Internships has a rating of 1.1 stars from 15 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Internships ranks 10th among Internship sites.
We've had interns accept offers, then completely vanish. They don't respond to interview requests. Like why even apply? Very immature and unprofessional. This site does NOT generate reliable interns at all and is a waste of time.

Like the title says. Some Indian guy got me good pretending he was a HR executive at Reliance Capital. Chegg is the owner of this website. They don't seem to care really about complaints as the job posts are still there.
Signed up as an employer. I was looking for someone to bring onboard, but most of the links on the site are dead. Tried to search candidates, but account is always "under review". Doesn't seem to be anyone actually running the business. Maybe THEY need a few interns!
I signed up for this site as did a few of my friends but the site has become so popular among people looking for internships it is almost too competitive now I think and they have become very selective. I found better prospects so far sadly on craigslist. Still it is better than nothing so if you are looking I would try it out. Internmatch.com is also a good bet. Do them both and see what you get.
1. The system is always wrong in copying my resume from word file to their own system.
2. No way to make modifications on the school names, and location even through it is wrong by website's mistake.
3. No way to update the attached resumes. If you upload a new resume, your resume in their system get messed up and you have to spend hours to edit it over.
4. The interface sucks, worst job site ever used.
5. Just terrible! I guess they have never tested it by any real students before launch.
The past 7 positions I've heard back from on this site were all fraudulent. The first ended up stealing a large amount of money from me. The second "position" I was accepted for, when I called the company to ask a question, the company this scammer was claiming to be told me they don't offer any internships, and that the position on the site was definitely fake. This happened 3 more times. These scammers are pretending to be real companies. These real companies have great BBB ratings. But when you apply, you receive follow up emails that are written in poor english, and sent the same email every time. This happened to me 7 TIMES IN A ROW. Without a single real position. I'm done with this site. Don't use this. No one has time to filter through all the b. S.
I've never seen a website filled with as many scammers as this one. 5/5 with faulty and fraudulent job offers. I was quick enough to not get robbed, but each time I was interviewed for positions I was asked faulty questions. Don't use it. Not only that, but the people who run the website don't care about you getting scammed. Maybe they're in on it. Heed the warning though: don't use this website!
I tried using this site and the applicants were totally unreliable. We contacted 20 applicants,. We got replies from 7. Half of these had no qualifications for what we were looking for. Two interviews set up and the applicants never turned up. I contacted the site and they said they had no way of vetting applicants since the service is free and they wished me "the best in moving forward" basically telling me to get lost. I get it when running a service of this kind, that is free to employers, but then why not have a review of the applicants that you came in contact with and don; t tell me that there is nothing you can do.
Pathetic.
Stay away from this site. I paid $30 to get my resume on the top of all the applications as advertised on the internship.com. But I have not heard a word from any employers that I applied to. I think whoever created the site is making a lot of money by setting up the decoy to lure people in. Terrible experience. Waste of time and money.
This site is awful. I get jobs postings that are completely irrelevant to what I am searching for.
I am looking for "Accounting" and I get music industry that have nothing to do with accounting.
I get a list of jobs that are closed. Why show them to me? At least let me exclude "Closed" posting.
This website is just leading you into getting scammed. Your information is given to people looking to screw you over financially. I thought I had a internship as an assistant and I had all my savings wiped out.
Internship allows employers to advertise themselves as internship jobs but requesting for you to have experience. Employers aren't requesting for the familiarity of the field but actually proficiency. This site isn't helpful for anyone new in a field trying to gain experience. Don't waste your time with this company.
When they sent me a notice of an application I could not get back on the site. It would not accept my password or let me change it or let me sign in with Facebook. It's worthless.
I applied for the Customer Service post of Tufts Medical Center and a certain Kelvin Noah replied asking me $500 to be able to start the training. This is a red flag.
Its a total scam. It almost seams like the entire website is the scam artist.
