The 1st 8 to 12 month, I felt I had improvement but it slowly faded away. I can feel the implant as if it has migrated closer to skin level, it gets VERY warm when charging and the charge is now lasting maybe a week or so.
I'm back on meds but myrbetric adversely effected my blood pressure and my insurance won't cover the Toviaz that worked best for me.
Can I even get this removed without paying an arm & a leg?
I wouldn't recommend this to anyone with severe overactive bladder.
I had Axonics Sacral Nerve Stimulator implanted 7-08-2020 for urge incontinence. It DOES NOT WORK. I've made numerous trips to have Axonics rep adjust the stimulator with NO improvement. This has affected my bowels from 1 BM@ day to 3-5@ day & have no improvement on bladder control. Their videos & ads are deceiving. My life is revolving around the toilet worse than ever. They still haven't came up with the "magic program" to make this work! This is my latest pee & poo times per day chart.
Tip for consumers:
Research the internet for different options.
Doesn't work for me. May have it removed... So disappointed. I expected more but have seen no improvement.
