Used it a few times when i was looking for some alternatives other than the more known ones, and this one worked perfectly. The thing that caught my eye the first time i ever logged on the site was their extensive language and currency preferencers, they are pretty easy to set and the website interface is a little bit old-school which like. You don't really want flashy animations and shiny illustrations, you just want to book your hotel, get your confirmation, check some info about the hotel and get on with it. This site is particularly cool for that, prices are competitive and the website often provides pretty good deals and discounts as well. So, simple and east, streamlined, supportive, competitive, it has all the good ingredients to be a really good alternative.
Never booked through hotelone.com these scoundrels will trick you into booking a non-refundable hotel room with zero warning. Once you book, they bill you the full amount automatically and then it's almost impossible to get your credit card company to even reverse the charge. I had a booking a month in advance on a trip I had to cancel a month in advance & the hotel refused a refund as well!

I made a reservation through the Nugget Hotel website for a one night stay. When I received a confirmation through email, it was from HotelsOne! My reservation was highjacked by HotelsOne! I am not sure how it was done, but I had no intention of booking a reservation through HotelsOne after a very bad experience in the past. I paid $36 a night more than any other site on the internet. How can this company continue to remain in business? Where are the internet cops? Do not use HotelsOne!

We called the hotel to change our reservation they had no problem with it but couldn't change on their end because we booked through hotline.com. We called them and they refused to change it. Even tried to blame the hotel. He called the hotel and hung up on the lady we talked to. Never use, such a rip OFF.

We went on a cruise of the Norwegian Coast. We booked our room near SeaTac for our return.
The flight with Sweden Air was late and we missed our connection to Seattle. We could not make it to the hotel in SeaTac we had booked thru HotelsOne. We called the hotel to tell them we couldn't make it. They said there was nothing they could do because we booked with HotelsOne. HotelsOne refused our refund.
I highly recommend not to book with HotelsOne. Once they have your money, you cannot get a refund no matter what the circumstances are.

They take a room you can book through the hotel and upcharge. Avoid these clowns. Very bad. This is not a good way to book. Go directly to the hotel website.

Never use Hotelsone.com! I thought I was booking directly with the hotel but after I got the confirmation realized it was through Hotelsone. Not only would they not make any changes after calling back immediately I now find a $800 charge on my credit card from them and all they say is call my bank! They have no ability to look up charges. This is the worst company I have dealt with and I book thousands of dollar a year for travel. All Customer Service is offshore and only go off a script so you will get nowhere if it's not straight forward.

Beware. Beware. Beware.
This booking agent hides its name in small print above a big logo of the actual hotel you think you are booking with and even emails you with the prominent use of name of the hotel you think are booking - but with their site address in brackets thereafter. You THINK you've been booking directly with the hotel concerned but you haven't. You only find out after that a) you haven't booked the hotel directly AND b) you have been charged 100% of the cost WITH NO CANCELLATIONS ALLOWED AND NO REFUND.
Beware. Beware. Beware.

Had issues with hotel upon arrival and they were willing to refund money and waive cancellation fees but this site would not! Always go straight to hotel to book rooms! Worst customer service ever! DO NOT USE

Never book through them. When I booked, the web site made it seem like I was booking directly with the hotel. They charged me $838.44 but the hotel was only paid $605.74. It looks like they took my reservation and then made the actual reservation via Expedia and pocketed the difference. I never would have known if the hotel staff hadn't said my reservation was actually made through Expedia and I asked for a receipt which showed they were paid far less than I had paid.

: I have been on the phone with Hotelsone as somehow I saw this morning my reservation is showing tomorrow, Jan 20 and 21st. I know I put in July 20 and 21st. They (Hotelsone / Rep: Jenn) had me on hold while she called. I had called earlier to your reservations and spoke to Victor. He said changes had to be made through Hotelsone. She said when she called your hotel directly to try to change the date that the lady she spoke to said July 20 and 21s had a block for an event on for all rooms. I was booking for the Triathlon. She told me the lady she spoke to at your hotel was calling me directly, still awaiting that call. Hope there is some sort of option for July 20 and 21st as Hotelsone is the worst company I have dealt with and I don't want to be out $332.72 but Hotelsone is saying there is nothing they can do, nor refund! I've traveled over 35 years about each week on business, in the U.S. and overseas being around 70% each week. Very worst experience I have ever experienced!

