I found them 10% cheaper than others. Then, they called to confirm the shipping insurance and added that on the total cost. At first, I said, no thanks - I can get at big store down the street. But, David explained that local will charge sales tax AND only 2 yr limited warranty, overall higher cost than 1stClassTV offers with shipping. I was impressed with the logic and added the FULL 5yr warranty. In total, it was STILL cheaper than local. I'm very happy to come across such a good deal.
They will call you after showing you the full price, collecting your credit card, and you placing the order online. They will say they need to add insurance and this is hundreds of dollars, making it the same price as anywhere else. When you cancel the order they will not respond to any requests to delete your personal data. I'm just waiting for the future credit card fraud since they have all my info now without ever charging anything.
I am going to be EXTREMELY specific. I purchased a Samsung QN65Q80RAFXZA 65" QLED TV along with a "FIVE YEAR Warranty for $1500". My TV died 30 days prior to the warranty expired. I made a claim to CPSCentral.com THIRTY DAYS before the warranty expired. The warranty company offer me a "settlement" for $645.00 (which in NO WAY will cover the cost of a replacement TV...NOT EVEN CLOSE) First Class TVs will NOT help me recovering the $1500 in order to purchase a new TV. The warranty company is a FRAUD and First Class TVs does NOT even own up to the BOGUS warranty. I got nothing but LIP SERVICE from Jacob and Michael at First Class TVs. The CPS company could care less and even tried to get me to locate my own service. They offered my a $100 amount in order to get the TV serviced. I called Samsung.com and they told me at MINIMUM for the service call it would bel $450.00. I am still without a TV after over a month. I am 72 and retired on a fixed income. I STRONGLY say to anyone thinking about purchasing a TV from these people to STAY AWAY. I PROMISE you WILL BE SORRY.
Exactly as others describe it, it's a scam; they list the tv much lower, then call you the next day saying the freight carrier requires insurance on your 'free' shipping. Cancelled order, don't waste your time.
Yes, all looks good on the website and at checkout with cost but they want your phone number so they can call you and add on more required cost, shipping insurance as he tell me can't be calculated due to various zip codes, I laughed! "your computer at check out can't calculate cost for different distances of zip codes?" I told him this is poor sells ethics to add more cost after check out, cancel order! True reason they want your phone number, it's a intimidation tactic to put the purchaser on the spot with a phone call
Got a wonderful deal on a beautiful tv. From start to finish First Class TV's were prompt on setting up delivery and finishing the delivery. Highly recommended for anyone in need of great tv at low prices!

Tip for consumers:
Don’t believe the free shipping scam. They charge hundreds to insure the shipping.

