The material, price and origin on your item's all help in determining what your government will charge you in customs for duties and taxes. These are assessed as you are importing items into your country. Items that are made in the USA are less likely to be charged. I hope this helps! XOXO

They are in American dollars and then there are taxes and duties added. My original charge was $180 with exchange I was charged $240 plus $60 in duties... 2 of the 3 dresses were cute but not worth what I paid. I will be returning all of them but I'm still out a lot of money.
