At Helium 10, our biggest bottlenecks have been our workforce -- growing faster than we can find qualified people to fill positions. Finding the right people is tough. Freeeup made it easy for us to hire an EA when we really needed it. Nathan and his team vet the workers to ensure we're getting top talent to help scale our business. Pros: - You don't have to pay to apply for a job. Cons: - Low hourly rates available, very few offers with rates above $15 per hour. - Very few offers available. - Very long interview process. Overall, it might take hours to go through their chats, videocalls, etc. But then 99.9% of the clients are not being serious about offering a job and most of them are not even legit, most of them are startups or sidehustlers. They almost never come back to you or it takes them so long to "think about it", that when they do come back, you're already busy with other projects (that you received from other, more trustworthy platforms) Overall, it takes so much time to just go through this interview process, that it's not even worth the effort. - I've been using this platform for over two years with zero complains from my clients. Then all of the sudden they simply blocked my access without even notifying me in advance. They explained to me, that because I have a Russian passport, they have to stop working with me out of fear of further sanctions from the US government, etc. etc. Even though I don't even live in Russia! They answered me that in order to stay on the platform, I will have to submit an application using an ID of a different country. Like, seriously? Are you really asking me to change my citizenship just to stay on your platform? Their email to me was full of hypocrisy and discrimination. Overall, I would not recommend this platform to anyone. There are far better platforms out there.

First off, I nearly died when I got a call from Nathan who owns the company to thank me for signing up. That is not something I experience from any company. I wanted to hire a writer and they sent me 3 well vetted writers in a beautiful email intro. I picked one and she did a nice job. It was a great way to try out the service. I applied as one of the company's freelancers because I am so tired of using other platforms and ending up feeling disappointed and frustrated. I was surprised by how fast they actually process an application. In less than a week (I think it only took me 4 days?), from applying to being accepted, I already landed my first client.
I intend to stay here at Freeeup because they only choose the top 1% of applicants to ensure quality outputs, and being one of them is such great honor.
I wish I applied earlier. For months I would patiently wait for my job applications to be processed. Some platforms would take a month before delivering the results. Here I can see how they value time, and everyone is so productive. I also like the support that they give to freelancers and the guarantee that they provide for clients. These are simply priceless!

FreeeUp takes the uncertainty of screening people away and lets you focus on the thing that matters the most: working with VAs.
The whole process is transparent, there are no hidden fees. The team at FreeeUp is very responsive and Nathan is super hands-on with all of his clients' queries which I really appreciate.

I've spent hours of my time on top of thousands of dollars on hiring from a variety of sites like Upwork and Fiverr. NONE OF THEM compare to FreeeUp... not even close!
FreeeUp is a marketplace for freelancers that actually values both parties. Their VAs are highly qualified, phenomenal at communication, and (honestly) more organized than I am!

I learned of FreeeUp by chance and I'm glad I did. It came at a time when I needed to temporarily fill the shoes of a long term employee that left my company. I brought on a VA for one of my businesses and they have been great and a tiny fraction of what an employee would cost. If you are a business owner considering hiring a freelancer or VA through FreeeUp I highly recommend you do. It will leverage your time and give you insurance if you have traditional employees. Nathan and his assistants are immediate in their response whenever I have a request or a question. 5 Stars service all around.

About 6 months ago, I ditched Fiverr and Upwork. I hire all of my freelancers through FreeeUp now and I haven't looked back ever since. The hiring is fast, efficient and the customer service is outstanding! More importantly however, they have amazing professional freelancers on their platform.

I was doing some headhunting on Upwork when I came across Freeeup and decided to join. I was surprised at how easy it was to find a quality programmer since they do the headhunting for you and just send you people who are ready to go and meet your criteria.
Their freelancer marketplace is what I would recommend to people other than Upwork or anywhere else.

FreeeUp has mastered sending us the best candidates so I don't have to.
And the caliber of freelancers is amazing, so far 0% turnover (fingers crossed).

Freeeup takes care of their freelancers. They have an internal support team that you can turn to 24/7. They keep things simple and easy from job application, to negotiation of rates, to tracking your clients/pay, to getting paid. They have nice clients and plenty of long term projects as well.
If you're a freelancer, you've got to have Freeeup!
