Just built my second bax guitar blank kit Stratocaster looks great and sounds great, after my son bought me one, telecaster as a gift, great fun to do good quality and very reasonable price, would recommend it if you're thinking of giving it a go at building your own guitar
I got a faulty mic from Bax, that happens sometimes it's how it's dealt with that defines a company. I spoke to the director directly and he just ignored me after a few emails. They will come back and tell you they were doing everything by the book blah blah but the tone and arrogance of the personel means I won't buy anything from them again and I suggest you look elsewhere if you are looking for good customer service and people with morals. Just disgusting experience from start to finish, don't give them your money

Been waiting 4 months for a refund on a faulty item. They said they transferred it but won't provide a receipt to prove it.

Op de dag van mijn bezoek las ik de vele negatieve reviews van Bax. Ik besloot toch naar de winkel te gaan, twijfelend of ik wel zou bestellen. De vriendelijke drumexpert gaf me een duidelijke en eerlijke uitleg, wat me overhaalde om toch bij Bax te kopen. Ik kreeg het verkeerde product, met een defect onderdeel. Ik betaalde volle pot voor het duurdere toestel dat ik nooit kreeg, €200 meer. Op mijn vraag om het toestel te houden (het was intussen al uitgepakt en opgezet) en het verschil terug te betalen krijg ik al wekenlang geen reactie. Dit is pure oplichterij door nalatigheid.

The guitar is well finished and high quality, the action is rather high, but I can adjust that.
I was not given any information regarding the delivery date and had no opportunity to change it. The guitar was left on the doorstep, luckily my partner was at home
They seem to have the sales bit sorted but not returns.
Absolutely disgraceful, they received my return three weeks ago...it was tracked and a photograph supplied so no option but to acknowledge...seems that doesn't count as it isn't 'the warehouse'...they supplied the returns label so why nor have it returned directly to the warehouse? That was three weeks ago, perhaps the warehouse is a very very long way away! Customer Services are virtually non existent with useless responses such as we'll follow up...frankly I don't actually care what you do as long as you sort my refund!
About to open a dispute now as clearly they are taking no notice of me.

I'm only leaving a review here today because I received an automated email from Bax asking for reviews, so I did so on the sites they linked, and now i'm doing a few more for good measure. That seems to be how these guys work, but that's just highlighted the way things are these days, because whilst I ordered a product from BAX over a week ago, and they emailed me to say it had shipped, I've still not received it.
The order tracking says 'advised' which means they booked a carrier, but it's not been collected yet so I have no idea if it's any good or not.
Why bother leaving a review then? Well I've done do because when I followed up with an email to BAX to query the status of my order I didn't get a reply, yet they still sent out a spammy automated email asking for a review though, so here it is.
- I have nothing to review as it's not arrived.
- Customer service have not replied to multiple queries about it
- I'm not at all impressed.
- I won't order from BAX again.
Useless company - AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Do not use Bax Music! What a waste of time and money it has been. We ordered some DJ Truss for a show in November 2023 that never arrived. When we requested a refund for it, they sent us a partial refund for some odd reason (even though the product never arrived). Since Nov 2023 till now (end of March 2024) we have been going back and forth in loops requesting the rest of our refund, and they keep taking the piss by telling us we haven't provided the bank details, then the confirmation number, they even went as far to say we weren't emailing from the original email we had been communicating on (even though it was the same email thread and clearly the same email address). We have holded off writing this review for a few months to give them the benefit of the doubt, but it's seeming clear that there's something else going on. Avoid at all a costs!

Bought a guitar (Recording King Dirty 30s Parlor). Excellent service, beautifully packed and arrived in excellent condition. Needed some set up and new strings but that's normal. Bought some strings which arrived in a huge box that meant I had to make a trip to local post office to collect (see photo). Decided to find it amusing rather than annoying. Would definitely buy instruments again from Bax, but might look elsewhere for guitar/banjo strings that will go through letter box.

I wanted pair a pair of speakers stands. I chose to go with the K & M *******.
The Bax Music shop offered the product at a very competitive price. I chose parcel force as the delivery courier because it was the cheapest available and, there wasn't an immediate need for the speaker stands. I placed the order on the 12th of March and it arrived on the 14th of March.
The product and its packaging came inside a Bax Music box. The products arrived in excellent condition and, I had no issues with Bax music.

