Honestly I don't get the customer service complaints. I was able to cancel my backstage pass with someone whom shared the same language as me at 11 at night! They offered a discount and though I didn't have the funds at the time, it makes me want to come back to them when I do. I've been to a multiple of there stores and though they are pricier the employees who work their genuinely work there because there passionate about the company. It really makes me want to pay the premium to support their business.

Zero customer service; they never ship your items your orders don't hit your account history they ignore the emails there is no phone number and thankfully I used PayPal so I could dispute it there and try to get my money back, absolute scam
Worst online purchase I've ever done. Their customer service (if you care to call it that) is impossible to work with. They don't care about your purchase as long as they got your money. They keep giving me the run around and will refuse to help. Avoid any purchase from them if you can. I am still waiting for help to get my product delivered to me. What was supposed to be a birthday gift, might end up being a Christmas gift by the time they sort this out. That's if they care to get around to it.
These guys will not get back to you on your online orders and won't even let you cancel the damn order. If you wanna contact them you have to email them and they'll "get back to you within 2-3 business days" these guys suck. Go to Best Buy, GameStop, frickin Joes video games. Just never buy stuff from these useless losers

I don't even want to give it one star, a bunch of scammers, I'm 53 years old and my son collect pop dolls and I went in around Christmas time to get some and they said do you wanna sign up for the card "it's free" and I'm like sure, not knowing that they were gonna start charging my card $11.99 a month. I just called to cancel because I didn't even know that were charging my card. It's sure unlawful that they were using my debit card every month for my purchase that day. I told customer service that I would write a bad review on a daily basis. I never even activated the membership. SCAMMERS
Extremely slow shipping (not USPS, but leaving FYE warehouse) followed by receiving damaged records due to negligent packing. Customer service was slow, inefficient, and dismissive. Overall, pathetic. This company deserves to go out of business.

They listed an item as the rather valuable deluxe box set with LP, "12 bonus discs, multiple CDs and 5.1 Blu-ray. The picture they showed and the description clearly stated that this was the item they were selling. I even reached out to confirm it. They advised that it was correct. Then they sent me the single LP (after charging the full amount) and said they guess their inventory team got the listing wrong. Now we're dealing with the hassle of an unnecessary return. I just don't think they have their act together. If you want a trouble free experience I'd look elsewhere.

My daughter is a regular at FYE at the Jefferson Mall in Louisville, Ky. We made a purchase of more than $70 on Sunday, November 19,2023 at 2:32 in the afternoon. We try to make payment with a gift card and complete with cash. We had difficulty with the gift card balance, which upset the employee and she made unpleasant gestures towards me. I asked her for patience and reminded her that I was a customer, and she reacted by talking loudly to me and calling security to intimidate me. I am Hispanic, I felt discriminated against.
We are so spoiled by Amazon that when you buy things from other online stores, you expect the details to be honest, then you learn that stores like this have very little consideration for their customers and are not honest about the detail of your order or how long you will have to wait for it to arrive.
I ordered a really awesome Christmas present for somebody. The site said 2-3 days, but now it is Christmas eve, over a week later and they have not even started shipping it. So many online stores are scammers and I wish I looked at the reviews before shopping here. Oh well, too late now.
I literally just spent 30 minutes in the phone being explained the benefits of a backstage pass whilst trying to cancel it and was told TWICE "I'll just go ahead and keep your membership active." It took me cussing out the guy and having to explain that I am a college student who just wanted 10% off a product for him to cancel. I only called because the online way to cancel gave me a "404 Fail" every. Single. Time. Hate this place
I ordered a pop 3 weeks ago and just got an email saying that my order was cancelled because the manufacturer didn't have the item. It took them 3 weeks to let me know, I could have gotten it from amazon and would have had it in 2 days. Never ordering from here again.
The customer service sucks. Staff is rude as hell, at least at the store in Duluth, MN. They're just standing around the registers and acting like it's such a bother to rind a customer up. And. 05 a bag? I get it, the environment, but I bet those bags don't cost them a nickel. That's not even my complaint though. I don't expect my butte kissed for buying some graphic tees, but say hello and thank you. I get it, working retail sucks around the holidays…(try being a nurse during Covid, seriously, I'm not feeling your pain). The store was empty anyways. I went to purchase 2 pops from fye.com, order troubleshooting drained my bank account from about $400 to $19.69. I need food and to pay rent soon, these gifts weren't supposed to make me stave and sweat rent. I give fye zero stars out of one hundred thousand. Thanks fye, I hope your failing business can be solved by ripping off the general masses, definitely teaching people to be careful with my card number, don't need any scummy companies like fye getting their hands on your hard earned cash. Dying business model, you suck.

