Is dating.com for real or just a scam with pictures of many supermodel made to make believe its real. Are people from diffrent countries and many miles apart really hooking up and finding their love?

The site is based on deception. You are right, the women are models. But you rarely get to correspond to these models: usually you communicate with a professional chat operator. The odds ate stacked against you on Dating. I was able to fnd a site with less fakes"

If you are realistic and choose a woman of your age there ( at least approximately your age, at least not 30 years younger than you) - you will easily meet her in real, like I did. I met several ladies ( which had never happened previously on Dating).

I did file a formal complaint with the FBI Internet Crime Division and recommend that everyone that writes negative reviews here do the same thing. And I think we all should get together and initiate a class action lawsuit against these people to get our money back.

Yes they are running a scam. It's not a dating site but an entertainment site. And yes there are fake profiles run by people that get paid to engage men and women in chat, letter writing, emoji buying, etc. They even admit that in their "About" files. Go there and look at paragraph 6 where is says, "How are free members motivated". Then at bullet statement number 5 it says, "Members are not paid to be on our site. It is strictly prohibited for our partners to pay free members to use our site in any way."
But just above that at bullet statement number 3 it says, "Free members can receive virtual gifts from paid members which they can use to promote their profile or exchange for money." Now that's admitting that they pay people to bilk you. Some of the "virtual gifts" are emoji's that cost you money, as much as $4,000 for one depending upon how you buy credits. They range in price from $15 to $2,000 if you buy 1,000 credits at a time which equals about $400. Oh wait, they give you one dollar off if you buy that many. So you'd have to do that five times to build yourself up to 2,000 credits. At the bottom of the chat window are pics of emojis that you just click on and it goes to the other person in chat. There is a Phoenix there that will cost you 4,999 credits. Do the math.
So you could spend thousands of dollars per day just chatting for an hour or so if you click on emojis. What adult needs or wants cartoon emojis? NONE! But there are many that want the profits. So these people are there to work you, to bilk you into spending money on them. The more you chat, write, open photos, send photos, look at videos, etc, the more you spend. DON'T USE THIS SITE if you value your hard earned money.

TOTAL SCAM! I paid to test and see because my first impression was really bad, very fake profiles with basically the same texts. I also found it weird that as soon as I looked at a profile the person would shoot me a message... and this site doesn't show who's viewing your profile... another strange fact is that you don't have the option to delete your profile. I deleted everything, my pictures but could not exclude it. Anyway, don't waste your money, total scam. I also bought credits 1 day and had to cancell/block my credit card because the site charged me 5 times in a row on the same day, so they also work with extorsion...

This Dating.com is a deception and robbery on a grave magnitude! They not ony steal money from
Subscribers but kill people with the trauma and emotional pain that the victims experience in the site. This is not a dating site. The free members dont want to reveal their identity neither video chat to verify if they are real. Multiple people representing one person in photo, chat with the paying subscriber. The site respondents give different answers for same questions to a suppose one person in photo and if you asked them why, they get mad and angry. They are rude and no manners. They do multiple charging for same days and time. The free members ask same questions like robots all the time. The site system automatically sends love letters and emails to the subscriber while the free members you're chatting with doesnt know and cant even access. Its so horrible! So many have been victimized based on several reviews. The positive reviews are coming from the site staff themselves with no one voting as helpful to dampened the amount of bad reviews of victims.

I reported the site to the FBI, too! I hope, they will investigate the case thoroughly.

IT IS A CRUEL SCAM! It makes us feel small and dumb. How is this allowed? Nobody has ever sue them? I think people need to try to sue them at least.

Definitely a scam! I am filing a complain with the Better Business Bureau. This is no dating website. It is designed to just rip people off with the excise of helping them finding love.

I agree with all the comments. This is a complete scam. The emotional and financial damage is horrible. I only had conversations with a man named EROS. I found out he was on the Norwegian dating.com under the name eros under case. He claims his name was Eros DaSilva...no such person. Claims he has a son Thiago, who was going to play for the Yankees. (Yeah right) I kept asking for a video chat or to see him in real time and he said he couldn't because of his "top secret" job. He said he owned a security company that worked with the military and he promised his clients, as part of their contract, that he would not be on any social media. (bull$#*!)

No it is not real (at least most of it). The images on Dating.com are stolen from other sites, eg Instagram, under a false name, using a made-up story which usually ends up in asking for money. It doesn't take much to work it out, just a few image searches on Google, but it is a waste of time and money. I don't know how these people are allowed to keep operating.
