Read the specifications of the items. A lot of the furniture has wood veneers not solid wood, hence the cheaper prices. I purchased 2 chairs for $600 a piece. If I had seen them in a store, I probably won't have purchased them. I didn't want the hassle of taking them apart and repackaging for return. I can live with them, but don't love them. I have ordered many things from them and all have more than met with my high expectations... The way it is packaged is excellent too! Try it and if you don't like it just return it. So save the packing material for several days until you make up your mind to keep it! It is quality product and fair price compared to the ' box stores'

My guideline for buying anything online: Find it in another online store and read the reviews. If there are no reviews, don't risk it. This is just what I do since I too have been very disappointed with online purchases in the past.

I won't get furniture again with them-three times the furniture arrived damaged and the returns didn't go easily. On the last piece of furniture, they sent me a replacement, and I kept the other piece, because it was a storage unit, and the damage, though visible, didn't matter because its not in view. I thought the stuff didn't look as good as in the photo. I do think if you know something you want and have already seen it somewhere else, and its a good price on Joss and Main, then get it.

The dresser I got is beautiful. I'm very particular and I had recently moved into a new home wroth no built ins and needed drawers immediately. I took a rusk and have been extremely happy. Looks just like the photo and fits in with my much more expensive furniture.

They have lost 2 of my items on 2 separate occasions. Decent things for the price. You get what you pay for. I am now ordering from a different site.

Most of the décor is made in china.
Have not purchased much furniture. I suggest that you give it a try.
You can always return it.