But I did have the unfortunate experience of buying something in the store and somehow got signed up for their VIP program. $11.99 every month (sometimes two charges in one month). My stupidity for not noticing sooner, but if you bought anything from FYE, you should take a look at your credit card statement. They corporate cancellation number is *******131 and I'm told I need to send a FAX to *******115. Really ticked off that they aren't honest about this program. I think the cashier signed me up without permission and now I need to go back and deal with it. When I tried to cancel my membership, the woman tried to sell me on keeping it. I was so angry. DO NOT BUY FROM FYE!
Beware they will sign you up for a monthly subscription that will charge you and not even tell you about it. This monthly membership is called a backstage VIP pass. This place should go bankrupt! Scammers!
Do not purchase items from this company. They will cancel items unexpectedly meanwhile you paid $16.99 for shipping and handling and they will not refund any part of that. So please be careful. Do not not open anything until you receive your full order in case you would like to return anything, etc. Don't waste your money!
I would in the past go to Fye for my purchases of movies both old and new. But in the past year it seems they are selling junk. The movie selection has gone to pot. When I ask for assistance. I must yell over the music playing at the time. There is no order to the movies and the employees seem to be geared to sell music.

I have ordered a lot from FYE. They have almost everything new or used. I have ordered used and the quality is still great for a cheaper price. Shipping time is fantastic. I have always gotten my orders ahead of the estimated ship time. Its highly recommended for all your movie and music needs.
Worse service ever. Show availability on line, but the items aren't, and no notification so you can cancel. Order enough for free shippimg, but charged more for that than was actually sent. What a scam.
Sadly, it seems that underhanded practices are being normalized and spread throughout our communities. The company exploits ignorant customers, by signing them up for an automatic subscriptions being marketed as "free magazines", or "10% discounts", all while not showing the customer the fine print. I am boycotting FYE, and all of its subsidiaries for the VERY underhanded practices that have been going on since 2018. My forced subscription started after my purchase in September, when I stated "no thank you. Maybe some other time" to the offer of "free" magazines and sub par discounts. I spent a total of 43 hours trying to open an account I did not make, just to cancel a subscription I did not want, or sign up for. Originally, the subscription was never advertised as such. The cashier mentioned the VIP programs discounts and pamphlets, but those things didn't seem enticing for me. Still, I was given a pamphlet, and a small booklet detailing the program. Funny enough, I don't even live near any FYE store fronts.
My point is that, I don't want to go for a lawsuit, but if I see another charge on my account, I might have to.

Tried the pass. In store guy was nice, explained what it does. He also explained how hard it would be to cancel and that the people on the phone would be pushy. He was correct. I tried to cancel. Customer service would not let me get a complete sentence in. When i got upset and said "just cancel it, I dont want it", within seconds he said its canceled, rattled off a confirmation number, his name, neither of which would he repeat, and hung up. Great customer service you have there.
I signed up for backstage pass membership and soon after tried canceling, as it was costing $12/month for something I wasn't even using. After I requested to cancel the membership, I was still being charged monthly. I tried disputing this with fye customer service, who claimed that they could not reimburse me due to their terms and conditions. Yet they manage to get away with charging my bank each month after I requested them to stop and cancel the membership. You'll get ripped off and robbed money from your bank account. Don't sign up!
