Three years after my initial subscription, and a very skeptical period, I was pleasantly surprised with the professional support I received from Geekbuddy. Well worth the money for someone like me, a busy, non-IT self employed professional. Thank your Xavier (tech). You were outstanding! You fixed an issue the support site of a leading global printer/scanner manufacturer could not fix! Keep rocking on Geekbuddy!

I just attempted to call, as I purchased a year's support, and the automated phone system won't permit me to proceed to press a number to either wait in the cue, or to request a call back. I pressed and pressed, yet the recording never recognized my pressing the numbers, and simply kept repeating the recorded message. I waited for over 5 minutes, yet nothing re. The system putting me through to someone, just a perpetual repeat of the automated greeting. I then went to the live chat, only to receive an auto response in the chat box stating, "We are away now"! Unbelievable! I will be requesting a full refund... not that such a joke of an organization will likely honor such a request. This service was an absolute waist of my money! Let's see if they read this, and respond to me to make things right. I will keep you posted.
Tip for consumers:
This is the worst service I have ever experienced! They don't answer the phone, and do not answer their "Live chat". Interesting way for a tech support company to do business. Absolutely appalling.

Thanks to Rᴇᴄᴜᴠᴀɪᴛ.ᴘᴡ unwavering commitment, I received a substantial portion of my investment funds back. It was an incredible relief, and I cannot express my gratitude enough. Their professionalism, integrity, and efficiency exceeded my expectations, making the entire recovery process significantly less stressful
My wife was having trouble with her previous anti-virus. I'd heard good things about Comodo, so I down-loaded it. In a trusting manner, I also down-loaded Geek Buddy. Next day she starts getting windows popping up saying she's got and virus,. "do you want to fix it?" She clicks. Now, she has a the option to talk or chat with a supporter; she chooses chat. He jumps-in and says "you have many problems and a virus. Your pc is also slow (not true)." He said the "free" Comodo and Geek Buddy down-load is only a trial and temporary. He says he'd fix it and she could have both options for a year for $99. No thanks. I removed Geekbuddy and will most likely get rid of Comodo. I had this happen before with another company. It seems to be the method of sales pitch these days. Beware! Scott C California

This site is horrible and scandalous stay away and don't trust them at all they will destroy your computer and tell lies and don't give them one red cent or you will be sorry it's always a different route than dealing with scammers like these Indians who can lie like a rug if zero stars was an option that is what they would get nothing like the service they provide so glad I was smart enough to not give them my bank info
The Internet Intrusion program began blocking my ability to print over my lan whenever I connected to a hotel WiFi, which is okay. Upon returning home, it would not re-enable. I worked on this for quite some time before I tried GeekBuddy. They looked around in my computer, and then I started hearing about how terrible my registry was and how my system files were corrupt. I use a deep-level un-installer, so I became suspicious. Sure enough, when I ran a registry cleaner, there were a couple of small things, but that was it. GeekBuddy was baiting and switching. Boo! Oh, and I fixed my own problem ultimately.

