$#*!'s Sporting Goods is a piece of $#*! store. I ordered a boat, it took over a month to never receive it. I was sent four of them and every single one that I received had forklift punctures in it and was unfloatable. So they were put back on to the truck. They don't care that wasted a total of five boats. Wasted shipping charges. Will NEVER deal with $#*!s stores ever again
Took over 3 months to receive 1 club. The order was supposed to be a 7-10 day event. Nobody knew anything they had my money they didn't care.when the club finally arrived after I had found a replacement they would not even consider taking it back or offer a credit. Very disappointing poor customer service. Said they would figure out a solution but never heard back from Dicks
I was there April 11 around 5:10 pm and I need help I ask the manager store 2 times he was with somebody else and I wait 2-3 minutes next to him for one little question and he didn't answer me, a ask 2 times and he looks at me and didn't answer me his not professional sorry, till he can say can you please wait 2 -3 minutes he spend 10 minutes with somebody else, he can come to me and ask me want is my question? I get out from there very very disappointed nobody was there too help me, I by first time soccer ball and really I need help.

Political monster pretending to be a sporting goods supplier. Not at all inclusive to sports as they frown on certain activities and banned sales. Bad bad bad. Shame on Dicks for being closed minded and not accepting of societal needs. One star only because I had to - deserving of zero stars.
Do Not take your golf clubs to trade. On their website, they give you a value, asking ONLY "used or damaged". I took mine in, intending to trade for credit towards new clubs, BUT their value is a lot less, and they acknowledged the difference, but reply was "it is what it is." This is "car salesman" ploy to get you in store, then get slammed, and their indifference is even more annoying. Calling on all golfers to boycott this tactic, and deal elsewhere.

I have always had a great experience in the Plainville location. But, I came across this Manager Emily whom I needed help from and she was so very rude! She rolled her eyes and sucked her teeth when I asked for her help! No customer should have to feel like a bother when asking for help. I won't be going back there and wouldn't recommend it either! I am so dissapointed!
I won't go into the store anymore because the teenagers (or 20-somethings that act worse than teens?) that run it are so unhelpful, unknowledgeable, irresponsible, and rude that I just get irritated. With the prices they charge, you'd think they could afford competent staff, but shareholders (people who get paid by a company for doing nothing) are more important than employee and customer satisfaction.
Be very careful at the warehouse in VA Beach, they moved us to a different register as the first was not working, but ended up charging us twice and after 3 months of back and forth, refuse to acknowledge the error.

Horrible experience, they sell malfunction e-bike and refused to give refund and they still haven't fix it
We bought an e-bike a-week ago on Friday, a Minooka for $1499 + $99 warranty. The safety check passed (open box, floor sample) but unable to turn in the power (electric), they said "Just charge it when you get home, the battery need to be charged 1st"
We charged the battery as instructed, the next day still NO POWER - never worked. We return it to the store in Southland, Aurora, where we purchased it, they tried to fix it - they said they'll call us when it's ready. One week later, still in the back room not fixed. I asked for a refund since it's broken (NO POWER) to begin with, the clerk (Erin) refused to give me refund and for us to just sit tight and wait until they fix it - "Not sure for how long…" she said "I have nothing else to say to you Mam, now I'm gonna move to next costumer"

I ordered a ping pong table a month ago. A purchase the cost well over $1000. I paid for delivery and set up. The only logistics company they have is AIG. It has been nothing but a nigh mare. 3 days waiting for AIG to arrive. I had to deal with their dispatcher, unprofessional customer services, texts telling me they are coming and it route for 8 hours then by 6:00 pm the no they are not coming text arrives... 3 different days! Tons of phone calls, text messages and a whole lot of wasted time. And, no I never received my ping pong table. They had my money over a month for nothing. Dicks shame on you for using such a terrible services as AIG. I have one very disappointed child. Shame on you Dicks.
They called the cops on me for trying on a pair of shoes an walking in them in the store. Never tried to leave the store and was in the process of shopping for other items I also had my 2 young daughters with me when this was all happening. I was arrested my mother had to pick up the kids and I was taken to jail for trying on a pair of shoes. I took it to court and in the video of the cops and the loss prevention guy they asked him what he wanted from this an he said a apprehension for him self. I still can't believe this happened and will never shop at dicks again. Who doesn't try on shoes when they are looking to buy some $#*!ing redicious!
My son got a gift card from here went to fair Oaks Va to use it the cashier took it and one that was partially used. He used the partial. Opened packet for other.gave to clerk and she said not activated and thew the whole thing away...he says receipt was on carrier...so called store and cs both so sorry no receipt no refund. Would not do threw drawer to get it...so we are out 50.

