Why does COUPON.COM downloaded/installed Software DISABLE MY INTERNAL HD?

Been plagued by this for months and finally, could not re-establish READ WRITE so I began uninstalling Software one at a time and rebooting and when it came to COUPONS.COM... PROBLEM WENT AWAY. REINSTALLED software... PROBLEM BACK, UNINSTALLED PROBLEM WENT AWAY, REINSTALLED. PROGLEM BACK. UNINSTALLED FOREVER and there is no problem with READ/WRITE access to my internal HD anymore.

You didn't get any "virus" from the CC software. You either already had the virus or downloaded it from a third party site. Besides your AV software, I would also advise you to run Malwarebytes.

Do a full system scan immediately to remove viruses that you got with the coupons.com software. Don't install any new software without checking the reviews.
