ArtFire has a rating of 1.7 stars from 436 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers complaining about ArtFire most frequently mention tracking number, customer service, and credit card problems. ArtFire ranks 744th among Marketplace sites.
Artfire functions like any other selling venue in that it provides a platform for independent sellers. Artfire's focus is primarily, though not exclusively, handmade items--everything from jewelry to guitar straps. The customer service to sellers who list there is truly excellent--thorough and timely with problems solved quickly. Customer service to buyers is excellent as well, accommodating several different methods of payment rather than just Paypal, and in the event a problem sale arises, the staff will track down an errant seller and see that they act to resolve any issues. I have sold on Ebay, Etsy, and Artfire, and Artfire is, hands down, the best run, most responsive, most innovative site I have had the pleasure of both selling and buying on.
After placing an order and having to jump through hoops just to get a false response, I won't be dealing with this site again. The seller falsified tracking information and haven't been communicating like they said they would. Place your order somewhere else.

Purchased an item, paid for it thru PayPal as it I saw the only method they accept. They collected my money instantly and I have no confirmation, communication, explanation, nothing after 4 days and multiple attempts to contact. This is a scam, look at their reviews. They need to be shut down.
Spent over $100 on a child pool for my son. Never got it, contacted ArtFire and the seller was removed from their site and they said call my credit card company to dispute the charge. Seems like the entire website is a scam looking at other reviews.
Tip for consumers:
Don’t use this site at all.

I purchased an Xbox S series gaming system on Artfire. I received a package of face masks as a bait and switch! When I emailed Artfire (because they don't show a phone number), I received a notice that their seller was removed from the website due to violating terms. Okay. Send me their contact information so my bank can go after them! They are of no help!
The site might be ok but they don't verify their sellers. I knew something was wrong when I used PayPal and it did not return to the purchase page for final authorization. The seller took the money and ran. Different names and contact information given each time. And then this seller had the nerve to use a tracking number that was not under my name or address. Fortunately. PAYPAL refunded my purchase price since I never received the product ordered.
Tip for consumers:
Beware!! Try to contact the seller prior to purchase.

Purchased ON Running shoes in discontinued color. I'd give a zero on everything since it was a scam and I never received the product or got a reply from the email I sent to the seller.
Ordered my jersey a month ago. They sent me a tracking number that doesn't even work or have a link. I've emailed the seller several times. No response. His name is 'honest businessman' that should have been my clue to stay away.
I ordered from Artfire and never received a shipping confirmation as promised within 48 hours, I logged in the check my order status stand the sellers account was no longer active. I emailed customer service and they said it was not their responsibility and I needed to contact seller with the bogus email provided and told me I needed to dispute charges with my bank or credit card company.
Tip for consumers:
Do not risk buying from this site

I have tried to email the address on my invoices, to no avail! It keeps coming back as an invalid address! I ordered a shirt Nov 28 and another Dec 5. Both orders said they would arrive prior to Christmas. You guessed it, still nothing!
No way to communicate, and no shirts in hand!
Yes, I am dissatisfied!

TOTAL SCAM! Buyers beware, I should have read the reviews first, but I order a bike $99.99 and received a three piece pack of surgical mask made from china. Bummer. But I'm writing now so beware, stay away from artfire..
Tip for consumers:

I waited for my order to be filled and shipped for approximately one month, the seller never progressed past confirmation that my payment was accepted. The only reason I gave ArtFire one star is bc of how promptly they refunded my money after I sent a refund request their way. I was actually surprised by the speed lol bc until this interaction, I would have sworn on a stack of bible's their contact info (email) was a complete fake. So, ONE STAR and I'd really only give them a half star if I could. Word of mouth advertising is the best advertising a company can get when it's positive. However, it can sink a company when it's negative. I will have nothing nice to say when asked about this "company" of scammers and swindlers. I'm only thankful I had enough sense to keep security on my money so it'll be coming back to me!
Tip for consumers:
Here's a tip: SCROLL PAST ArtFire and don't use them at all for any reason. They are scammers and con-artists. It's a company that prides itself on dishonesty and obfuscation, to make sure ppl just get frustrated and give up. Thats why it's better to just SCROLL PAST! If a deal looks to good to be true, then it is! That statement was true when it was first spoken and it still is today!

I purchased a comforter for my daughter about three months ago and never received it. When I went to see what was taking so long the store front disappeared and so did my money. I tried contacting the seller by email and no response and there is no way of contacting art fire to dispute these charges

Best price on the web for everything under the sun EXCEPT you never get what you ordered, i. E. I ordered a craft cutting machine... I received an envelope with disposable masks. Looks great with paypal since they did ship the item. No customer service. The stores quickly disappears from the website after they sell you something. Although I got reimbursed from paypal under the buyers' protection. They are scams.
Tip for consumers:
I highly urge people not to order from this site

How are sites like this able to operate legally? I hope anyone thinking of ordering from them reads the reviews first, total scam company, if u feel generous and just want to donate money, find a worthy charity, don't order from artfire!

