Does anyone know how I can contact these people to cancel my subscription. The phone number that the provide is no longer in use. I'm really worried. Thanks in advance.

Contact your credit card company, tell them that InstantCheckmate is making unauthorized charges to your card; have your credit card company cancel your card and issue you a new one. I know, it sucks. That's what I had to do. For several months I got "declined payment" indicators listed in my online credit statement, which was good, because InstantCheckmate couldn't get their fraudulent charge to go through. The police, the FBI, or FTC or somebody needs to crack down on InstantCheckmate. I guess maybe it'll take a class action lawsuit against them. But really, the wisest thing to do is to cancel your credit card, have a new one issued -- and be extremely cautious and careful from now on to whom and where you use and give your credit card number. I know, it's a pain in the a##! Good luck. Cheers.

The only good thing that happened. I called to cancel only a few minutes after signing up. I had no difficulty.

You should still be careful when you cancel the service they can still charge you even if you get a new CC, you need to read the terms of use carefully they came back and charged my new card im like WTF I never even registered that card but guess what they got other search engines that operate under them so when you pay say people search keep your eyes open guess check mate vgot there hand in it, good to put an alert on your card so you get notified when a transaction takes place or flag them with your bank and all that are affiliated or associated with them then send them a demand for payment or a letter of intent there free on the net write on it they have 5 days to refund all monies taken and charged to your card if there is no reply within those 5 days you will without further notice file a class action lawsuit and charge them interest at the highest amount allowed by the state then say, 1st and last notice it is in your best interest to resolve this matter immediately to avoid any action to be taken. DO NOT IGNORE THIS REQUEST I did this and asked to be removed from there data requested not to sell give trade my info to anyone and to destroy all my info immediately thank you p.s. class action pending I did it it worked for me, GOOD LUCK joseesp88@--gn

There should be a number listed next to the charge on your credit card bill. But even so, you will likely have little luck talking to them like the rest of us tried. I had to dispute it with my credit card company.
