As a Lego fan, my first time ordering from this site was good. I ordered the Lego Flintstones set, and it came before the week was over. They even made sure the contents were shipped safely by adding some protective packaging. Lego Shop did such a good job, I may think about buying there again.
On qty limit 1 items I can't purchase them if my family members in another state already did! Apparently they track so much of your personal information to try and stop people from over purchasing their products that it is a super common thing to just get permanently banned from Lego.com simply by being a strong supporter of them. There is also ZERO way to undo this apparently. Horrible company!

Tip for consumers:
Why would a company not want to let customers buy from their direct site?
I bought something from lego.com online website a week ago and they canceled it and made me pay for something from october that I have a payment error on that I did not know about. They only gave me 15 dollars in points to compensate me for my time and inconvenience. Now I have wait 2 weeks for the finance department to fix it. I will not be able to order for 2 weeks and redo everything. I was looking forward to doing my second story and now I cannot because of them.
Tip for consumers:
LEGO customer service said 15 dollars in points is stretching it for me. They should have given me more. I was Greatly inconvenience. I’m really looking forward to make my floor. And I could not because they canceled my order . They should have told me I had payment error from October so I did not waste my time.

Please be careful when you place an order with "Free Shipping" at the Lego eshop because for them free shipping means the slowest/ cheapest handling and shipping service option/ alternative. I placed an order on a Tuesday afternoon and two days after that, on Thursday morning the order status was "on warehouse". I will keep buying Lego's, but not from Lego.com anymore...
There are too many stores with easy returns and provide a shipping label at either a low cost or free. Lego.com does neither and stores only offer store credit. Lego is NOT a small company and children change their minds especially with all their marketing. I will no longer purchase direct as it cost over $27 to return a new unopened set because my child saw a new set he wanted more. Lego- your sets are already overpriced and the lack of service to your customer Is frustrating. I will not be shopping here in the future.

Tip for consumers:
Some items may be sold out to the point where the store will put them on back order, so be aware of that.
If you have broken or missing parts, you can order replacement parts, but be aware they get a lot of requests and therefore may take time to get to yours.

19 days after I order the item I still don't have the items.
I email and called the support and gets round around. First the status is "label printed" but nothing shipped for over 15 days. Then they create another order and expedited it. I am suppose to receive the items in 2-3 business day, it's been 3 days and still sitting in "warehouse" status.
Getting nowhere with their service department. I guess the shipping department decides to ignore the "expedite shipping"
This is the worst online shopping I have ever experienced.
Advice, skip Lego online. Buy from Amazon.
Lego should be able to price match their own items. Made a purchase and 7 days later the price drops by 30 dollars. Nick at customer service would not issue store credit or refund the difference. He insisted I repurchase and send back the old purchase. For Lego to not guarantee their price for a few days is not a friendly policy. Think Amazon and target are better bet's in the future.
If you teach boys or know any boys at all, you'll need to familiarize yourself with legos. My students, from the youngest to the oldest, have always loved Legos, and as an educator, I see a ton of benefits in their use/play - development of: motor skills, creativity, motor and cognitive planning, visual spatial skills, etc. Not to mention the relationship skills involved - sharing ideas and pieces, planning out the play with peers, etc.
The lego online store is pretty amazing -- a veritable wonderland for any boy or girl. I do think that I could find many of these sets elsewhere for cheaper (I've found a good many at places like TJ Maxx) but for the special, harder to find stuff, go here!
Lego would not accept in store return for unopened set but I received a label to return it. They have tithe unopened set but now claim it will take a month or so to refund the money. Wafts with this? I. Years past, last 5 they blame one thing or another but basically they cannot on a year around, year in and year out function like a normal company.
Tip for consumers:
If you buy a product from them or return it expects a very slow process , so slow that the credit card refund window will likely be closed

