I have taken 15 courses through Ed2Go in the past 8 months. I get these courses free with my public library card (you'll have to check if your library card can get you deals too). These courses are divided into 12 lessons over 6 weeks. They are online and can be done within 1-2 hours/lesson. Sometimes I take longer because all the lessons include assignments and it really depends on how far you want to go with those assignments. Sometimes I feel nerdy, sometimes I just want to move on. Totally up to you.
I purchased the course for cybersecurity and it's a true disappointment, what you do is just viewing powerpoints, and it's not at your own pace the labs are timed and they will never encourage you to continue, also you need to purchase the Pro version for Windows to use all the virtual machines without issues, the coaching is the worst thing and the people is so rude and inpatient with you if you don't get the topic, even they try they think you are stupid and wasting their time. I really recommend not to choose this as your option for studying this career, see other options, this is a total scam $4k to trash. Forgot to mention that their costumer service is S$&t and to ask a proof it will take you 3+ days for them to give you a a proof of studies.

I paid $300 for some Corporate Drafting courses. The classes are open enrollment every 3 months. I had an emergency and could not start the course. Ed2go refused to let me start the same course in the next 3 months. They took my money and basically said "to bad." They then claimed there was 14 day period, which I did not receive. I don't know any place where one takes classes and the school will not work with you in critical situations until now. Who has $300 to give away? If you have an emergency this company will say thanks for the cash! How will you know if you're going to have an emergency? Best to check with an actual school or another online service, this one is happy to take your money and run!

None, the company refused to work with me at all and took my money.
They mentioned a 14 day time period, but I never received anything saying that.
I completed their Certified Medical Administrative Assistant program about a year ago. It was so not worth the money it cost. All you did was read a book, watch a few clips, answer questions and take an easy test at the end of each chapter. Thought we would be using software of some kind to mimic working in an office or anything but what we did.
When I enrolled in this class I had really high hopes for it because it's provided through a very reputable state school. I have been so incredibly disappointed to find that it's just a bunch of read, click, read, click. How is it possible that in 2022 anyone thinks that kind of 'learning' could be engaging? I was sure there would be some interaction or at least some videos to break up all of the reading. The most interactive it gets is when you can click on a box that expands to show - you guessed it - MORE READING. Let's get with the times. Students need to learn in fun and interesting ways in order to stay engaged. If I wanted to read for 3 hours a night I could have just bought the certification review book at a fraction of the cost of this program.
When I started the coding class, I was very excited and was able to get through the chapters easy. However, there was no really hands on help and when I completed the program and applied for an extership, our outside internship, they made it seem like there were several places to choose from, however I quickly received an email stating that I would need to find my own place- really? After it boasted about we will help you find a place to practices your skills? Total Fraud - the class itself was expensive and overall I feel like i did not get any value from this class. I have yet to take the exam, will do this in about three weeks, but after you finish the class, there is not option to go back and review - you are automatically cut off! I would not recommend this course at all - I wish I could get a refund - I could have done this on my own. Save your money people, not worth it.
I had health issues and applied for an extension. A month ago I was told I would receive a response back in 1-3 business days. I have been reaching out to them since then and have not received any sort of response regardless as to how and who I try to contact from their company. Being that I paid for this course to help me get a cert out of pocket I am really upset with their lack of professionalism and would highly advise anyone thinking of taking a course through them to steer clear and find a company that is actually interested in helping you get your cert.
Tip for consumers:
Find a site that cares about their students and actually responds to them

