This website should be so much more popular and well-known, in my opinion. It has a lot of high-quality information that isn't on Wikipedia or other *pedia sites.
But clearly the website is more for students or researchers digging into the details - for a quick overview on something, there are better sites out there.
Encyclopedia.com is owned and operated by HighBeam Research. At Encyclopedia.com, you get free access to nearly 200,000 reference entries from sources you can cite. Plus, more than 50,000 topic summaries feature related pictures, videos, topic summaries, and newspaper and magazine articles from around the world. Encyclopedia.com also provides innovative tools that allow you to rate and sort the reference content you find to be the most useful.
Their information within their text maybe the most accurate... But the way this site jumps around while you are trying to read it makes it impossible to read. So, while you are trying to read it an ad will pop into the article so you see it. That wouldn't be so bad if it only happened once. And the text shifts around it so you have to find where you were in the text. This sight is unusable so, it doesn't matter if the information is accurate or not.
Encyclopedia.com is a very popular and most access website for gain knowledge. Students are the real user of this site. This site is very useful for the lectures, students and researchers.
Was reading an article on the old testament, until i was shocked by the outrageous misinterpretations, that were presented as facts. To make matters worse, the lies were eloquently masked by more lies. Just absolute BS!
Any source that served as prior research and lead to these misconclusions, were clearly not written in the original language and highly biased.
I am mortified at the outright lies! (I. E. "the old Testament had been rewritten multiple times" - what absolute bullocks). It should be illegal to publish a text on Encyclopedia, when its misleadingly is sold as factual, even though its just poorly researched, subjective and biased opinion.
Wish i could report this article's author! Disappointing to find it on Encyclopedia. A place you'd think would gather factual Information. Not some random Ignorant's arrogant interpretation, presented as intelectualism. Not a reliable scource at all. Shame. The author's name is Martha Rampton. The article is "Rachel and Leah". 1st part is great. Then her personal interpretation is an utter disgrace.
Random nonsense is written on historical articles with no source references whatsoever.
Also filled with opinions instead of facts.
I can say that the Encyclopedia is an Educational Hub. All information is available there. This is the most preferred site for Knowledge.
