That has been been my experience. They are happy to post positive reviews and help the owners but they are NOT at all interested in honest reviews to help "renters". I would strongly suggest going elsewhere and/or vetting your potential rental owner VERY carefully and ask for verifiable references that you can follow up with.

You got it they will not let you post a negative review on their site. You need to go to other sites to post something negative. This company is the worst I have ever seen!

I was also unable to post a negative comment on their site. From what I've read elsewhere, IF negative comments are posted, they are quickly removed.

The problem is be cause They are nos connected with Vrbo. The biggest problem is Home away advertise different to what the owner place in their site. I found through the owner of the place he found that what they offered and home away is different.

I agree with Paula R. I also advertise on Homeaway, and whatever a renter wants to post is posted. They do allow the advertiser to respond to it.

As an advertiser on homeaway I can assure you that negative reviews are posted. I have 18 five star reviews myself and received a poor 3 star review, unfairly I felt, but there was absolutely nothing I could do about it. I'd decorated the cottage commensurate with its age (100 years) but she wanted boutique. Difference in taste but it didn't warrant 3 stars.
