Jotform is a great free online service. It provides advanced form submissions. I was surprised how many conditions I can apply to specific questions on my form. They also have easy integration with payment, mailing marketing, google, dropbox. Jotform has endless options that provides a small business to create professional forms.
I signed up for free service to utilize Jotform for a Vietnam Veteran Breakfast my community and I will host this March 2024. I came across Jotform on youtube and it seemed like a good choice. I created 3 exceptional forms with hours and hours of fine tuning and input from multiple volunteers. I put my confidence in Jotform and was optimistic this process would save us time from doing it manually as we had done the previous year. Everything was going fine for about 3 weeks then today the QR codes stopped working, people are calling me, I am locked out. So, I reached out to customer service online and received an initial reply where I was asked to provide documentation that I am legitimate. I am like WHAT?!?! Why didn't they ask me about all this when I signed up. Customer Service says 24/7! I have tried to connect multiple times in the last 10 hours with no response. I complied with everything they asked for to prove my legitimacy. Shame on me for not backing up what I created! To recreate this would take a boat load of time. I don't know if I am more furious or heart broken. I pride myself on doing my best for my community and our Veterans. This makes me and my good efforts look unprofessional. And yes it makes Jotform look unprofessional too. Subscribers, buyer, user please BEWARE!

Jotform told us that we were on a legacy plan and that "as long as you don't change your subscription, you'll enjoy that price for the rest of your life." Then they renewed our subscription with a 58% increase. Their support has been unhelpful. I've asked for the issue to be addressed and escalated but all I get is an apology for the 'inconvenience'. To my mind this is a breach of trading laws, so we'll be talking to our legal team. I wish there was a way to leave a no star rating.

We reviewed your case and there seems to be some confusion due to the misinformation shown on the billing page for grandfathered accounts, and we are truly sorry about that. This has now been fixed. To further clarify, the amount displayed on the billing page before it was corrected was the discounted price, which is supposed to be the full price. Please note that the 50-percent discount you availed during the sale is a one-time offer. This means that your plan will auto-renew at the full price. This is the reason why you are seeing the full price on renewal. Our team has already applied a fix that corrects the price information on the billing page for grandfathered accounts. I have used Jotform for 3 years. I have recently encountered an issue with my existing forms where the form does not continue beyond the show/hide condition. No Jotform support in over 3 weeks since I first contacted them. I'm paying for a product that doesn't work.

Basically if you are considering jotform - run away!
There support is beyond useless, they will take hours to reply, and then they will send you a link to a page that does not even close to apply to your issue. Then they are gone for hours again, only to do the same again. Its been days and i still can't get an agent to actually read my question and attempt to answer it.

The service seems to work fine for awhile then it disappears.
If you do not re-do everything its gone. There is no help with customer service as they barely speak any english.

We used JotForm at a university that I worked for. It provided us with a fast easy way to collect data and disseminate via email. Jot Form enables the most basic users to be able to create forms for multiple purposes.

My previous review was one star. Since I'd paid for one year subscription, I've been able to get assistance that's helped significantly to my business. Their fees are listed for monthly versus yearly. That's something that could be better noted. Nonetheless, I'm extremely happy with how their forms are both created and easily completed by my clientele.

I have been going back-and-forth with their technical support team for weeks now. They sold me a product with HIPAA compliant data collection; however, when I started running into problems with missing data, system crashes, etc., the support team just says that they cannot provide support because my form is HIPAA protected. Unable to actually speak to someone on the phone. Their support services are horrible - avoid this company at all cost.

I am attempting to use their system for basic client forms and onboarding. We are an accounting firm that has a need for a jotform-like solution. I shared my login with a support team to download a form and have since been locked out of the system. Try contacting support, no response; I reached out to sales to see if I could pay for a more convenient solution, but their business case from free to enterprise requires a $500+ jump in price. Avoid at all costs you may get locked out and never see your client data again...

We are a non-profit and signed up for a year subscription. In the middle of our fundraising event they changed their allowed payment submissions which closed down our form. I reached out, and within 24 hours they had it back up. Today, I have another form which hasn't even gone live. It is in test mode and the link is getting an 'over quota' message and therefore won't load. I submitted a ticket, it supposedly was fixed last night, but this morning the over quota message is showing again.
I don't like that we purchased a subscription for x amount of forms and x amount of subscriptions for the year and they changed those numbers 4 months into our subscription. I'm constantly having to monitor the forms to ensure they are working properly. Does anyone have an alternative? I do not plan to renew my subscription as this has really been a painful experience for our non-profit.

