My watch was a Movado, and after being sent out TWICE for repair, at MY COST, it was deemed authentic. It was also a "discontinued" Model. I will NEVER recommend Ashford, and only wished I would have read their reviews prior to my purchase.

Honestly i doubt anything is every review i red about ashford was negative at some point so i do no recomend purchasing anything from them :(

People rarely log compliments but are happy to log complaints. I have spent over 40 grand at their online store and have never has a problem. Their watches are old stock from time to time and may require servicing sooner because they've been on the shelf for sometime. I collect mechanical watches and have never had reason to doubt Ashfords genuineness.

Very many people seem to have problems with the function of watches from Ashford. The brands they sell are expected to be high-quality, so the malfunctioning may be a sign of secons class products. I can not judge if my Bulova (not working) is genuine or a fake. However, Ashford does not answer mails, so their guarantee and promises are worthless. Buy only watches from Ashford up to an amount of money that you are prepared to loose

I imagine it would be authentic. But would it be a rebuilt or did not pass O. E. quality check? It wouldn't surprise me with the reviews that are posted.

Also, Brian's answer seems somewhat optimistic of the purchase... especially seeing as he has a post titled “Dont buy hamilton watches” with a single star and a bit from the review: "Bought 3 hamilton watches from ashfords.one was broken in box when arrived sent back for refund. 2nd watch broken its stem after 4 weeks. Sent back to ashrords hong kong at my expense waited 12 weeks. Now i have to pay ups to return it to me..."

I am honestly not sure if Ashford sells authentic Movado watches. For what it is worth, I purchased an ESQ watch from them and it appeared to be authentic, including the original box, paperwork, etc. I hope this helps!

I have since purchase another hamilton and it was great. I have bought and waiting on a jeanrichard watch as ashfords prices are so good. There watches are originall probably old stock. You do have 2yr warranty as back up
