I actually love Hautelook. I mainly buy kids clothes from here, and I think it is awesome that they have a return policy, which is so important with children. You really never know how things are going to fit, especially if you're trying new brands -- as Hautelook often showcases brands you may not know about. Their shipping takes longer than other flash sales sites, but I really don't mind. And I've never waited more than 3 weeks for anything. I have never had a bad experience buying or returning merchandise.
Sometimes you can find good deals, but 75% (3 out of 4) of my orders have either arrived with missing items or one a pair of sandals that broke after being worn 5 times. I will say that their customer service has been very good every time. This most recent order was just the last straw because I can't be running to Nordstrom Rack (which is not even in my city) to return stuff all the time.

I ordered an Urban Decay eye shadow palette for like $10 which is basically a steal. However, that was on June 5th... it's not June 21st, and I JUST got a confirmation saying my order will be shipping. I contacted customer service about a few days ago, and got no response just trying to find details about my order. I feel like the price just isn't worth it, It still doesn't have tracking info on it... so only the label has been created but it still hasn't shipped yet, very frustrating. Never had to wait this long for anything I've ever bought online. I would never recommend Haute Look to anyone, unless they don't care if they get their stuff ever.

SHOPPERS AWARE! Incredibly frustrating experience, several times over, so shame on me. Crooked business dealings. Wrong product shipped and no refund being offered. Blame is on Hautelook's partners... Check their Facebook page for the complaints and hopefully you will not fall victim to this company. Bad bad bad all around. Caution needed here! Regular retail prices are often exaggerated. Product descriptions inaccurate or not there-no one seems to proof/check at all. I have received substitutions and yes did receive credit and kept the item. Shipping is extremely slow. It was explained to me (by customer service) that the product was shipped to them, repackaged and then sent to me. You could direct order through Ebay and get it faster from Chinese manufacturer yourself. Unless you see mainstream familiar brands, I would advise shopping around. I find it hard to believe that this company is affiliated with the Nordstrom Brand.

In all my years of buying from Internet vendors this is the first time I've ever had one of them issue "store credit" for a return. I'm going to try and fight them through my bank's credit card department. I'll never buy anything from them again and strongly suggest that everyone stay away.

I order some eye shadows for my niece a birthday present August 18 today date is sep 28 lol now tell me why it takes so long I call customer service n they won't help you at all asked to talk to superior n they have to send a message for 48 hours never again and still waiting the worst experience site not happy at all

I read about this site on O magazine and it was named an editor's choice. They have a limited selection of sizes but a great range of designer brands. Right now they are giving away $20 credit to everyone who you refer so I thought I would post here and spread the word, but I'm not too sure how I will get credit for that. Ordered two nice shirts March 31, April 12 I get two emails, one shirt was shipped, the other is cancelled because they ran out I guess? After two weeks of waiting that's just b. S. right... well they refunded the cost of the shirt. Tax. And shipping to my gift card I used but stupid me I had thrown it away already so 30 dollar lesson for me! If you just have to buy from these shady people, at least keep all your info with you, because you most likely will need it, after 2 weeks of course.

The seller through HauteLook sent me the wrong rug (long story ending with an unused rug in my hall closet), a dress I received basically fell apart after the first wear, and a bracelet I ordered broke the second I took it out of the wrapping. Shabby product offering and customer service is TERRIBLE! They never admit fault and you can send things back... at your own expense and time taken to get it there of course. I deleted their app and refuse to shop again after no response when I asked them to reimburse me for the cost of sending the broken bracelet back. Ideeli is my homeboy. Amazing customer service - i. E. the customer is always right. They've even given me additional credit on top of fixing my problem. In return I spend a ton with them... probably too much but they make it that easy. HauteLook can take a hike.

First time I placed an order with them everything was fine. Received the item in about two weeks, which is slow but tolerable. The second time I was caught up in the "we didn't get the full order from the company" scam, and it's been over a month and still have not received my pair of boots or a refund. I am going to put the matter in dispute with the credit card company. Plus their customer service people on chat are RUDE. This is a really BS website. I could have ordered those same boots off of Amazon or Endless and had them by now. Don't waste your time and money by giving it to these fools.

Like many other reviews I thought I would be getting a great deal and prompt service (i. E. Gilt, Ruelala, etc.). After I ordered an item that I could actually buy cheaper directly from manufacturer, they took TWO MONTHS to let me know they were shipping my item. I called several times to get an update as well as ultimately trying to cancel my order to get a refund and was given the runaround. They will keep telling you that the item will ship in a day or two but a lot of the deals they run go through a third party supplier. They do not have contact info for these third parties!
I suggest going through the larger, more efficient deal sites!