They advertise free shipping on their site. You place your order. A day or two later they call you and say you have to pay mandatory insurance for the shipment. You push back but then panic because the TV was a good deal and cave like a fool. You hang up and immediate want to punch yourself. Would never order from these scumbags again, I hope they go bankrupt with practices like this.
I was called hours after placing my order, being pitched a "mandatory" shipping insurance of $200. When I asked about the free shipping, they said they technically can't ship something this expensive for free. I ultimately agreed, as the price with insurance was still a little less than major retailers. Two weeks later, I received no shipping notification. When I inquired, I received an automated reply that their offices are closed for 2+ weeks due to relocation, but their e-mails are being monitored. After repeat calls and e-mails about the status of my order, no answer. Was forced to dispute the charge with my credit card.
Insurance is not already included in the price as very clearly stated in the shipping policies on the website since we try to offer the best prices in the nation for our TVs. Shipping insurance is a variable cost and changes based on factors such as location, TV dimensions, weight. In order to keep the price low and give every customer their best possible price it is quoted afterwards. For example, if Joe lives in North Carolina he may only pay 3.5% shipping insurance rate but Tom who lives in Oregon may pay 11%. If we made it flat rate every customer would have to pay the highest amount which is 12%. This way we can help our customers save the most money! EVEN AFTER SHIPPING INSURANCE YOU ARE STILL SAVING CLOSE TO $1000 VS. RETAILS PRICE!
Once you check out they then call you to tell you that u need to buy insurance for freight delivery which is another $200-300.
Hence the price you see at check out claiming to be free shipping is not what u will end up paying. Its a complete fraud and misleading. I cancelled my order, so as to not support such practices.
Very pleased with First Class TV, communication and shipping, even paying insurance etc. overall the price was way more competitive than retail or other online stores that I checked. It allowed me to save on the cost on top of being able to upgrade the TV model as a result of the savings. I did not mind waiting for the TV to arrive, if I wanted to pay hundreds more, I could have gone to a local Electronics outlet (and I did check) and had it the next day, well worth the wait. Shipping was a good experience, the shipping company checked the condition of the TV before they left and even put into my house. I would have hated to have maneuvered that size box. Pleased with the purchase and process.
Great service, I bought the LG 65inch c8 and the price beat out the competition. Can't get it cheaper anywhere else. I received it in about 2 weeks. The TV is a cut above the rest. Awesome picture the colors just explode off the screen. I plan to buy all my tv's from First Class TV. Great Job guys.
In reading other reviews that complained about shipping insurance, if you read the description thoroughly, it clearly states this additional charge. Even with the shipping insurance, the overall price with an extended warranty was the most reasonable of any. I received a follow-up call immediately after my online purchase to confirm the details. While my delivery was later than expected, the delivery company did respond to my inquiry promptly to advise of a new date. Further, the delivery personnel were friendly and efficient, testing my television to ensure everything worked. We put off upgrading our television for years but finally bit the bullet and purchased the LGOLED65" Smart TV... wow! Exceeded our expectations!
I was skeptical at first because the pricing was so good but I'm glad I went thru with it. Got exactly what we ordered and everything went smoothly on the delivery. Wouldn't buy a TV from anywhere else.
Great deal on an LG OLED. Fast processing and shipping. They do call to up-sell additional services, but very polite and friendly. The additional insurance looked like a good deal for the price but I was tapped out so I declined. Agent was still nice. Still waiting on tv, will update if any issues.
First time I ordered from First Class TVs, and I was a bit anxious about doing so. My customer service rep was fabulous. He was very helpful with explaining questions regarding TV models. I was concerned about damage during shipping, and I was pleased that they had shipping insurance, and as the price was substantially less than I could have purchased the TV locally did not mind the extra cost.
The delivery service was very professional. Contacted me ahead of time, as well as when they were on route to the house. Unboxed and tested TV quickly.
I will be telling my friends about First Class Tvs with a whole hearted recommendation.
Received the TV I purchased as advertised. It came with white glove delivery. The delivery was a little slow but it arrived and the drivers opened and inspected the item for damages before I signed. Love the TV and got a great great deal..
Product arrived quickly and flawless. Do be aware that there is shipping insurance that will be added on to the base price of the product, but because there isn't sales tax, it is still cheaper than buying locally.
I was able to get a great deal for an 82 in Samsung TV that was either overpriced or out of stock everywhere else I looked. I was not aware there would be a little extra in shipping charges after I placed my order, but still got a great deal, so no major complaints!
I ordered a TV on July 21 and by July 28 still hadn't heard anything from firstclasstvs about my order. I even sent multiple emails to their support address. Nothing. Complete radio silence. And their phone number 'conveniently' went straight to a recorded message about the business moving. There was no option to even leave a voice mail.
I thought about making this a 1-star review because I never got the TV - but I'll throw them a bone and add a star for their great prices. If you're lucky enough to actually get your order fulfilled, the low prices would be great.
Tip for consumers:
I'd call them on the phone first, to make sure the business is operational (and not in some permanent "business is moving" state) before placing an order.
Overall the TV came undamaged as expected. -1 star because of the unadvertised shipping insurance of over $100 which was charged after the purchase; that should be up front and part of the cost in the website. Also communication could be better about when to expect shipping / tracking information. Lastly as of 1/29/2020 they aren't an authorized seller for LG and as a result having an issue trying to get the Disney+ promotion.

I ordered my TV from First Class TV because their price was so good, and their reviews were pretty good. While I still wonder about my decision because of the risks involved, I have had a change of heart on the company from my original one star review. My issue, at this time, is having a problem with the freight company they use, AM Home Delivery, to deliver my TV. While this issue indirectly reflects on First Class TV, I believe now that they have shown due diligence in helping me resolve the issue, and I do believe they are a legitimate seller. They just need a more reliable shipping company even if it costs a little extra, or they need to have a serious heart to heart with the carrier. AM Home Delivery seems to be the real fly in the ointment. They are unreliable, and are outright liars..
My husband bought a brand new Sams 55' QLED TV a week ago and we all amazed with the picture! I've never thought the pics and movies can be so realistic, btw the shipping and installation was fast and easy, but the price is not that low.
One thing about living in the good old USA, the abundance of companies willing to serve you. First class TVs is among them. Even with the added cost of insurance, they still had the lowest cost overall. That being said, I wish that they add that extra cost info on their
Online website instead of a follow up email asking you to call to inform you of the additional cost. By the way, the LG OLED TV is GREAT.
INITIAL PRICE WAS MUCH LOWER THAN OUR LOCAL COMPANY.
BY THE TIME THEY WERE THROUGH ADDING THEIR "NECESSARY
FEES" THE PRICES WERE ALMOST THE SAME AS LOCALLY.
WE WERE PROMISED 'WHITE GLOVE' DELIVERY WITHIN A WEEK. "DUE TO THE HOLIDAYS", IT TOOK SEVERAL WEEKS. THE 'WHITE GLOVE' SERVICE ENTAILED TWO THUGS PLUGGING IN THE T. V. TO SHOW ME IT HAD POWER. THEN THEY LEFT THE T. V. IN THE BOX ON THE FLOOR.
WE HAVE HAD TROUBLE WITH THE SOUND FROM DAY ONE.
BUT, JUST DON'T WANT TO DEAL WITH THEM.
The TV is excellent. The shipping company used, AM trucking, left a LOT to be desired. It took numerous calls to confirm delivery and no accommodations were made for my schedule. Extremely poor customer satisfaction.
Ordered mid July, order sat in processing for a long time. TV finally showed up in late September. Product was as advertised and works well, but not sure why it is so hard to process an order and ship in a reasonable time frame. Worth the extra few bucks to get it from amazon or somewhere local.
