Peyton Bates was outstanding. I would still be lost if he didn't stop in and help us pick the right plan that day. He was patient, enthusiastic, and he still checks in weekly to make sure we are doing well! 10/10
They gave me one quote option - the same company I was already using! Terrible, horrible, service... likely scraping your info to sell to scammers. Do Not Use.

I never asked to be called by people offering insurance. Do not fill in any information because they will spam you. I was curious to see how much it would be to insure a car I was looking at.
Please stop calling *******050 I did not ask for any quotes of any kind. I am getting more than 6 calls a day and the representatives are stating they are from your organization. They state they will remove my phone number but it has yet to happen.
Tip for consumers:
Please stop calling this phone number *******050 I did not request a quote of any sort. If you have this phone number it is fraud.

After getting several quotes online for my elderly neighbor that were too expensive for him, he filled out his info on Everquote. He then got a text with an email link to The General insurance, and it was less than half the price I had been quoted by The General when I filled it out directly. Out of curiosity, I followed Everquote's link, and it took me to The General's purchase page. I proceded to go back through the quote info, and they had entered totally fabricated information, including a different state, city, and marital status in order to get the lowest price possible. The only things they had entered correctly were was this person's name and vin number. All other entries were fraudulent by the Everquote agent.
Illegal, and attempting to defraud the elderly.

I purchase $1,000 worth of leads from EverQuote. 81 leads, 27 wrong or disconnected numbers with the rest saying they didn't ask to be called or just never answered (after calling multiple/multiple/multiple/multiple times). Something is NOT right with this company.
I kept entering my personal information on page after page and never got any insurance quotes. Then within hours I was receiving unwanted calls, text message and emails for services I don't need. Stay away from this site.
Tip for consumers:
Avoid this company.

We were looking around at different instances options and must've come across Ever Quote insurance agency. Big mistake! They've continued to call and harass me from different numbers multiple times a day. I've blocked it every time They've called but yet. I've told them multiple times that I'm not interested. Harassment is what they will do so please, for your sake, don't click on anything with that name or they'll start calling multiple times a day even after blocking the number

I'm going to use any insurance but this one!
The second you submit the form your phone gets attacked. I have been called 15 times in the past 30 mins ranging from insurance providers to some sort of Microsoft scam now. I don't know who they just provided my information to but this is pissing me off! Do NOT use this site. Wish I could give it negative stars.
Went back & forth with Kyle Van Cleef (if this is really his name) and told him we wanted only real time leads. He said. No problem. He took $1,000 from my Credit card (only authorized $500.00) and in 10 minutes we got 15 RECYCLED leads. Have been quoting leads for years & Everquote has won the contest for being lying crooks.
I've over 20 years experience in Life Insurance, and have worked legitimate lead programs before. I went with Everquote because of their endorsement from First Family Life. Wow! 45 "leads" that I was told were real time and had a high ratio of appointments set. Well 45 "leads" and I had ONE conversation with a prospective client. Any legitimate lead system you would have 15 or so appointments out of 45 on the low end. Given the high number of non-valid ph. No. S and addresses and literary no one answering their phone or text even after many attempts, leads me to believe they're just recycling old information and selling it as new for the most part. Exclusive, new, don't believe it.
I've been an agent subscribing to Everquote for the last 9 months or so. Services were ok at best. I get an email notice today letting me know that the price is going up. Unavoidable, I guess but when you read further, they very nonchalantly mention that they will now be sharing each lead with 3 other agents. In other words, my $50 "exclusive" leads will be no longer be exclusive and the price is going up to $55. Classic bait and switch. Why I am surprised? These lead services are all the same. Stay away from Everquote.
Where are the web cops when you need them (This site should not have a license to operate on the internet) Doesn't get any worse than this. Stay away!
Site is very user friendly, very professionally constructed, until you get the end results.
Agree with an earlier review (Sarah) Nothing but a scam to gather database information and then links to insurance companies where you have to start all over entering the info repeatedly for each company. Absolute waste of my time and left feeling ripped off for personal information
They just collect all your personal information and do nothing else. NO so-called instant quotes are provided. They just show you links to websites of insurance companies where you might as well have gone yourself. What a waste of time, and on top completely unethical.
I'd ask for an auto insurance quote and got immediate quotes from multiple agents. However, it's been a year now and I'm still getting quotes. There's no link in their FAQ to unsubscribe. By trial and error, I tried this... https://www.everquote.com/contact
I hope this works.
I have never contacted this company or any other insurance company in several years, yet for some reason today, October 12,2021, I began receiving tons of calls and text messages about insurance quotes. Clearly spam or a very bad database.

The idea sounds great, right? Enter your data once and get a bunch of insurance quotes, kind of like searching for airline tickets. Not quite. Every link you click takes you to a fresh page where you essentially start from ground zero filling in your information... again. The only actual quotes I got were from high-risk or drive by the mile or ridiculous priced insurance.
While the site does try to gather insurance ratings for you, you actually open up your phone and email to be bombarded by insurance ads. Within 30 minutes of submitting a quote, I was called 10 times, but 10 different companies and received quotes from the same 10 companies. Then when I got down to business, I was actually not saving any money, because the process doesn't take everything into account.
Just got a call from an Indian call center. The agent asked a lot of personal info. I never asked for a quote or contacted them. They're just cold calling. I told him I didn't want to give my name then the guy told me my first and last name. Creepy!
Now the phone keeps ringing. They sold my number as a lead to these insurance agents.
3 calls in 10 minutes!
This company and all of their pseudo names have been bombarding me for weeks with their spam mail. When I contacted the ONLY phone number they have I was told to "unsubscribe" but we know that only means that they will sell my information as an active email. The cowards only hang up when I asked to get a number or email for a corporate executive to stop the harassment. It is no wonder they have one star reviews on every site I have seen them on.
Tip for consumers:
ABSOLUTELY do NOT sign up for anything with them nor give them your personal contact information. They are not actually an insurance company but sell your information to existing companies which will bombard you with emails. They also use several other names and spam bots

They collect all your personal info (which is they can sell/use to make money even if you don't get anything from them) and then jerk you around sending you from one site to the next. You never get a quote - someone has to call you for that. By that time these clowns have your full name, birth date, address, phone number - everything they need to sell your info. To make money. Don't be dumb like me - stay far away from this bull $#*! site.
Nothing but a scam to gather database information and then links to insurance companies where you have to start all over entering the info repeatedly for each company. Absolute waste of my time and left feeling ripped off for personal information.
Filled out their online questionnaire, and then was given links to 4 sites, which then required additionally information to actually get a quote. Then the phone starts ringing with people wanting me to spend additional time to get quotes. Totally not what was advertised. When I explained this to the everquote rep who called all they did was get off the phone with me. So far I've received no quotes and am super annoyed. Would not recommend this service.
I checked that i did not want home insurance and never indicated that i wanted anyone to call me. But my phone was ringing off the hook before I even got any rates. SPAM calls now for days. DON"T ENTER YOUR INFO unless you like getting harassed by telemarketers. They have a privacy guarantee on their site which is BS because every caller had my info and i never authorized it.
If you want to get tons of calls and emails, sure otherwise go to insurance providers directly
They are just a referral service and not worth the hassle IMO
