disposal.
During my search for an Independent Living community for my mom, she understood that I needed time to do interviews and take tours of the different communities.She called or texted me frequently to get our impressions, but was never pesky or intrusive.

"A Place for mom" was a huge asset in helping my sisters and I, when it came time for our mom to move to an assisted living home. Our representative was knowledgeable, understanding, empathetic and showed great patience. Having never been down this road before the whole process would have been agony without their guidance and knowledge.
From helpful and educational emails on various topics to supplying us with a list of properties to tour, and following up questions about decisions or additional information.

Kelly Vitale was absolutely amazing. I feel that she went above and beyond for my 81 year old uncle. She took all of the legwork from my already loaded table. She is quite knowledgeable about how the system works and knows the best places for families looking for a home for their loved ones. She made me feel like she actually cared about my family and myself. We need more compassion and empathy on this planet. She embodies these values. Just as an aside there was no charge for her service.

Working with Georgia was so wonderful! She's really helpful with navigating memory care options, listening to our priorities, and helping guide us to best-fit residential centers. After my request for places to visit I received a very long list o possible locations. I managed to visit most of them and settled on one in particular that met my needs which included meals provided, cleaning service, transportation, social events. Each location could not have been more friendly and had they all met my needs I would have had a much harder job. So thanks to "A Place For Mom" for providing just what I needed.

As soon as I completed the application and hit submit, I received a phone call from an agent, who then transferred me to my case manager. She did all the work for me, selecting facilities that seemed to meet our needs. She checked in on me almost every day at first.

Literally received a call within 2 minutes of my inquiry. Recommendations sent shortly after, Had our care team secured within 24 hours. Several follow-up calls from them as well. Very attentive, caring and thorough.

Stephanie, our advisor, has been super helpful. I started my research on my own, trying to find a place for my parents. The information was overwhelming, and calling different places wasted so much of my time but didn't get anywhere. I clicked on the link to A place for mom. They connected me with my local advisor. The search for assisted living for your parent can be both emotional and overwhelming. A Place for Mom helped ease those feelings with their knowledge and assistance. Location (equal distance between my brother and I), cost, rating and levels of care offered were important criteria in our search. They made recommendation to assist in our search. They followed up frequently and offered guidance as needed.

I was clueless in finding someone to assist with my mother in law. I needed in home care for a few hours a few days each week. Ad I did not need someone with medical training. It was such a pleasure speaking with Elizabeth Wolfe. She understood my needs and gave me the information I needed to start my search. I contacted a place for mom on seeing a tv commercial. They were responsive and connected me to a senior advisor, Joy W. No pressure, just caring and helpfulness. I was scheduled with 3 facilities, same day. Helpful all around. I'm grateful.

Right after completing the online form, I was contacted by A Place for Mom (email and a phone call) to get more information. Before I knew it, we had a list of residences that had availability with their amenities and costs. They also set up appointments for tours. The follow up was nice as well as the general resources for downsizing a picking the right place to live. Be ready for an onslaught of calls and emails from the residencies on your list- it is overwhelming, but this is a big deal and everyone I spoke with knows that and were kind and supportive

When Mom's rehab facility gave her a last-minute unanticipated discharge, we were scrambling to find a place for her because she could no longer live at home. We contacted A Place for Mom in the evening, and got a response within 20 minutes, with a list of places we could tour the next morning. A few of them didn't look like a good fit, so we talked to the woman helping us to give more details about what we needed. We were shocked to get another list of eight more places that night! We set up tours and were ready to go the next morning, when we found the perfect place for Mom that was in our budget. Definitely recommend this service. Can't imagine what we would have done.

My experience has been wonderful. They've done the best work possible I believe in giving me opportunities to visit places that come as close as possible to fitting our budget. I've tried myself to find places and its overwhelming. They make it seem easy.

My mom recently had a stroke and went from full independence to needing a lot of care. I had no idea where to start. I simply added my info to the site and expected to be contacted in a day or so and I immediately got a call. I was connected to the most caring and helpful person, Alma, who gave me so much information, scheduled me for tours, and literally said the words "I will be with you every step of the way". I truly don't know what I would have done without her.

A Place for Mom adviser was super helpful; always providing relevant locations to explore and following up on the experience. My advisor responded promptly and so friendly as well as knowledgeable. She informed me of locations that did not meet my guidelines when I explored on my own. Excellent resource, highly recommend.

From the very beginning Nancy Was there for me, she's not only Guided me to view places in Florida and I am in Boston. Even after I made my decision, she called to see what she could do. Nancy made sure that all my questions have been answered. I move on September 14,2024.

I had no idea where to start trying to find memory care for my husband. I was alone in this search. To be honest, I stumbled upon A Place for Mom by just doing a Google search. I received a phone call from Sarah that saved my sanity. She guided me through the process by asking what I was looking for in such a friendly and kind manner. They provide an online site where you can schedule tours, leave reviews, ask questions, etc.

When we realized my mom needed to move to independent living soon and on a very limited budget, we called a place for mom for help and Wendy immediately gave us good information and several places to check out in our area. She checked in frequently and always offered great help and advice! I don't think we could have done it without her and will forever be grateful!

My mother in law needed placement but we were slow to get the ball moving until she had a serious life change.