Artfire.com rips off sellers. Even after you cancel the service they continue to charge you. I cancelled my account within a. Month trying it. Lack of seller tools like order notifications. Try calling thier toll free support number recorded message no one is available. Worst ever. Going to sell on Amazon
As a marketplace venue hosting many individual shops, this site has more bugs for both buyer and seller than any other online selling venue (Ebay, Etsy, Zibbet for example). Admin of the site are rude, state untruths causing sellers to waste time fixing things in their shop and have gone on a mute and boot rampage deleting good sellers who have questioned any decision that has been made regarding the site. Forum - stay out or be prepared for an onslaught of verbal abuse from a select group of sellers who seem to be admin's (Tony's) chosen few. Language used is rude, belligerent, condescending - yet non of those partaking in such posts get muted, only those who dare question the site's functioning. Beware.
Don't ever order from here. They won't reply for day and seem to not care if you get ripped off or not. In my opinion, Artfire hosts foreign scammers to mislead Americans. They don't check the posts. Vendors state that are shipping form America, but it's lies!
Poorest quality ever! Shirt was pieced together and the sewing was horrible! Took many emails to get tracking and then for return information. Cost way to much to ship back but did not want this piece of crap no longer. Will be surprised if I get a refund. Wish I had found reviews before ordering!
I ordered a mini fridge and a workout bench set. Two weeks have past without a response. I sent an email inquiring an update on shipment, still one replied. I went to sellers page and its unavailable. Artfire.com has no active phone number (red flag). They only take emails. Thank God Paypal was able to offer me a refund under there protection plan.
Tip for consumers:
Beware, do not order anything SCAM WEBSITE!!!!!

Nothing, they never sent my item and sellers accounts were unavailable after purchase.
I emailed Artfire to notify them that PayPal told me one of their sellers was scamming people (me included) and received a form email. "Orders and transactions are between you (the buyer) and the merchant/seller... consider initiating a dispute with your credit card company or PayPal." They should take scammers off their website.
I ordered an item for Christmas that has not come and it is over 30 days. They sent me a shipping tracking number that only showed status when I emailed and complained. They just kept emailing back that it would be here very soon which was an endless delay mechanism. I disputed the charge on Paypal. Buyers beware of this complete scam!
In today's e-commerce environment being responsive to a customer's enquiry is a must. Responsive means getting back to the customer within say 24 hours.
I placed an order for a product that is apparently out of stock. Despite my waiting a few days, then sending an email and waiting some more, I discovered the unavailability purely by accident when, driven by frustration, I went clicking at everything in sight.
This kind of behavior leads one to believe a possible scam is afoot because it mirrors scammers techniques - Buyer BEWARE!
ArtFire is a total scam company. Do not buy anything from any 'seller' on that site. There is no recourse for you as a buyer.
After I had made a purchase for my son the 'storefront' disappeared. ArtFire has no way to get support as a buyer. Reaching out to the merchant was an obvious dead-end - their email was a bunch of random letters and numbers at gmail!
To be honest, this looks like it's trying to be an Etsy knockoff for overseas scammers. Lucky most credit cards have an easy way to dispute charges these days!
I suppose this is just another twig on the fire, but every other review is right on the money. I wish I'd read it before I signed up. I tried to cancel the account about 10 minutes after signing up and realizing that the subscription tier that I'd bought had basically none of the advertised features. The pricing structure only becomes transparent AFTER you've signed up, so be ready for nasty surprises.
These guys have the most ridiculous cancellation process ever, and they don't actually follow up when you finally do cancel the account. The only way I was able to get the account canceled was to go through my credit card company and tell them to stop authorizing transactions from ArtFire.
Tip for consumers:
Don't use this site.

I purchased the lowest tier for sellers, with the intention of upgrading once my shop was set up, the pricing structure, however is extremely unclear until you purchase, at which point I discovered that their advertising is deceptive and that this is not a sales channel that would work for me.
I was thrilled at first and had a lot of sales, but after a ton of technical problems, customers not being able to check out, pictures disappearing, and other glitches too numerous to mention, plus the new fees and programs they are rolling out, which I personally was opposed to-and then the nasty turn it took in the forums if you didn't agree with their policies, people being muted, their stores being shut down, etc... I decided to close my shop and stay away!
We've been selling via Artfire as well as other platforms online for years, then all of the sudden we're lock out from Artfire for no reason. Post contacting Artfire, only Facebook works guys, there is no email contact, we tried, did not work. Anyway, the problem is they claim we have a unprocessed order. We keep better records than Thomas Jefferson and show them that that order was shipped and delivered 2 months ago-that somehow their system had a bubu and lock us out. There were no email warning or inquiry, had no problem withdrawing account payment form us-they set that up very well... just close the door on us. During and after our communication with them, there were no apologizes of any kind or professional manner in dealing with problems originated by their poor system, as if the whole thing was run by some teenagers... bad experience over all.