What a waste of time and money. The tech behind this site is absolutely horrible. The limited functionality makes you feel like it's some middle-school kid's tech class project.
No forethought, care, or concern about the student.
The content you can just google and find better.
Anyone who likes this platform is likely someone who works for them and is self-reviewing.
That, or they just got online within the last three months and find everything fascinating.
STAY AWAY. There are much better options.
Review:
The online course from ed2go was a disappointment. Once I paid, there was no support or monitoring of my progress. The course materials lacked depth and clarity, making it difficult to learn effectively. Additionally, there was no online community for interaction. I would not recommend this course due to lacking support and engagement.
Just finished an excellent Excel course in three sections through Excelsior College, NY. Highly recommended. Registered for SharePoint 2016 through another institution but still ed2go and dropped it within days. Confusing content, poor customer service, just frustrating. Had high expectations given the Excel experience. They also don't seem interested in feedback. Won't go back to ed2go. Checking out Lynda! So far great.
If you are taking continuing ed, classes, please do not click at the end of a Michigan Virtual class, where classes are offered. You will be mislead and lose money and time and energy. These courses are certificate only and it gets you nothing. I have lost money, time and credit taking classes here. It is unjust. Please, if you are taking classes for you teacher renewal, check with the State of Michigan and do NOT take ed2go,
Tip for consumers:
check with your state for teaching renewal to see if the school is listed. Money and a lot of time lost on a site that slips into Michigan Virtual at the end of one of their courses. They are approved, the courses that you can click into is not.

Don't believe the false advertisements for one-on-one assists or practical hands-on teaching with load boards, software, or anything other than information. You can find all the information you get from ed2go, on the internet for free. There are some courses that will give hands-on practice and assist for a cheaper price. Ed2go Freight Broker class online gives information. You will have to print your certificate from your email pages because a student reported them to BBB for never receiving one. They do not find agent placement after you complete the course, has they say. Keep short, find a better class. Ed2go freight broker class is not worth $1800. Throughout the course, there is never a teacher doing anything. They collect the money and go.
Tip for consumers:
Go to another course for cheaper, more assists and practical hands-on learning. Ed2go is not worth attending for $1800. You get nothing other than information than you can get off the internet for free. Also, the information on the internet often makes it easier to understand. Ed2go does not stick to one subject per chapter (no books) and extenses simple lesson into days. Ex. 6month course can be done in 1 month. Really overextended lessons, never attended by a teacher or anyone.

I took the Pharmacy Technician certification course. The course was primarily comprised of reading, writing, and sparsely watching short videos. This did not feel like enough and failed to properly prepare me for the technician certification test (the ED2GO tests should have been more challenging and had more relevant questions). In addition, many physical books did not arrive until months later. For example, I completed the course in about 5 months' time. 7 months after purchase I am just now receiving a lab kit for the course. Overal, I am very disappointed in my experience and believe this company to be a scam.
Tip for consumers:
I urge any universities that use ED2GO (as that is how I found them) to immediately disassociate from them.
What a bunch of crap and waist of money My poor son who has a disability btu has a brain was tricked into this crappy program and then to take the certification test and find things in the test that were not covered in the program. Shame on you my son only wanted something to show he can do it.
What a joke! I was told I could start my own business as a HVACR technician by taking the online course. Not true. I was told I was going to learn everything I needed to repair heating and cooling units. This class is for those who have their certification and are going for their NATE certification. When speaking to them on the phone and through email, the staff even admits it. I stopped paying for the classes so they blocked my access which fine. A year and a half later, I get turned over for the full amount of the loan. Even the instructor at Wake Tech Community College told me there is no way you can do this with out hands on training. The ed2go has not been helpful at all. Their answer is to "become a familiar face" in the business according to Chris Compton who is the brain child of this online program.
A mess. I wasn't in the class two weeks asked for refund and it took Stephanie Kelly a week to call me. She is not professional at all. I emailed and called and she just need to get better. I paid $70.00 i only got $52.00. Wrong just wrong. Durham Tech gave me all my money. Next time i will stay within my area. Wake Tech
I signed up for an instructor led course to study for the Project Management Professional certification. Unfortunately, the course material was riddled with errors, and the instructor was MIA. For example, the answer to the question of how to show leadership on a project was to "buy everyone t-shirts". That is obviously ridiculous, and the instructor would make up excuses as why the wrong answers were actually correct. Unfortunately I had purchased more than one class, and after the disaster the first class turned out to be, I asked for a refund on the other classes I hadn't taken. They refused.
Ed2Go set me up with First Associates/Vervent Inc for a student loan. This was the same bank that was indicted in the ITT scam. Everyone in that class action suit, got a total refund. Because I went through Ed2Go, I have to fight tooth and nail just to keep this off of my credit. Vervent Inc keeps lying to keep this on my credit report. The loan was disbursed Apr 2013 and it is still on my credit today, by saying the first delinquency was mar 2019. When in reality it was Jun 2013.