I ordered an "Agate Dagger Necklace" This is what was written on everything except what I received "Crystal Cage Pendant Necklace" They are only alike in the fact that they are worn on a neck. This looks so cheap and horrible. Now I have to find a Nordstrom Rack to return it because it would cost me 5.95 (US) to send it back!
I took a gamble on this site because I really liked the necklace that I ordered--unfortunately that's not what they sent me. Now neither of these necklaces are on their site or the site of the wholesaler who supposedly makes it!
This is not a good business. I am so disappointed. So much for trying to treat myself to a nice birthday gift.

Don't use this site. My experience can only lead me to believe they engage in bait and switch tactics.

What's terrible about this site is the prices change very often so chances are great after you make a purchase 2-3 days later the price will be lowered and they won't give you the difference. You have to return it first then repurchase it at the lower price. Paying again for shipping. That's just too much work.

I ordered 4 pairs of summer wedges, only one arrived one month later. The other three still showing will be on the 16 ( after changing the arrival time two times) still waiting. I'll be returning the ones I got (cheap made), wait until Tuesday and will cancel everything at the N. Rack. I will use Hautelook for "online window shopping". It's bad that the logistics with the merchants and the shipping process is so poor, because they have the most easy to navigate and shopping cart placement.

I had a few reservations about ordering from them due to some bad reviews I've read but I found a pair of sunglasses I just had to have so I went for it. I have now ordered from the site twice and I don't know where all this negativity comes from. Perhaps they've improved their service due to the negative feedback. Each item has arrived exactly as ordered before the estimated shipping date the site quotes. I do agree their shipping prices are a little steep but this tends to be often true when the item you're purchasing is substantially less than the retail price. Overall I've had two great experiences and will continue to order from them until a bad one occurs.

Ive personally had several issues with this company and online ordering. Them shipping wrong items constantly... the app is inconsistent and difficult to use. Cant shop the web page unless you have the app.
Ive even heard they have been closing a lot of peoples accounts too... which is really bad for customer loyalty and disappointing to hear. I have decided not to order from them again. Too many other good option online now days. Other companies do it way better.

I purchased 8 pairs of shoes and 5 clothing items 4 weeks ago. 3 pairs of my shoes are "in transit," but there are untraceable, meaning Hautelook made a shipping label but never handed over to UPS. I've called the customer service number 3 times and have waited over 20 minutes only for my call to be hung up. I've tried several times to use customer service live chat, but that isn't working either. With their return policy being 45 days this is becoming a nightmare.

Of course they don't reply to SiteJabber. Absolutely awful customer service. They charge at point of sale and it could be a very long time before you receive your purchase. And pray that you receive what your ordered and in good condition otherwise you are really in for a battle. There are too many sites with better selection, prices and above all customer care. I would not buy anything from this site again.

This website is ridiculous. I ordered several items. 3 of these items were fashion jewelry. They looked like costume jewelry from Target. After waiting weeks for delivery, I was so disappointed because they were gifts.
I called and was put on hold for so long the customer service agent sent me a return label and said she would waive the shipping fee.
I felt a little better until it took weeks for them to receive the return package.
Then I received an email crediting only one of the three items in the package.
What kind of service is this? The website looked like it had promise but their customer service is terrible

Follow up on all purchases your items might not ship. They Do Not have real time inventory and will run multi event sales and not fulfilling even first event. Mean while they sit on your money waiting to see if you will notice. Case in fact ordered 2/11 finally got the truth today what a hassle

I wish I would have read reviews before placing an order. The deals they have on products we love is just completely not worth the wait or the bad customer service! I would rather pay full price on these items and receive them within a week! I placed two orders one on 1/19 the other on 1/20 lol I just received my Morphe order yesterday and my palette was broken! There was no "handle with care" sticker on the box so assume UPS man handled my box and ruined my palette. My theBalm products still have not shipped and I am worried I will receive them in the same condition. I have not heard back from Hautelook yet. If you are considering making a purchase off this website... don't do it! Unless you are willing to wait a whole month or more and have some of your products damaged be my guest.

Hautelook has some really high quality merchandise at low prices. I have ordered a couple of times and not received the items because they don't get the full order -- however, on those rare occasions, they have given me a credit to use towards future orders. It hasn't happened often, so overall I am very pleased with getting some of the same items that I have seen on Nordstrom a few months later at a substantial discount.