Booked by phone because site was too buggy. Never got confirmation. Called 5 times, cut off twice mid call. Three times I was assured an emailed confirmation would be sent. Finally customer service person hand inputted confirmation and I stayed on the phone until I got it.
After hanging up, I scrolled down and saw that the charges were in US currency despite being quoted in Canadian funds and using my Cdn Visa card. Called back... AGAIN.
I have used hotels.com. Super service. This is where I thought i was going... these tricksters pop in place of your search. There is no reason to use this service, not with hotels, kayak and trivago out there. Better yet call the hotel directly. They pay a commission to these guys, and therefore you can swing a better deal through upgrade or breakfast included if they don't want to undercut the web sites that do a lot of their bookings...

Confirmed 3 people during booking, room was for two and hotelsone did nothing about it. We had to pay the extra cost, frustrating and ridiculous situation at the start of an otherwise smooth holiday. Cost me more than if I'd booked 2 rooms in same hotel through different website.
Customer service reasonably polite but admitted they misrepresented the rooms, and ultimately not helpful and not willing to support.
First and last time using them.

Refreshingly straightforward, thank you! Sometimes those who design websites (maybe computer geeks?) make things unnecessarily complicated for ordinary people and put me off doing things online. Happily, not so in this case! It was helpful too for getting an idea of the facilities which would be available.

Made a reservation by mistake (wanted 1/12 and put in 1/13) and they would not modify it. I noticed immediately it was incorrect and called them. They said it was not changeable and non-refundable. I then call the hotel the reservation was for the Kimpton in Phx and explained the situation to them and they were no help even though they had availability for the day needed. They said you have to deal with the third party HotelsOne. I was a day off on the date. HotelsOne explained for a fee they would change it and I asked what that fee was and it was the same as the reservation 325 buck, so basically no help. In summary I would never use Hotelsone to book any reservations. Horrible customer service!

First I have to say the front desk staff were pleasant and helpful. We chose the hotel based on several criteria with an in house restaurant near the top of the list. It was required because my husband is physically handicapped. However, the restaurant was closed. Finding a wheelchair accessible restaurant for every meal turned into a nightmare, so we will not choose the same hotel - or town - again.
It was an accident. I thought I was booking through the hotel itself as I booked from the hotel website. But the booking itself went well with no hiccups.

Website is deceiving as you think it is for a specific hotel, false info on rates a/v and hotelsone rate was certainly no deal. Did not tell me it was in US funds. When I called back next day to cancel -100% sure they had blocked my phone number but I was able to get thru right away by using another phone line. They did refund me but I am out $11.00 due to c\c exchange rates.

Overcharged by 50 dollars then gave us a less quality hotel room and when called no answer. RIP OFF! And you can't cancel if needed. Made us think we were dealing with hotel. SNEAKY. Just beware and don't do it.

How sad that a company these days, in an era of high levels of customer service because companies want your business, is able to stay afloat and be so horrible. I obviously mistakenly booked a hotel through them. When I received my confirmation, the total said $194. WHAT? I almost fell down, it was awfully high. So, $158 rate, $23 tax, $12.13 service fees. "Oh no, our company never charges fees. I do not see that on the bill." Apparently they could only "see" $35.13 total - not broken down. I asked if I could send them a copy of the confirmation THEY SENT ME and they said there was no way to do that. The supervisor was no help. Very upsetting. I told them this is the worst customer service I have ever had. It's only $12.13 but its the principle of the thing. I don't want to waste any of my hard earned money. Horrible, unfriendly people.

don't.

Do not waste your time or your money with this site.
Rates available directly with hotel were cheaper than those charged by this site. This company will also charge you up front, whereas the hotel would only have charged a deposit.
Raising a complaint has redirected me to yet another company, and has not been responded to in the time quoted. When I called for a status update (at the end of their quoted 10 day response time) and asked to escalate, the supervisor / manager is not available. Frankly, after my previous dealings with this company I do not believe it.
Will never use this website again

I was charged $164.03 for this stay (that is what appears on my Mastercard), while your site said it was only $118.77? Why such a large difference in price? I would appreciate an explanation for this.
On the other hand, I have heard good reviews about this hotel and would still like to stay there if possible, but not without an explanation. I am expecting to receive a refund. Thank-you.

I, as many others, did not pay adequate attention and thought I was on the actual hotel site and not a third party.
I had a sleepless night pondering if my reservation was actually booked, but it turned out it was. I did not save any money using it, and completely restricted my options because the whole amount is paid up front and not refunded. The purpose of my post is to put others at ease who have used it inadvertently, and fear fraud. It is not fraud. However, if you use it you will have no flexibility in changing anything. Well, you can change, but don't expect reimbursement.

My first booking for an hotel was very easy with no problems in navigating the website. However, when I tried to make a second booking at another location it would not accept my credit card (the same one I used for my first booking. After many attempts with no success, I contacted the motel direct.
The accommodation was not available on another site.
