I recently ordered the Peyton Place series. Since I had already seen the first season and part of the second one, about the first 160 episodes, I put in disc 11 to pick up where I had left off. Disc 11 would not play. I checked all the discs, every third disk will not play (discs 2, 5, 8, 11, 14, 17, 20, 23, 26, 29, 32, 35, 38 and 41). I contacted Classic DVD World and within just a few days they sent me replacement discs, they also said they would refund $15 to my bank account for my trouble. You can't ask for more than that. Everybody's human, we all make mistakes but they made it right!

I can only go by my experience and while there was a mistake, they corrected it swiftly. I'm happy.

I was very pleased with the quick-service I got from classic DVD world. They said it would be at least 10 days for shipping notification. I received it in 6 days a my order arrived a few days later
The description was accurate about the video quality and I was fine with it. The main thing is I now have the entire series Once Again. I had it once years ago but it was lost in a fire. Thank you classic DVD world!
I wanted to love it, everything went really well until I received my order. I ordered the Chicago Hope Series and I have been going through the discs and a lot of the discs have errors on them so all of the episodes don't work, more discs have errors than don't. I have emailed Classic DVD World 2 times and have never received a response from them. I am sad because I really wanted to believe they were an honest company.

I see a lot negative reviews of Classic DVD World on the internet. I certainly believe they have their issues, and don't doubt the negative stuff some experienced, but they deserve the positive when they do come through. I ordered the complete series of Too Close for Comfort from them, and I got it within 2 weeks. The disc's are no frills, but so far they all play fine with easy to use menu's. I don't have the time to watch every epsidode to see if they play ok, but I did randomly select one episode from each disc, and they all played fine. Maybe some episodes won't play, but I dont anticipate that happening. The picture quality is what I expected, which is about VCR quality, which was expected. Decent though and very watchable. If you're expecting 4K you will be disappointed. All in all, I am very satisfied with my purchase and would purchase from them again. I do not believe they are a scam company at all.
Have been waiting sense may 7 to receive the 5 complete ordered been emailing everyday for a week bo answer from them only want what I ordered thank youthey cancel my order and suppose to refund but they are gift cards I don't have any more I ask card number and expiration date 3 different gift card no answer from them again without them I can't get it such a spam

Classic DVD World sells rare, hard to find, & obsolete tv shows. Discs are made to order, manufactured on demand, & shipped in a strong, well sealed box. Each disc has an interactive menu for fast episode selection. Viewing quality of Petticoat Junction is very good. Better than when the series was shown on tv, I reckon. At last count, there were over 130 tv series for sale.
I'd not heard of Classic DVD World until a couple of months ago. I was looking around online to buy old tv series. And couldn't find what I wanted on ebay or Amazon.
As I knew nothing about this company, I was very hesitant to buy from them. I live in Australia, so I knew that whatever I ordered wouldn't arrive in a hurry. I was very surprised that I only had to wait one month for Petticoat Junction to appear on my doorstep. Excellent service.
I have a problem with the first disc. The first episode is completely unwatchable because the disc is damaged. The next 5 episodes on the disc are fine, so thank god for that. Very disappointed that I can't watch the very 1st episode, I must say. For this reason, I'm only giving 4 stars for this review.
If you're looking for hard-to-find tv shows, you may very well find what you're looking for at Classic DVD World.
I purchased this set with the assumption that it was short just 1 episode. Many episodes were duplicated under different titles.