The internet security Comodo uses geek buddy, I've been working on a very simple issue that the registration code will not work, over an hour 3 hang ups and 4 non-responsive online chats.
Should be a zero start but it will not allow for it.
I have a 3 year plan.
I spent about 12 hours trying to get help, leaving phone messages, emails, online support. Tried for days. Can't even cancel my subscription!
The only way I was able to talk to someone is if I go to sales as if I wanted a new subscription. And as soon as that person got that I wasn't going to buy anything, he transferred me to a dead end call.
All the good reviews about this are FAKE!
How can people have a good service when others can't even reach someone. Not even virtually!?!?!
DO NOT BUY THIS
One star is only because you can't select zero!
I am a tax practitioner and run my own firm, with about half a dozen people working for me. We have about 10 computers installed in the office. Obviously we have had trouble time and again with one machine or the other and we have always had to send for those "trouble shooter guys" who'd appear with a grin and seek to put an end to your worries. But our worries always seemed to go on increasing. It was recently that one of my employees suggested trying out GeekBuddy. I should say that we are now in a much better position than before. We do have worries, but they have decreased in numbers and as regards gravity too. They are prompt and always available, at the click of a mouse or just a dial away. And the pricing part also seems OK for me.
I called for a specific issue and had a technician on a call with someone else while he was dealing with me. Unprofessional. Furthermore, the tech took 5 minutes to look at my computer and said he could not help. A waste of an hour. I will not be using this service again.
If you want an anti virus that destroys your pc than geekbuddy is right for you trust me these guys are nothing but stupid filthy scammers my advice is if you want help from a technician try calling a legit company that offers real technical support enough said
This service is a joke. If you have a lot of time on your hands and don't mind the trial and error method of problem solving, then I guess it would be OK. But my experience of spending OVER 4 HOURS on a chat, waiting and waiting for my technician to work on my computer (at the same time as multiple others I am sure) and no solution from when I started, then requesting to speak to a supervisor.-who could not talk to me fore 45 minutes... with a final result being finding out from the supervisor that the problem was with something that was not checked for 5 hours!
I called these guys looking for help unlocking a password. Two people told me they could help (Harrison, Randy) and then Jacob told me after I paid the $100 that they could not help. I know there are applications out there to help with this scenario but could not afford to try each on. I am going to fight their charge on AMEX and stop any future charges. I feel as though they were fraudulent and not worth the money.
It is over priced for the service, they ask all this personal info but don't really clean your computer. If wanting to cancel do it before your 30 days or they will not refund your money. Total scam just want your money.
I just called them for basic pricing information and was immediately asked for a ton of private information-- name?, state I reside in? What type of system I'm using? Email address?-- WTF?--- I could not get them to answer a basic question like-- what are your charges for virtual services-- I was then told by the phone rep that I needed to be placed on hold so she could see what my "specific" fees would be for my "issues"--- the only problem is that I NEVER told her what my issues were---- after 15 minutes of this game, I hung up.
I read the other reviews--- I'm outta here.
Beware! As I was setting up my new printer somehow they intercepted the website and proceeded to guide me down a crazy path.
Wanted to charge me $149 " One time fee!" to fix my computer and rid it of "several infections ".
Total bogus garbage. I was able to follow my new printer instructions to a T and not get sidetracked and within five minutes I was hooked up to Wi-Fi for air print.
I am a generous and nice when comes to reviews but geek buddy is a price of $#*! that gives you malware and virus and gives you the most $#*!ing annoying time with god dam pop ups at random $#*!.In conclusion don't install this steaming pile $#*! I give it 0 stars out of 10. P.s. To the makers of geek buddy $#*! YOU
Btw I'm giving it one star because there's no option for giving it 10 flame piles of donkey $#*!
Spent 12 hours on chat in the last 3 days with 6 different techs and an addition 4 hours running scans on my pc and never come close to repairing it. They will not talk to you about problem on phone they request you sign on to CHAT line and they just assign you to yet another tech to start the 4 hour ordeal all over. They have no sups. Or manager you can discuss with. Terrible service and very incompetent GEEKS and definitely not buddy's. Stay away from these guys. To bad they do not have a Negative star to rate these guys with.
Its horrible. It forced its self on my computer bringing other useless things to. False virus popups, slowing computers, the online tech people sound like robots even on the phone, its very hard to delete, if you still want a useable computer of any kind stay as far as you can.
Geekbuddy got into a conversation with me on "live" chat. They asked for permission to get access into my pc. I was going to say yes but then it hit me. I tried to delete everything that I was suspicious about and for some odd reason geekbuddy kept popping up and trying to make me talk to them. So I just said no and ended the chat. DONT TRUST THEM
Don, t have anything to do with this site. Had a guy phone me saying there was a problem with my computer, made me believe him, after giving me some random number from the computer, which i believed was some kind of security from microsoft. Needless to say, i got ript of £90. Would of been a lot more if i had more money in my account. As soon as i realised i was being scammed, i pulled the plug. Hey & guess what this guy did next, he had the cheek to phone me back four or five times & give me verbal $#*!, calling me bastard/wanker,& how i could do nothing to get my money back. If there, s really a GOD please let me run into this guy?
The Geek Buddies have come to the rescue repeatedly. I have it on 3 computers and they have some good programmers who will go deep into the computer to fix problems. They are available 24/7 and your Buddy will work tirelessly into the wee hours of the morning to find a solution to your problem. The only thing I want to warn about is to be sure you have time set aside when you want help. You need to be available to answer questions and to enter a password at restart.
Earlier I posted some negative comments about GeekBuddy. I have since realized that I had misunderstood the complete installation process for Comodo. I do apologize to GeekBuddy and also to readers of my post. Since installing Comodo and receiving assistance from GeekBuddy I have found their service to be quite satisfying.
Hi Geekbuddy, Matthew here. Just a quick comment to say, I will not remote control my PC to anyone ever again. I was speaking to Zander and promised me that if he remote controls my laptop to fix the issue I had on my laptop. He would fix it. So I did the dumb thing as pressed the "Remote MY PC" button. On one of the geeksupport pages, it keep flashing JOBS, so I kept looking at what they were fixing. After that, the fixes on the JOBS page had finished. Anyways to cut the long story short, I said to Zander that I will restart my laptop to see if any changes were made. I did the restart, a compaq red screen came up as my starting logo, then the screen went black, then dimmed, then after that it came up with a BSOD! After that, my windows software had recovered from a critical error, thankfully. So if my advice, is if you want to use Geekbuddy for help out with your pc issues. Don't. Even if you are using Comodo Internet Security 10 with the upgrade.
Matthew Scott
