on 6/22/18As an online company we are vigilant about fraud. You provided an invalid credit card number that was being declined by our processor. Your order has a high fraud rating and was flagged. If a customer is indeed legitimate and not looking to commit online fraud, they would have rectified the situation with the credit card and simply placed a new order online.
Note that this company has been sued by Herman Miller.
After over a month, I never received the chair I ordered and cancelled. Madison Seating's website and order confirmation state that
"The estimated delivery time frame for all in stock items is 10-14 business days from the order date. Should the item selected not be in stock, you will receive an email notification. The FedEx tracking information will be emailed to you prior to shipment so you will know the exact date of delivery"
I did not receive an stating the item wasn't in stock, nor did I ever receive tracking information. In response to an email from me asking for status, they blamed the delay on COVID. The chair I ordered was a sale "open box" item. Note that Madison Seating's "open box" items include "... refurbished, reconditioned, reupholstered..." and apparently even items the don't even have, which is not the traditional definition of "open box."
I was buying this chair for my wife who is now having to teach online from home. I've had a Herman Miller Aeron chair for nearly 20 years and it is amazing! I thought I found a deal, but now I will be ordering a chair directly from Herman Miller - believe me when I say you won't regret your investment in yourself.
Please please... don't ever buy from this business
I bought a chair from them which was defective... and they never responded to my complain when I file a complaint with BBB they responded to me saying why I went to BBB and they won't approve the warranty
Save your self some trouble and stay away from this merchant
Avoid at all costs! I ordered and paid for seven chairs for my office that were not delivered. Maidson won't issue a refund or replacement but did offer a $1,800 credit to future purchases. After paying over $4,000 not getting anything I am not going to spend more money with them. Madison is also not cooperating with FedEx to determine what happened. They showed me a "proof of delivery" indicating a 47 lb package was delivered. The problem is 1) we were all is in the office and there was no delivery - we would have noticed 7 chairs. And if we missed it, at least our doorman would have noticed; and 2) 47 pounds is just more than the weight of a single chair.