Most of the time page breaks and end up with Error message. When I try to pay the fee i had the same problem twice, finally I sign up a course now am notable to login with the user name and password again Error message.
After signing up for a course that was found to be misrepresented and paying down a large portion of money on said course. The decision was made that it would be useless to pursue. After discussing dropping the course and receiving a refund we were told it was past the 10 day refund policy, however it could be transferred to a different course with a transfer fee and any nonrefundable fees. So either way we are in to this "school" for probably a minimum of $1000 with nothing to show for it and no knowledge gained to help in a career field. This is nothing more than a money making scheme. Save yourself the hassle and the money and stay away from ed2go.

From my experience, Everything was terrible, You are not gonna learn anything is basically just textbook and selftaught! I learn more on youtube than the actually program that suppose to teach you! Now i'm in my 2 month I have to pay the total amount $3000! Because I'm not learning anything! Nobody is gonna help you! The instructor that suppose to help you will take forever to reply! If you are reading this is either you are reading the reviews or you are already fall a victim in this scam! THis is not okay! Spread it so no other student would fall for this!
The material is outdated. The "alleged" counselor that you are assigned never responds to your emails but they are quick to send a review link and request you give a good review. The professor has too many students to recall who you are
Minus 1 star was not an option. It is NOT instructor lead lectures and my course was $2,295. Search ed2go Reviews. It's just outdated articles going back to the 90s along with 3 flimsy books and YOU are to read about 300 hrs of it instead of having a professor giving video lectures and then the books as supplements. I just started and I am pointing out errors to them, not typos. They are links to these articles that are no longer working because the lecture material is so old. There is only a 3 to 5 minute blurb by a 'so called' instructor before they expect you to read excerpts from old articles as their lecture. DO NOT DO IT! - IT'S A RIPOFF!
I took the advanced hospital coding and CCS Prep program.
I didnt get my certificate because i still owed money to the program because I financed it.
After I paid off the program costs plus more because it was in collection, I contacted Education 2 Go for my certificate. I had no response for a long time I was told a generic statement that my program was "incomplete" and was told I need to re apply in the program pay the whole program cost to get a certificate. If this is a school, why cant I get any proof of the coursework that I completed and what was so called incomplete. I log into the website and it says i completed over 82 hours of coursework but they cannot tell me what was incomplete. The counselor then, told me it was many years ago. I havent forgot but the classes should still have some worth. Very Insulting and Suspicious of this so called school.
Purchased Full Stack Software Developer.
The first two units were extremely easy for me since I have prior knowledge of the topics. Moving into the following units I became so lost I couldn't continue.
In addition to that I have extreme extenuating circumstances preventing me from being able to proceed even if I wanted to. I reached out to customer service and explained my situation to see about getting a refund and they were very unhelpful, and were unable to even offer me a partial refund.
I wish I would have saved my money and just taken classes on LinkedIn or even just followed tutorials on YouTube.
SAVE YOUR MONEY!
Tip for consumers:
Don't take the Full stack software developer class. Save your money.
I signed up for the COC program that was offered at at the Community College in my state, it was a waste of money. All you're doing is reading and watching videos, you couldn't get anyone on the phone or respond to emails. I took the exam through AAPC and unfortunately I failed, after speaking with an instructor with AAPC I see how unprepared I was/am. Do not waste your money or your employers money. Beyond pissed