Bought a squier classic vibe 50s Stratocaster from Bax Music after not being able to find one anywhere else at a reasonable price. All other ones in the website were sold out apart from the Sunburst. I was out when it was delivered but when I got back a few days later and opened it up I found a defect on the headstock and two reasonable scratches on the bodywork.
I got in touch with bax music to ask them what could we done about this and if I could get a partial refund. They responded saying we can offer compensation in the form of a voucher, but we need to see proof of these defects in a photograph. I sent through two photographs, Which was days ago and have heard absolutely nothing since

Update: I also went through the official channel for return on the website, stating exactly the same and that I can't send it back and instead require either a refund or compensation. I have heard absolutely nothing! I'm disgusted at this level of customer service

Ordered a Flx6. Best price anywhere on the internet even cheaper than some second hand sites. There was a delay with the order but Bax made sure to keep me informed and gave a very accurate time for delivery.
This outfit took my order on 7/2/24 and said there was a delay of 2 to 3 weeks. They charged my Credit Card immediately, but I trusted they would deliver before end February. I then got a further e-mail saying delayed by a further 4 weeks and then on 7/3/24 another e-mail to say yet another 3 weeks delay on top - it looks like around 8th April is when they now expect to take delivery. The product is available elsewhere and in view of the latest delay I have 3 times asked for the order to be cancelled and my Credit card refunded urgently, so that I can buy the item elsewhere. So far, they have failed to respond at all and I am really worried that they may not be genuine. Looks like I will have to contact my Credit Card people to get my money back, as I no longer trust Bax!

The set-up out the box was perfect for me, the action was bang on and its tone is great, I love playing it. I have Taylor guitars gs mini, ad22e and ad17 and the ibanez size wise sits in the middle of the ad22e and ad17 about the same size as a Martin 000, exactly what I was after. The service from Bax was great and their range is vast (especially being left-handed) I'll will be checking them out in future for sure 😀.
Product ordered as specified and exactly what I needed. Easy to order and arrived in good time. Only disappointment is the crazy size of packaging for such a small item - the postman had a good laugh - thought he was delivering an empty box!

Was initially furious that Bax didn't deliver as promised on their web-site. Then when I called they didn't know where package was and advised it would take up to a week to review CCTV before being in a position to offer a refund. So clearly stalling. I checked status of order 2 days later and it was on it's way. Bax didn't contact me to advise or keep me informed as promised. As now having finally received equipment, it was all new and in good condition.
Purchased a B stock guitar, didn't mention anything on the description about the problems, all it said was it was a customer return, may be signs of use and packaging damage, the guitar wasnt checked properly, the volume and tone knobs were very loose and easily came off when turned.
The pickup height was low so I tried to adjust them, when I did they just came loose, they were pretty much screwed directly to the body, because they wouldn't go any higher they just sounded very weak.
The bridge pins were loose so when I used the whammy the posts holding the bridge would come out making the guitar constantly go out of tune.
I've also had nothing but trouble trying to send it back, customer service is absolutely terrible, takes days for them to reply and no one seems to have a clue.
I explained to them that I was disabled and couldn't get out to drop the guitar off at the post office, I asked if someone could collect it instead, days went buy yet again and then a message saying they would send a courier to collect it but it would cost £24.95, what a joke, I told them no way am I paying that, I said I would try and find someone who could drop it off for me, I said I didn't have a printer to attach a label, they said it was ok because the post office would print one for me, so I got a neighbor to take it for me only to find out when they got there that they couldn't print a label and that they would need a printer to print the label, obviously my neighbor wasn't happy, I felt so bad they had gone out of there way only to be turned away so now here I am back with the guitar and not knowing what to do with it, my neighbor didn't have a printer and I have no one else to ask, I can't believe they were going to charge me £24.95 to have it collected, they only changed me £6.99 I think it was...Still waiting to here back from them, I told them I'm going to take this further and speak to ombudsman and see if they can help me sort this, I just want this piece of crap guitar sent back and my money refunded.
I really wouldn't waste your time buying with this company, it's been more hastle than it's worth!