Lego is a slow company when comes to shipping products or processing refund but does an excellent job of collecting money from credit cards
Ever since building my Lego Grand Piano, I have been going around in circles concerning the power up app. When I activate it, it does not load the sheet music. It works with my Iphone 5, which I took out of storage and my grandsons Iphone11. Both had no issue with the full load. I spent 45 minutes going around in circles with an online chat. I finally gave up and called in. All the person could do is report the issue with no solution.
I am disappointed especially since this is one of Lego's premier products with a $350 price tag.
I wish I would have read the reviews before I purchase on Lego.com. After making my online purchase I noticed that Amazon offered superior pricing--$48.00 difference on two sets--a substantial savings. Lego.com would NOT cancel the order the same day altho it had not shipped. I can return the order once I get it and be credited... Maybe? A return authorization was prepared to include in the shipment so why not provide customer service and either price match or cancel the order? Ridiculous and I will never shop here again!
I have liked legos since the age of 4. It has been a milestone in my childhood and a great thing in my life. People my say that lego is a bad company, to that, I can't really say anything. Nowadays, i build my own creations, so I don't really know how sets work now, but overall, lego is a wonderful product.
Lego is surely one of the worst customer service provider I've ever met. They did not respect their customers, has discriminations, do things arbitrarily and did not provide a solution when things go wrong. They will be doomed if they do not change and improve.
The shipping is really quick my kids were extremely happy when i they got here they knew what it was right away i was worried that i wasn't going to receive them before my little sons birthday but incredible.
I love Lego, the toys, the parks, even the website are still high quality in this outsourced economy. The parts are still made where they originally were in Denmark, and the customer service is actually human. Their products are always high quality and on the verge of an imagination overload! As usual, a great job from Lego, fast shipping and an easy to maneuver website all add up to a very well done product. Thank you Lego, and nice job.
My kids love legos more than any other toys. Granted, I have two boys, but still they really love building their castles and spaceships. They now have lego Angry Birds and Star Wars and just about anything else you can imagine. The only complaint about Lego that I have is that they are now very expensive! Although I suppose they are supposed to be good for my kids' minds so perhaps it is okay...
I placed an order at the online Lego Store. The next day I received an email to say they can't deliver the items as outlined in the order and that I need to call and supply a new address. I called and they said that the order had been cancelled. I told them to leave it as cancelled. However, now my credit card is still billed for the amount. I'm calling everywhere trying to get my money back. I've even sent emails to their costumer service team with no response. I will never shop at their online store again.
First and last experience with LEGO.com shop resulted in a cancelled order by LEGO after having been on backorder for 20 days. Their final email said that due to overwhelming demand they had to cancel my order and are no longer offering the product. Customer service response was essentially an automated/form letter reply. I promptly deleted my LEGO ID and will search for other toy options for my children in the future. Overall rating is zero stars (but I think I have to chose one to get the review to register).
You will find the new sets on their first day of release and if there is a problem with your order (e.g. One of mine was missing one collectible minifigure I ordered), they bend over backwards to correct it (they sent me two minifigures to fix the issue within 3 days). The monthly give-away has always been available via the online store and I have even received freebies as a surprise in some orders.
Awesome company, Awesome products. Awesome service.
I returned a LEGO order and ended up paying $45 to ship it back as they will not provide return shipping label. I am extremely dissatisfied - for a company that large to expect the customer to pay for the shipping. They advertise free shipping to you but do not mention if you have a return it will be at your cost. I will NEVER order online again. My son had an extensive LEGO collection and have lost a customer.
I grew up with Legos. I loved them. I had a yellow Lego castle, a Lego space station, and a number of Lego vehicles. But beyond fond memories, I also think Lego helped me develop skills, like the ability to follow directions and spacial abilities (I'm not too bad at revolving 3D objects in my head).
As a consequence, all my friends' children now get Legos for their birthdays. I hope they like them, because I like buying them. Legos have gotten a little more ornate (I believe there is now a Johnny Depp Lego?) and expensive (my only complaint). But I still think they're better than most toys.
I love building legos and have for a long time but I simply cannot afford them anymore due the increased cost of them. I don't understand why you have to charge so much. I would love to get the Millennium Falcon set but simply cannot afford it for $169.00. I'm like why does it have to cost so much. It's sad. I have gone to these other brands now that are a fraction of the cost and they are bigger, more parts and quite frankly more affordable. Thanks Lego for ruining a great pleasure I had with your company. I wish I could have stayed with you because I was a loyal Lego fan. Just simply can't afford you anymore.
Tip for consumers:
You simply just charge way too much.

Can no longer afford them due to the skyrocketing prices. I have had to go to the off brands after years of loyalty to Lego. Sad.
I would like for Lego to do a lottery online to register for a drawing. You have millions of people that are loyal to buying them. They have increased in price and this could be a rewards program. Good marketing for your company. Rewards could be a Lego sets or a gift certificate for one set. We have spent thousands on sets for our grandson. We love Lego.
I put an order for my sons birthday 15 days prior and got confirmation email on my order and did not hear back from. I tried to live chat, there was no one available, I send an email and did not hear back from them and finally tried to call twice, I was on hold for 45 min for the first call and 30 min for the second call without getting any response. The worst customer service in US ever.
I ordered the Disney castle V39 was so excited that I got the order in on time. When I didn't receive it 2 months later I stared to ask questions. They replied that my item got lost or stollen and that they were sorry. They refuse to replace it! Gave me 25.00 credit to use and my money back. I told them I didn't want my money back I just wanted my product. They refuse to reply to me after that and I've tried many times. I'm very upset with their customer service and the company.