I quit going to Dicks when they stopped selling hunting equipment and apparel and I bought a LOT of it there. Decided I would go back to find a couple Dolphins football jerseys. They had nothing. Every time I've gone there they have nothing that I'm looking for. I'm astounded they are still in business and the store is always empty of customers. They are overpriced and stand behind nothing. That was my last trip there. Just another store that will fall to Amazon.
Dropped bike wheel off and told it would be 10 days. Heard nothing. Called twice and no returned call.
Went in store six days later (total of 16 day) and found wheel against wall with nothing done. Complained to Levi (apology) and Pete the manager (another apology). Pete offered "expedited" service but admitted the repair might take another two weeks. So much for expedition. I was offered shallow apologies with no suggested action. Truly disappointed in customer service. Took wheel to an independent shop for repair.
I placed an order over the weekend and the estimated delivery was set for Wednesday. Wednesday comes around and the item still hasn't been shipped. At this point, I wanted to cancel the order because it wasnt going to get here in time. I was told you can only cancel orders 30 minutes after an order is made. Customer service did nothing to expedite my order or figure out what the hold up was. Don't order products online if you have a deadline.
It's as simple as this. I purchase a sweater from Dicks and it was In the men's section for a gift. It was a female's sweater medium. I contacted customer service and there is no working with them. From suggesting I would pay the shipping to.nothing short of I need to drive back to the store to return of exchange it. The simple point is, if your Canadian, don't purchase in the good old USA. There is no return, exchange or refund.

Bought a crossbow from dicks sporting goods shot it 5 times and limbs started to split took it back to dicks and they wouldn't do anything about it. The bow was only 2 weeks old. DO NOT EVER use their delivery and setup service. It's terrible! Dick's contract's with AIT Logistics Worldwide and while they may be great at delivery in the rest if the world, they suck at it in Arkansas. They have changed the delivery date four times, changing excuses everytime. First time - his helper was sick, second time - he wrecked his truck, third time - it was rainy, fourth time - he misread the calendar! What an idiot!

After the first trip to buy a fishing pole it all went down hill. The tip eyelet of the pole was broken two weeks later she can't find the pole and may not be able to give me a complete refund. Then she ordered one for me. They send their poles in single layer cardboard. The box comes bent in half, the pole is broken into three pieces and Even the Rod was broken in three pieces! I bring that back to get another combo set. All was well for about two weeks, and then the reel flip lever breaks. Now for whatever reason I exchanged that one too. I just pulled the new combo out... to find that the reel is missing a very important knob. I am done. I would advise you do not purchase fishing gear from Dicks.
I tried to return an item without a receipt but with my card statement but the system couldn't locate it. The two clerks who helped me were very useless. Ruben was very professional and helpful. With his info to call customer service to locate my receipt I'm finally able to get a refund

Oct 12,2023. I tried to return a $10 purchase without a receipt. OK, charge a 10%, even 20% fee
But not almost 80%! The store manager said "$2.28 refund on $10 is the company policy."
She claims, "Someone, sometime bought the item with discounts for $2.28 so I may have." She could have said any amount, you won't know whether that's accurate.
She could tell I'm a financially comfortable, 84-year old, wearing a veteran hat and disabled. "She is still not permitted to use judgement" - it's the billion dollar Co's policy!

The only reason I'm giving one star is because I had to put a star. I ordered a package and it says it will be delivered on a certain day, I understand things happen and sometimes stuff gets pushed back but the problem I'm having is when you get a text message and email saying your package is on its way today you should expect your package today correct?! But NO this is not the case I click on the link to track the package and they have a whole totally different day (June 22). Then when I call customer service they say it's out of there hands that it's not there responsibly no more! What kind of customer service is that. As a business you are suppose to make sure your there to help your customer all the way up until they receive the package just in case something happens to it. But for you to be like it's not there problem anymore to call ups just doesn't sit right with me. I order things online all the time and never had this horrible experience will never order from them again!

This is my second Dick's order to never arrive. The order doesn't show up in my account and when I try to track the order, I receive an error. When I talked to a rep she told me they switched the shipping to same day delivery and it was on the way. It was not.I did not want same day delivery due to the huge problems I had on my last order. I am sure I will be spending more time on the phone trying to get my money back.
Last time, since it was a same day delivery order, they made me call DoorDash (a 30 minute call) and then call them back. I still never received the refund on that order nor did they credit any of the points back as promised. Avoid ordering anything from this company's website.

I stayed in this store fir more than 40 minutes, trying to get someone to help me find Shin Guard for my grandson. I even went up front to speak to personnel in the store. The young man got on his little speaker to try to get someone to help me, I stood 10 more minutes waiting. Left the store without being served.
All of th it s was after my husband and I had bought two pairs of shoes.
My partner and I have been waiting on a kayak since middle of May and the pilot company who works with Dick's Sporting goods and handles freight shipping said our kayak should be here over a week ago and when we called to check they said once it gets to this location another shipping company will call us and we have yet to receive any calls even though it's been at the location since our expected delivery date. Over a week ago. But we called dicks and they are returning the 250 shipping fee and going to call to figure out where our kayak is. Very grateful they are doing something about the issue