I work for the county which recently switched over to using cheap Jotform. A form that used to take one page to print now takes a minimum of eight. It doesn't matter if the user is entering one item or 15 items, every line prints. The fonts are not adjustable and are huge. It takes me three times as long to review each form. I hate it so much.

I run a not-for-profit website and forms are a key part of the services and functionality I offer visitors. Two of my forms appear on 150 of my site's pages and I'm always needing to add more. Yet, I'm always surprised at how easy it is to use JotForm's form-building and integration tools. They really make it easy! If I ever have a question or problem that I can't figure out, their customer service team responds quickly and knowledgeably, and they are all so friendly. I appreciate JotForm and recommend them!

I have several issues with my forms that still remain unresolved. Customer service cannot give me an ETA on resolution and seems quite unmotivated to fix the issue. I wouldn't use JotForm. There are other solutions out there with better customer service.

I have used Jotform for my real estate coaching business for several years now to help hold my coaching clients accountable to their weekly goals and standards. At times there are glitches but it is easy to make changes and corrections with simple edits. It has been one of the easiest ways to track their work!

I run a wordpress site for my non-profit. Due to wordpress's security issues, I try to make all submission aspects of my site use external services. Jotform has solved multiple problems for me. I can now take donations on my site without paying for a wordpress plugin with questionable functionality that puts my donors at risk of identity theft. Second, I was able to build a submission system for my site's contributors using jotform. I am considering a paid subscription but still trying to figure out what the advantages would be for my service, but it looks good so far!

I have only recently started using JotForm and think that it is brilliant. It is very user friendly and very easy to use, giving even a complete novice the ability to create highly functional professional online forms. An excellent product, highly recommend it.

I really was excited when I started working with JotForm it had the function of being able to fill out our preexisting forms from a mobile platform and submit them to the correct department. Unfortunately we have found that 50% of them are blank in the submission email. So far the support department has been unable to repair or find a solution. We are hopeful they will be able to resolve this we have invested a lot of time loading all of our forms.

I'm the co owner of a small business Just Jewelry, we needed to create form and surveys for our store. While searching the internet Jot form was one of the best survey builder platforms i could find. JotForm has been really helpful to manage all the survey and pre-order forms I needed to make for my small business, just jewelry. It has been very easy, everything is in one place and it is a very easy site to use. I especially love how easy the site is to set up pre-order forms, with several templates to choose from. I really liked this website and would definitely recommend using it. Best of all its free! Really enjoying using this site.

Don't Use it for complex task. Very Poor integration with their own widgets and apps. Support promises to fix issue soon but takes months and doesn't fix.

Jotform is a very good form builder. The program is easy to understand, even more detailed forms are quickly build.
I have only found 3 improvable aspects:
- Conditions function doesn't work as expected
- Other languages than english are just poorly translated
- It should be more transparent before Building a form, how many submissions are possible in the free version

This morning I got an email saying that I reached the payment limit. "It seems like you have reached your payments limit. Free accounts are limited to 1 payments / month. Your forms will be disabled on Thursday at 12pm EST". That's in TWO hours from now!
The payment was made via Paypal so it has nothing to do with JotForm.

I'd like to qualify this review by saying I am not a programming or software expert. I own my own business and was attracted at the alleged ease for creating forms on jotforms.
The form were not that difficult to create. The user interface was straight forward enough for me to figure out how to build what I wanted.
Once the site is active, it has been a nightmare. The site is constantly down or not loading. My clients can't access the forums and there is NO customer support. There is no phone number to call. The support forum delay time is horrible if you are actually on a deadline or losing business. They have only actually replied to 50% of my support requests. Endlessly frustrating to try to depend on this product especially when the customer service is worse than bad... it's non-existent.
I am already looking for a more dependable alternative because I can afford to spend time every week trying to resolve technical issues with zero support help. I do not recommend this product

As much as I like the widgets and things with Jotform... and it is a good form builder. However the customer service is complete crap. So bad. Also they apparently make changes to things without notifying any of their integration partners, so if you have your form hooked up to different systems you could have an issue. I have some forms integrated to other systems via Zapier and Jotform made a change which created a bug in Zapier which caused many hours of fixing things, emailing customers and a direct cost to us. Try Wufoo Forms instead.
