To be honest, Asian population except in NYC and SF are nothing compared to other ethnicities, let alone many Asians feel the need for online dating. There are about 30-50 females or so and they get a free pass while men need to pay to message them. There is no niche market here as other online dating sites can filter Asian group without sacrificing the miss opportunities to check out other groups. Stay away!

Big shout out: don't sign up for EastMeetEast! They are pack of crooks and money fraud. You can hardly meet a real woman on their site, just a bunch of bots and outdated fake profiles. They give you nothing but automatically put you on a long-term subscription. You have to jump through rings of fire to cancel it. They deliberately make their cancellation policy very complicated, time-taking and misleading so that they can keep on stealing money from you. I regret having engaged with them because I wasted my money and now I'm having a hard time trying to cancel my subscription. $350 down the drain!

Some suggestions-Girls here seem to have a habit of not responding. There should be a indicator on their profile(visible to them and others) which shows % response rate. So we can stay away from time wasters. Some gentle nudge to them to respond (doesn't matter Yes or no). Maybe you can have button for them for simple response of yes/no/maybe. Not cool to pretend to be too cool. I know you want to make it easy for girls but men paying for service should get some response otherwise they would feel wasting time and cancel service. Thank you!

Most of the 'free' lady's profiles are fake. Especially when you are looking for above 40 years and older. None of the ladies write their full profile or the people behind don't have time to complete the fake details. So 90% of your smiles and chats never get response (less office staff to manage fake profiles). Do not waste your money on this site.

Don't waste your money guys! ALL the girl's profiles say they were active "more than 3 days ago", so basically you have no idea if any of them are active. I paid for the 3 month membership and there has been ZERO activity on there...asked for my money back, and NO RESPONSE...Total scam job!

I been scammed by a man with 3 warning signs:
A declaration of love from an early stage in the relationship.
Requests for money or financial assistance.
Avoiding giving basic details but asking you a lot of questions about your own situation

This is an awesome find! After trying many dating apps this app helped me finally meet an Asian girl with a cultural background before I was about to completely give up. Can't believe I didn't meet her before, she lives only 20 minutes drive away. Couldn't be better! Thank you EastMeetEast!

When you are not paying, the site send you constant reminders that people have visited you or expressed interest. When you do pay however, all communication stops.

This in itself is nearly bait-and-switch. More disconcertingly, however, is when you cancel, the services cancels at that point in time and forfeits the rest of your pay instead of cancelling until whatever time you have paid for runs out.

The end result is essentially people signing up for a sub, wasn't impressed but wanted to wait to see if there's any action, and highly likely forgets that they are still paying until they notice it on their card. Usually this is the subscriber's responsibility, but sending NO statements and NO communication about recurrent charges or otherwise cannot be described by any better words than scam.

This dating site is a scam. Bunch of scammers! Don't try putting your credit card or bank info. They just get money from my credit card without any notification or emails. I used it once and I was so dissatisfied. Don't fall for their advertisement! I'm so stupid to fall for it and I don't want to happen anyone else. Please stay away from this dating app.

I am an attractive white woman who gets 5-10 profile views daily, but not a single message or smile over several weeks (I am on Match and eHarmony and do not have the same issue). Just seems like the Asian men on this site are only looking for Asian women

Setup as an investor scam... white dudes with with asian fetish invading streams and annoying everyone. People getting paid to stream to attract subscribers. No real dating here folks, just bots, astroturfers and trolls.

Avoid this site at all cost. They secretly renew your subscription without telling you. When I dispute it with the credit card, they send the credit card company my private messages! Totally unacceptable!

I was on here for only a short time... less than a month and I met 3 men. They are good looking men. In the beginning they tried to lure you with romance but towards the end they want your money, I did not send any of them my money but I got them to confess who they really are. They used photos of other guys and posed as their own. If you are good with the internet you can do a reverse search to try to connect their stories to what you found. I met 4 guys in less than a month and all 4 are fake.

I've used all the dating site so far and this is by far the worse one. For six month I only got one date out of this. Tinder, coffee and OkCupid gave me way more days per month than this piece of $#*!. Stay away!

Auto-renewal is written in Terms you've agreed at the time of signup and purchase as well as Notes of pricing page. Unfortunately, there is a strict no refund policy for charge.

I can see you already cancelled your subscription but due to how the system is designed you lost access to the premium features, this was also explained in the Terms. All we can do now is to offer to put your premium features back only for this time since you already paid for those. Due to how the system is designed this is only possible by reinstating your subscription, in which case you will not be charged anything for the current period, but it will become your responsibility to manage subscription on time.

I talked a scammer from this app. He has pictures of a handsome/cute asian man. He tried to use ways to scam me for money. I did not transfer any money to him but I would like to alert users to beware. I really fell in love with him initially and this left me pretty depressed. I contacted the app but they did not respond.

I accidentally made a mistake on my subscription by choosing the wrong one and I emailed customer service for help. They got back to me and gave me instructions on how to get a refund, and it was really helpful.

Woman here. I met a few reasonable people, but they weren't the right match. It's certainly not as overwhelming and draining as other dating apps.

It does suck that some men can't see your messages, because they don't have a paid membership. You will get people from across the world who don't speak English sending smiles at you. I want to see more people in my area.

It's not bad trying the app out. I deactivated it, because it felt like there weren't too many men on there. Other sites have a higher amount of people.

The app was great and user friendly. Met alot of cool people and found what I was looking for. Customer service was very helpful regardinging my questions and concerns and help me. One of the best Asian dating app.

I like the service and idea of east meets east :) I guess all the 1-star review are from the members who didn't read the terms about auto-renewal which I think is their problem.
